Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@Unarosaes yes they just stopped suddenly. Still no cramping or bleeding which is giving me some hope. Such a worrying time and its far too early for an ultrasound.

Pandamama88 · 19/10/2021 11:27

I just had my 8 week scan. I'm over the moon! All healthy and heartbeat fluttering away!

PeeAche · 19/10/2021 11:35

Congrats @Pandamama88 ! That's so exciting.

@MadamMaltesers I'm so sorry if this is mimicking what happened to you before at 7 weeks. Try not to get ahead of yourself with negative thoughts. Have you taken another pregnancy test? Mine switched to "not pregnant" quite quickly after I lost my symptoms at my 7 week loss.

Think calm thoughts. Thanks

rathernotshare · 19/10/2021 11:42

@Pandamama88 congrats! I bet it is such a relief to see that!

Prema112 · 19/10/2021 11:47

@Pandamama88 that's great news!! @CurryandSnuggle how was your scan? Thinking of you XX

MadamMaltesers · 19/10/2021 11:49

@PeeAche thanks for the kind words. Yes its just reminding me of my last loss. I havent taken a test so ill do that asap and in the meantime try and stay calm x

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 13:35

@Prema112 Thank you for asking Smile all went well thank goodness, baby in womb with a heartbeat. No explanation for the bleeding but she said it’s not coming from my womb! Yay Smile I can relax now until my 12 week scan. Measuring 7 weeks 1 day Grin

Prema112 · 19/10/2021 13:54

@CurryandSnuggle Oh amazing I'm so pleased to hear that!! You must feel so happy! I've got a scan on Friday after some more spotting so praying I see a little heartbeat too! X

CurryandSnuggle · 19/10/2021 13:57

@Prema112 good luck with your scan, I will be thinking of you Flowers

Prema112 · 19/10/2021 14:06

PeeAche · 19/10/2021 14:48

For all of my Due-June-Sisters out there, that need a little reassurance from the numbers.

Stay calm, ladies.xxx

@TTCjourney2021

I love this! X
Thank you for this! I needed to read it today. I'm waiting to go back to EPU tomorrow for bloods monitored again to see if this pregnancy will continue or not. 🤞🏻 xx
MrsNT · 19/10/2021 14:55

So im waiting for someone from gp surgery to call back. Spoke to receptionist
How soon do ppl get EPU referall? Same day? Next day??

PeeAche · 19/10/2021 14:58

@MrsNT at 5+5, my local trust do not offer referrals at all. Do you have the number for your local community midwives? They can give you a straight answer on this immediately. I'm so sorry for you, you must be feeling so anxious.xxx

I called the midwife line and they said to call gp and get epu referral.. so annoying how long winded everything is

MrsNT · 19/10/2021 15:02

Im tempted to go to A&E if i dont hear back soon. :(

PeeAche · 19/10/2021 15:09

Are you bleeding heavily or just the brown discharge so far? A&E will be exhausting and upsetting. I went there with an early miscarriage and I was told they "don't deal with embryos". Of all of the experiences I have had, this was probably the one that invalidated my feelings about my baby the most.

Unless you are bleeding heavily, I suggest that you sit tight and try to do something distracting. A bit of telly perhaps. Do you have someone with you?

MrsNT · 19/10/2021 15:09
@hotwater40 so happy for you!
Im currently sitting in EPU but think im too early to see anything on a scan even if they did do one.
Was it just the one bleed you had?
I had one saturday and another today
Hey hun xx did you find out what it was?

MrsNT · 19/10/2021 15:11

@PeeAche its brown discharge mixed with the normal white one ..apologies for tmi..
Yeah have got dh with me as wfh today. Trying to rest but cant stop worrying and thinking. I had a chemical preg a yr ago and took all that time to get preg again

Clomid1 · 19/10/2021 15:14

@MrsNT oh hun. You know there is a good chance it will be nothing but like you I’d also be trying to get myself checked out.

I went to A&E when it happened to me. They then referred me to EPU who scanned me on the monday morning (i went to A&E on the sunday evening). If you can’t self refer to your EPU then I’d go to a walk in centre or A&E. Better than being sick with worry.

PeeAche · 19/10/2021 15:18

No such thing as TMI. We're all in the same boat here!

Brown blood is generally older blood. This could be from implantation. It takes several days for the blastocyst to implant thoroughly and it can then be several more days for the blood to pass. It may have just slicked out of you with your discharge.

If you begin to cramp, I would support you seeking out secondary care (go to A&E or MIU) but right now, you have to remember that as far as you are aware, this is a normal and healthy pregnancy and passing brown discharge in the first 6 weeks is a normal and healthy symptom.

Perhaps you should just put your phone down for a half hour - I'm sure you're obsessively Googling things! Take some deep breaths. Maybe have a walk around the garden, it's very mild today!xxx
