Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

New member here.
Got a positive on Friday last week and a digital on Saturday morning.
Was testing v.early.
We got married on Sept 11 and honeymoon coincided with ovulation so we took advantage and... well!
It was our first month trying and as both 40 we thought it would take a while. Ses we were lucky.
Today I am 4+1. Seeing midwife next week.

Tofu35 · 01/10/2021 11:35

Hi @willow1981 congratulations on positive! And it's brilliant you're seeing the midwife so soon, where I am I was booked in for bloods at my 8 wk mark and then first scan but that was through a phonecall! Think they're going to email me more info? Covid definitely impacting on what they can offer!

DangerousCity · 01/10/2021 11:53

How is everyone today? Is anyone having symptoms yet? This is my 6th I’m 4 weeks and 6 days by LMP, and already I can’t stop eating ham on toast!! I can’t stop peeing, I’m exhausted all the time and constantly feel sick! I can’t be the only one can I!?

Willow1981 · 01/10/2021 14:49

I'm just tired at the moment. Tired and hungry. Bit that could be normal for me to be honest.
I think I am noticing smells more but not been sick yet!

When have you or are you planning on telling people?

DangerousCity · 01/10/2021 16:20

Oh yes the smells! My partner and best friend knows but thats it atm, with previous ive announced it after the 12 week scan but i might wait until the gender scan this time (if i can hide it from my kids that long) haha x

Willow1981 · 01/10/2021 17:16

It's our first so every thing is new. Due on 10th June from dates but assume that might change.
SIL knows as she was trying to get us to join her in a trip to US in April. Going to tell my parents this weekend. Everyone else will have to wait!

Michelle0507 · 01/10/2021 17:38

Thought I'd join, due 8th June. Tested on Weds. :) I have a 2yo but had two MCs before him, so I understand all those worrying. 🤍 x

Hi all, I'm pregnant with my first. This bean was conceived in the lake District while we were on holiday. No symptoms at first but the last few days I've been getting what feel like quite intense period cramps but no blood. I've also been getting IBS flair ups at night with a strong urge to poo. Can't take buscopan to ease things as it's not recommended during pregnancy so have been trying peppermint tea. I don't really like herbal teas in general but it seems to help a bit. Anyone else ever experienced similar?

Pandamama88 · 01/10/2021 19:49

Hi I also got married this year and conceived our bean on our (kinda) honeymoon in the lake District when our piece of kit told us we were ovulating. This was also after 1 month of trying. It just happened so quick!

I'm afraid I find peppermint tea to be the best I used to use a wheatbag also my MW wasn't too happy with me doing that but it eased my pain. My friend suffers awful with her ibs when pregnant.
Pandamama88 · 01/10/2021 20:08

I think it's the hormones triggers the IBS

RT65 · 01/10/2021 21:02
@RT65 thank you, I think I worried too soon because I've felt sick as a dog all morning. Envy

How is everyone today? I'm 4+4 today!
@DaimDillyDoo Oh no! Sorry it's returned but at least it's good news things are on track. I'm curious did you try peppermint tea and crystalized ginger last time? I've heard it can work wonders and so far it's keeping my sickness at bay. Might be worth a try if you haven't already? Fingers crossed it works 🤞

Willow1981 · 01/10/2021 21:15

Sooo tired and ratty for no reason today. Thankfully my husband is being amazing. He is currently doing the washing up while I sit and try to remain awake long enough to hold a conversation. I might even find enough energy to find the right words. Pregnancy seems so unreal as I'm not having any noticeable symptoms yet. Nausea not started yet.
Bit windier than usual and tired but it is Friday and work is a lot at the moment so not unusual.

When are major symptoms likely to kick in?

MrsM29 · 02/10/2021 08:34

Anyone else having crazy vivid dreams???

Pandamama88 · 02/10/2021 08:36

I've had what feel like menstrual cramps during the day but no blood. And IBS cramps at night.

ttcally19 · 02/10/2021 12:56

@Ilovechocolatecoins I've actually the same really bad heart burn 🔥 nausea has been manageable just taking each day as it comes. The further I get along I'm feeling better that this might be successful I do just want to past 8 weeks though feels so long off though. If I get to 7 weeks I'm booking a private scan.

Willow1981 · 02/10/2021 13:50

Yes to insomnia and yes to vivid dreams. Wide awake from 6.30. Followed by the start of morning sickness! Fun times.

ClaraBean · 02/10/2021 14:07

Hi, can I join? Very nervously!! We've been trying over a year and have had two miscarriages so hoping third time lucky for this chap! Due on 9th June, but I'm 42, so obviously more chance of everything going wrong I think! Trying not to panic!

AmberBox · 02/10/2021 14:47
