@MrsTwentyNine
Having just read your post I thought I would share my experience hoping that it might help.
Last Friday night I went for a wee, when I wiped there was a 50p amount of reddish brown blood on the tissue and a small amount in the toilet bowl. I woke my husband and we went to A&E, waited to be seen for 8 hours, in that time it stopped and started again and was turning darker brown.
I was assessed by the EPAU over the phone and they said they wouldn't scan me due to covid, but gave me advice.
Roll on a couple of days later I had a few small dark brown clots, however was reassured this was old blood and not to be concerned, I also booked a private scan for reassurance.
Tuesday saw our little one's strong heartbeat thankfully.
Fast forward to Friday I went for a wee and when I wiped there was bright red blood on the tissue and more than last time in the toilet bowl. I immediately called the EPAU who said because of the colour and amount of blood I needed to be seen, they couldn't see me until the day after.
I went for a scan at the EPAU yesterday and saw little one swimming around. They couldn't see anything abnormal on my scan which is a good sign and couldn't explain the reason for me bleeding.
I have been advised if it happens again to call EPAU if I have bright red blood or cramping that doesn't go away with paracetamol.
I hope this helps x
