There’s already a March thread but everyone seems so far along already with people
Due at the beginning of March.

I’ve estimated I’m due around 29th of March so thought I’d make a thread for that! Anyone else?
Ive just come back from holiday, I took the tests the first day we got there to check if it could enjoy a cocktail or two.. ended up with mocktails instead! Grin

How are we feeling? Any symptoms yet?

@ItsAlice yeah it definitely does, I honestly was expecting it to take a while after being on contraception for so long. Congratulations šŸŽ‰

Dyra · 26/07/2021 21:31

Thanks everyone. Had a bit of pink discharge this afternoon, as well as a small amount of cramping. Going to repeat your mantra @ItsAlice. Today I am pregnant

I turned into a bit of a serial tester too @Nervyy and @GabeKhera. Trying to limit it to once a day at most, but it's so amazing watching that line appear.Blush

Ditto @Sunshineandgin. DH and one of my buddies at work (she's 27 weeks pregnant and finishing next week, wanted her to know) are the only people IRL who know. Once I've had my 12 week scan I'll let everyone know.

chuffer15 · 26/07/2021 21:53

Me! I got my positive last week after trying for a year and 2 previous miscarriages. I had a bleed over the weekend but the early pregnancy unit think it may just be implantation. I'll get a scan at 6 weeks just to ease my mind though. My boobs are so sore and I'm already starting to feel off, I always get severe sickness during pregnancy so dreading that part.

GabeKhera · 26/07/2021 22:17

@ItsAlice oh so nice 😊 I am from round the corner as well šŸ˜‰ and yes, last time I went to see same doctor Kumar and he has saved my life, litterally. As I had 9 weeks ectopic pregnancy with 7weeks embryo with no heartbeat. His care was so amazing, he has checked me over with such attention. Was actually supposed to go there today, but because last week I went to Good Hope, so for now I am under their care and I have a scan on wednesday at the hospital. Wasn't feeling very well today though as feeling annoying pain, but trying to think positive.
Have you already thought about the hospital for your labour?

ItsAlice · 26/07/2021 22:25

Aww @Dyra good on you for using that phrase! It’s keeping me sane and makes me feel ok to be happy for being pregnant today, even if it changes tomorrow.

@GabeKhera - what a small world! Yeah he is brilliant, so confident and reassuring without being dismissive. After my second miscarriage I had a cyst and when we gave up on Nhs delays 6 months later we saw him with bupa. He did my laparoscopy, removed my manky tube, endometriosis and did a dye test then I saw him at ashfurlong for clomid scans etc and he is just the best. Going to let him know once I’ve spoke to the GP and book in for a scan with him (I’m spreading nice pregnancy related admin through the first couple of weeks). Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling bad, I hope that things pick up for you soon. Yeah I’m probably going to opt for burton as I had a section last time and am leaning towards that for next time (not least as my due date is 4 days after my daughters birthday)….

Theimpatientworrier · 26/07/2021 22:47

Thank you @Nervyy and hello to the rest of you ladies šŸ‘‹šŸ»- it’s such a worrying time isn’t it, but it’s nice to know that brown spotting and cramping can both be fine. For that reason I’ve told my two oldest friends - I needed someone to confide in so that it was real and as one of them is training to be a nurse and has two boys (this is my first pregnancy) - I was so glad I shared as she immediately reassured me.

GabeKhera · 26/07/2021 22:59

I am very bad at keeping my happiness from the people šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ it is everything written on my face šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I know that maybe it is worth to wait for a little longer without sharing the news, but hey, when people will start seeing bump, it will not be so exited 🤭

Theimpatientworrier · 26/07/2021 23:28

Haha @GabeKhera - I’m pretty sure lots of people have worked me out too

MyMabel · 27/07/2021 08:38

@GabeKhera I am too! I’ve already told my close family and DP’s dad knows. I get far too excited. Plus I’m of the thinking that I like to tell the people I know will support me of the worst happened, and you may aswell give those people good news; even if bad news follows.

I'd love to tell my mum, as she's been having a really tough time of late. But I'm afraid that if something does go on to happen, it'll be yet another scoop of shit for her to deal with. And I don't want to take that risk.

Nervyy · 27/07/2021 09:17

What symptoms is everyone is having / not having and when did they start / stop??
I’ve been bloated for a week or so but that’s suddenly disappeared today!
Superrrrr sore boobs for about a week or more, EXHAUSTED and hungrier than I thought possible (but this could also be down to giving up caffeine and smoking?) Has anyone else given anything up??

bubblybrit · 27/07/2021 09:43

Morning. Hoping it’s ok to join you all. I’m 4+5 today with EDD being 2nd April (I’m sure this will change at the dating scan though!)

I am a little nervous as had a MMC in December. No inclination that anything was wrong so was in complete shock at 12 week scan to find out that pregnancy hadn’t progressed beyond 6 weeks. I have booked a private scan at 7 weeks as I’d rather know if the pregnancy wasn’t viable sooner rather than later (appreciate both guarantees beyond this but that will be the first hurdle for me).

I’ve had a really upset stomach which I didn’t have when pregnant with DD so a bit unpleasant. Plus feeling quite nauseous.

I wasn’t going to tell anyone as super early but my mum guessed as my upset stomach had been ongoing for a week or so before I tested. A little annoyed that she put me in the position that I had to confirm the pregnancy but what’s done is done. I also told my boss this morning as feel awful today and had to call in sick. Didn’t feel right making up an excuse so had to tell him 😬

Hope everyone else is doing well...will catch up on the thread throughout today! It will keep my mind off feeling so sick xx

bubblybrit · 27/07/2021 09:44

*that should read ā€˜no guarantees rather than both guarantees’

Sunshineandgin · 27/07/2021 10:08

@bubblybrit that's understandable why you'd be nervous, hope all goes well this time. It's so hard not knowing isn't it.

@Nervyy I've been feeling really nauseous in the mornings the past few days but feel fine today. With my first my boobs were so sore but it's hard to tell this time as I'm still breastfeeding so I often get twinges anyway. And again I feel shattered but I always do chasing after a toddler so I don't think that's a new thing haha.

MyMabel · 27/07/2021 10:08

@Nervyy just really tired still. Also appetite is fairly small at the moment; I remember this from last time; felt really hungry like I could eat an entire horse, but when I started eating I feel so full so quickly, then hungry again soon after.

Need to remember to eat small amounts regularly throughout the day. Once I got the hang of it last time I felt much happier and content (less hangry)

Shad0w · 27/07/2021 10:27

@Nervyy when I first found out I was pregnant (just over two weeks ago) I was absolutely shattered for about 5 days, that then improved. I have really sore swollen boobs and have since finding out. I haven't really had any nausea, a very small amount. Bloated and uncomfortable on a couple of the days and spotting (I am waiting for an appointment from the EPU for this to make sure all is ok)

spookycookies · 27/07/2021 10:31

My boobs feel really dense and heavy. I'm exhausted but also having trouble sleeping. My jeans are also tighter than they were two weeks ago.

Twinkles18 · 27/07/2021 11:35

Hey girls can I join please? 🄰 currently 5+2weeks so EDD around end of March!
Had a missed miscarriage at end of January only discovered at out 12 week scan so I'm quite nervous this time. I have done the same as you @bubblybrit and booked a scan for 2 weeks time when il be 7weeks so it's something to look forward to šŸ’•

Hope everyone's feeling good šŸ¤

bubblybrit · 27/07/2021 11:49

I think the next few weeks are going to drag in until my scan @Sunshineandgin.

Your journey is scarily similar to mine @Twinkles18. Glad you found this thread šŸ˜€!

Dyra · 27/07/2021 12:23

As Coldplay sings "when you feel so tired but you can't sleep" I feel that in the depths of my soul right now. Appetite is kinda minimal right now too. Also my jeans are a bit tight atm too. Occasionally I've had pangs in my boobs. I'm BFing my toddler still and it's starting to get irritating.

GabeKhera · 27/07/2021 12:40

I had a dream last night that I had a boy 😊 but I didn't had a milk for him 🤭 so everyone arround been storing milk from their babies and one mum gave me a chocolate milk bottle šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Overall I usually have very informative dreams and I can guess by them what to expect. So hopefully this one is one of those 😊

Shad0w · 27/07/2021 12:58

@GabeKhera my DH (to be) has had the same dream for the last 3 nights now that we have a baby boy and when he is a few days old I go out alone for a few hours and our newborn baby boy jumps up onto his feet and runs away! DH says it's impossible to catch him šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Now that is one clever newborn! Baby Boy Bolt!

Gotu · 27/07/2021 13:14

The tender boobs are kicking in šŸ˜†šŸ™ˆšŸ˜‚

Oh dear šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ maybe he will be a sprinter šŸ˜‰

broodyas · 27/07/2021 13:29

Hi everyone, got my BFP today and I'm 4+6 based on LMP, so still very early! Been feeling nauseous with sore boobs for the past few days, DH thought my symptoms were all wishful thinking šŸ˜‚ He got a shock when I presented him with the test this morning!
