Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@Clomid1 I get worried too but now I feel rough and hoping it doesn't last too long! I think my husband thinks I'm making it up 😂

1stTimeTina · 18/10/2021 09:18

Thanks everyone, that’s certainly put my mind at ease x

JenniferR2021 · 18/10/2021 09:22

@Unarosaes @Bella2255 I'm due 14th June too 🤪

My husband had the cheek last night (when I think I was complaining about how I was feeling or something) to say "you're not THAT pregnant" 😡😂

Pandamama88 · 18/10/2021 09:57

Update. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow due 1st June and going for an early scan. Fingers crossed it's all good. Early on I had no symptoms, then I started having really bad IBS flair ups for about a week and a half. That's subsided now and has been replaced by mild nausea. I've also gone off certain things I used to really like to eat and getting weird specific cravings like super noodles (not the most nutritious I know). This is my first pregnancy. Wondering if anyone can summarise what some of the common abbreviations mean that I see all the time in this chat? I've worked some of them out but not others

Bella2255 · 18/10/2021 10:15

@JenniferR2021 yay how exciting 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. How are your symptoms so far? I've definitely been feeling exhausted and sickness has started... not the best combination! I feel under the weather which is the best description! Sore boobs and much more snappy than usual 😂

PeeAche · 18/10/2021 10:19

@makingamac

Please remind your husband that he isn't pregnant at all! GrinWinkHalo

JenniferR2021 · 18/10/2021 10:33

@Bella2255 yeah I'm ok just tired and boobs killing no sickness yet thank goodness .x

JenniferR2021 · 18/10/2021 10:34

And I'm showing lol

hotwater40 · 18/10/2021 10:35

@hotwater40

Hi all, I am 6 weeks or just coming up to it. First baby! 🤞Had a bit of a scare on Friday, woke up in the morning with pink spotting, then had a massive gush of bright red blood at lunchtime. I had light-medium cramps for a few hours. It was a gush and then it stopped, with no more bleeding since. I called my GP who told me to go to A&E...so we headed off, a bit reluctantly because I knew that they'd be unlikely to see anything on a scan at this stage, even if it was a healthy pregnancy.

Got to A&E and it was a 3.5 hour wait so we decided to just come home and wait it out. I'm going to call EPU tomorrow and ask for an early scan if possible, maybe towards the end of this week so they've more chance of seeing something. I still have symptoms, very tired, sore boobs, and still getting very strong positive lines on IC tests... it's all such a waiting game! Hope you're all well x

Hi all! Hope you're doing well, I just wanted to follow up with my message from a couple of weeks ago for the benefit of anyone who comes across the post in search of answers.

I managed to have an early scan, and all was fine!! Saw the little one and heard a happy healthy heartbeat. Utterly relieved, and the explanation for my bleed was a subchorionic haematoma, which I saw on the ultrasound as a big patch of a different texture just under baby. The sonographer explained that the process of the embryo implanting is quite a 'trauma' for the womb and can cause a massive bruise, which can then bleed out or be reabsorbed into the womb lining. I bruise really easily so found this interesting!

I just wanted to say I did have light-medium cramping (like my period was starting), as well as a big bright red bleed, so these two together don't always spell a miscarriage and fingers crossed if you're going through something similar 🤞🤞

fallhappy1 · 18/10/2021 10:36

Hope its OK to join 😁 got my bfp. Due in June. Midwife calculated me at 7 weeks.

Unarosaes · 18/10/2021 10:56

@JenniferR2021 it's so great to find others who are exactly at the same point of the journey. I have had some random sickly moments, but nothing consistent, and to be honest, I am not even sure there isn't a psychological element involved... it has been mainly sore boobs and slow digestive system for me. Since yesterday I am also feeling completely and utterly knackered. A bit like a hungover or if I had climbed a mountain the day before, when all I did was have a family lunch and sit around the table until 9pm.

@EB86 I have exactly the same - been like this from about 4 weeks. The first week I was going constantly to the loo to check that everything was ok, because it felt like it could be my period starting.

MrsNT · 18/10/2021 10:59

Is anyone considering pregnancy yoga/pilates in a few months? Any mommies here who have been to it in previous pregnancies ..is it any good?

Tofu35 · 18/10/2021 11:07

Last night while I was on the couch feeling shattered and nauseous, my husband tried to make the moves on me. Seems he "misses" the constant TTC sex we were having the last 2 years. Sorry, those days are gone. Mission successful, now you can leave the room as I'm going to throw up 🤢

Happymummytobe1 · 18/10/2021 11:09

Wellthiswasunexpected · 18/10/2021 11:40

Hello! Can I join? I’m new to Mumsnet and only recently found out I’m pregnant for the first time (6 weeks today!) Husband and I planned to start trying in January so, well, whoops.

My due date is June 13th but I haven’t even had my first scan yet so am just a ball of anxiety rather than excitement…

My symptoms are EVERYTHINGGGG. Boobs hurt, cramping, discharge (yellow sometimes?), nausea (although no sickness), bloating, and I’ve been in bed for about 6 days now. Can’t get up for the life of me. Terrified this is because something’s wrong :(

Anyway! Scan on the 28th so fingers crossed.

Tofu35 · 18/10/2021 11:48

@rathernotshare Poor souls, they're just so hard done by.

Hi @Happymummytobe1

I am a pragmatic individual with no desire to unnecessarily worry anyone. And I certainly don't want to cause any undue stress.

However, I think to be safe, you should ring your GP or community midwives and just run through these symptoms with someone qualified as they could indicate an ectopic pregnancy. I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I'd be even sorrier if I were right and didn't say anything.xxx

rathernotshare · 18/10/2021 13:04

My early scan is officially next week (not til the Friday!) 😁

Skinnymuffins · 18/10/2021 13:20

@JenniferR2021

And I'm showing lol
I've been thinking about this! This will be my third baby and I didn't show as early with them but I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and my jeans are a bit tight to say the least!

It can't be weight I've put on as I'm hardly eating due to being put off so much but thankfully the baby is craving melons, veg, fish and water haha! Completely gone off the things I love like chocolate so could it be just a bit of bloating? Water retention? Mad to think it's only 7 weeks and I need new jeans 😬

This sounds like me... Basically it feels like the worst hangover in history and it's every. Day.

Not forever hopefully and fingers crossed it subsides around 12 weeks!

Bella2255 · 18/10/2021 13:32

@Skinnymuffins @Wellthiswasunexpected I feel exactly the same... almost like I'm coming down with something. Really hard to explain. I had friends over for breakfast yesterday and I had to go and take a nap afterwards. I couldn't even bring myself to tidy up, which is not like me atall!!! Laid on the sofa until the evening feeling sorry for myself!!!

So grim isn't it! A hangover is EXACTLY right that's how I described it to my husband. Even my eyes feel dry and sunken like the morning after too much booze haha.

Ironically though, whenever I feel better I suddenly worry that my symptoms have gone and it must mean the worst. Do you guys have that?! Can't win!

Yes to the naps...got a 5 hour workshop in the office tomorrow and don't know how I'm gonna survive it.

I cancelled my sister in law coming over with her kids on Saturday and they're so lovely, I just wasn't up to it.

The sofa is my home now. 🤣
