Anyone else 5 weeks pregnant?

I got a lovely dye stealer this morning and I am so chuffed! After a CP in July, seeing that beautiful first line so dark is giving me great hope.

Anyone else 5 weeks? How are you feeling?

@Snoopy28x. Aww 2 and 4! Good ages. I had my first young so I have boy 14, girl 11, boy 7 and boy 4. All at school now so I’m literally starting again. Oh well. It is what it is. There goes the Disney world trip for my hubby’s 40th next year 🤣. Still have sickness so bands no working yet. The bacon and egg sandwich helped tho!! Going to be huge if I carry on. Was to 🤢 today too to manage a workout as well. Just think I’m 24 hours you’ll have your proper due date and those lovely scan piccies. Do people know or are you making the announcement tomorrow? Xx

@LFmumof4 well we have had 3 losses, each time we had told people then they had to go through that emotion and loss to. So this time we wanted to keep it to ourselves until we had good news. I'm super super close to my sister, I hope she understands and doesnt feel sad that I didn't tell her sooner. Just wanted to give people happy news this time!

Oh yeah you really are back at the start!! My daughter started school this sept and my son goes to pre school 2 mornings a week. I was starting to get life back haha I'm also just at the start of a college diploma to let me start my own business when I finish it next summer. So it's all go! I'm 40 and wasnt really planning on another baby.. but hey life likes to throw these things our way! What's 1 more 😏 xx

@charlotte0808. Hey. Hope the scan all went well and you’ve got some reassurance now. @Snoopy28x I took your advice and now have ready salted Pringles and 4head. Hoping this all helps. Anyone else on here have awful nausea and headaches? X

Hey all scan went well measuring 12 weeks 5 days. Due 19th may. The bleeding is coming from a hematoma at top of sac only small 1.5mm I might bleed again or will absorb back into body so finally had an answer x baby would hardly keep still!

@charlotte0808 omg I love love this!!! Beautiful! I'm so glad you now have an answer. Do you feel better now?

We have the same estimated due date! Will see tomorrow what my scan says xx

@LFmumof4 ooh enjoy the pringles! Hope it all helps. There are others that have suffered badly with sickness so I'm sure they will be along with some advice. If you have a read back in the earlier posts on here 5you might get some tips 🙂 x

I do feel better knowing as if it happens again I will still worry but know it'll be ok. I just want may to hurry up 😂 this is my first and last could never stick the worry again lol.. oooh brilliant let me know how scan goes tomorrow xx

Aww that's awesome @charlotte0808! Hopefully that's provided some reassurance. I never felt anxious with my previous two but this time round I'm always worried something is going to go wrong, no idea why! I've still got 2 weeks until my scan, literally can't wait!

Ladies!! Feeling so nervous this morning. Got that churning tummy feeling!

Any suggestions to how much water to drink and how long before?

@Snoopy28x I always drink about 2 pints lol either they make me drink more or pee some out lol so hit and miss. And I drink some on my way and I get there about 30 mins early to drink the rest so not busting for a wee too long! X

You will be fine it's always nerve wrecking time is your scan? X

@charlotte0808 it's at 12.20 so not to much longer to wait. I'll get there early. Ok I'll try drinking that. I think I always drink to much and they make me wee a bit out.. which when your busting is not an easy task 😂🤣

Oh not long now.. I had to do that yesterday but bladder was still too full 😂 x

Glad to hear your scan all went well @charlotte0808 how are you feeling about things now? Will they continue to monitor the bleed or no more until 20wk now?

I had drunk too much water and had to go use the loo so she could de wetter without my bladder in the way lol. I’d say drink steadily until your scan and don’t down too much just before. It’s so hard to get the balance lol xx

@Blondiebrownie6 they wasn't concerned because it was only 1.5mm so nothing till 20 week scan which is 5th January unless I have a big bleed again. But I know what I'm like and will defo have a private one in December lol feel like I'll enjoy Xmas more then x

Meet my little one! I'm 12+5 so due 20th may 😍 it was being naughty and the poor lady doing the scan was trying for ages to get measurements she needed. It kept laying the wrong way but finally wriggled the right way! X

@charlotte0808 it's crazy still doesn't feel real. It did at the time seeing it wriggle about. Weve told most of dh close family tonight. We told dd and she freaked.. cried said she doesnt want anymore babies. Now shes come round to the idea and has planned all sorts of names like sparkles and cupcake. She cant wait to get to school to tell all her friends and teacher. Hoping the initial shock has worn off now! It made me nearly cry when she did xx

@charlotte0808 I can’t really remember tbh. I don’t remember any dramas. I think my daughter was a tad disappointed when my youngest was a boy and she’s the other person who knows about this baby (she found the test in my bag the noisy little Parker). She’s desperate for a girl. We’re a bit boyed out. @Snoopy28x I’m glad all went well with your scan. Lovely pic. Now you can tell your sister. 🥰. I was walking around Sainsbury’s today looking at the food like 🤢 whist frantically rubbing 4head on my head. I bloody hope this sickness and thick head goes. It’s making me a misery. (Even more)! X
