How close where you to your due date??

I'm 38 weeks FTM and hoping for an early arrival but think I'm just wishful thinking and fed up! How many of you where early with your first baby or on time/late?? I hope this ends soon 🙏

I’m 34 weeks FTM and hoping for the opposite because I’ve got a section booked in the 39th week. Following 👀

Out of my friends I have one who had the baby at 37 weeks, one at 34+5, one 10 days early.. all first timers 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m hoping my baby is very comfortable in there and shows no sign of budging 😂

1st was induced due to high bp took 3 days, born 39+6. I think she'd have been late if left alone.
Went in to labour close go due date with spontaneous labours, 2nd born 40+5 (6 days from dilation noted), 3rd born 40+2 (2 days after 1st contractions) . Breech twins evicted via elcs bang on 38. 33+3wk with a singleton atm.

First pregnancy - 2 days early
Second pregnancy - 10 days early

First 1 day early.
Second 3 weeks early.

Sibling A 1 week early.
Sibling B 2 weeks late and 1 week late.

I was 5 days late with DS

DS1 was 8 days late

40+2

4 weeks early

had waters partially broke day before EDD.
was induced 40w+1, he was born the next day

all the others were late too apart from the ELSC delivery

13 days early with my 1st, spontaneous labour. Hoping for the same again this time currently 33 weeks!

I went into labour at 40+1 and my baby was born at 40+2. My friend had her baby on her due date but had contractions at home for a few days before I believe. I have another friend who had hers at 41+4. She was induced but didn't work and she had a CS in the end. I was so surprised to have my baby 2 days after due date, with everyone saying first borns tend to be late and just a feeling the whole way through that he'd be really late. I didn't even have any symptoms beforehand of labour being imminent I just sort of starting getting contractions and they got intense really quickly and soon after I went to the hospital and he was born 15 hours later

40+1 but I was induced on due date

1st -10days late
2nd - 2 days early

DS1 = 37+5
DS2 = 38+2

I have a random theory that babies in hot countries cook quicker. My anecdotal experience is that the majority of babies here (tropical climate) come before their due date.

Bang on 37 weeks but had been having contractions for 3 days... all the midwives I spoke to brushed the contractions off as braxton hicks because they were so random in when they came and I managed the pain (as in it wasn't that bad and I could cope) plus no plug or waters.
In the end I was fed up of random bursts of it that I asked to be checked out, went in and was sent straight to delivery, ds arrived within half an hour of me and dh presenting to the hospital.

I’m a FTM and due today- nothing! I’ve got an induction booked for next week but hoping she comes before then. Like you I was hoping for early- I advise you not to get your hopes up because it’s quite devastating the longer you have to wait!!

1st baby 4 weeks early
2nd baby, 3 weeks early.
Pre eclampsia, breach, IUGR.both.

Both absolutely fine, home within 24 hours. C section for both.

My first was 5 days early. My second was 7 days early. Currently 37 weeks with #3 x

I was 4 days late with my first. A word of caution about wishing it away - I requested a sweep on my due date and the midwife was a bit ‘if you’re sure but you’re not showing any signs so I don’t think it’ll do much’. Anyway I did go into early Labour - but was stuck there for three days, mild contractions every 20 mins. Didn’t sleep for three days and went into Labour utterly exhausted. With hindsight I wish I’d left my body to ‘ripen up’ a bit more rather than trying to get things going, I’m convinced I’d have had DD on the same day but would have had a nicer Labour because I wasn’t already wrecked from lack of sleep!

9 weeks away.

I went into labour the day before my due date and my DC was born on their due date.

Five days early with first, six with second.
