Hello.

I'm due 4th February after getting a very faint line on Sunday, positive on an FRER Monday and now a 1-2 weeks on a clear blue yesterday.

I am in absolute shook as I have a 7 month old at home and was on the Non-hormonal coil.

I've found out super early,

Congratulations everyone ❤️

How are we all feeling today? Xx

broodymamma · 04/06/2021 09:39

Hi, can I please join. Can't believe how excited I felt to get my BFP as this is baby 8. Surely I should be used to it by now.
No symptoms yet except for the early wake up each morning at around 5. A Facebook group would be awesome so we can get to know each other and support each other on this incredible journey to becoming a mom.
Really regretting not having lost the weight from my previous pregnancy so starting out 2 stone heavier than last time.
Will really have to be extra careful and keep active as much as possible.

broodymamma · 04/06/2021 09:40

So happy to see my line getting stronger. Expecting a dye stealer by Sunday

Can I join? I got my BFP last night and my due date is 10th Feb. I’m a bit shocked, we just started trying last month but didn’t think it would happen straight away. We have twins who are 3 so a slight fear of twins again!
I have been feeling very nauseous and sore boobs, I didn’t have symptoms at all at this stage with my first pregnancy!

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 10:18

Welcome @KS21 and congratulations!
Yes I had a Facebook group for my last pregnancy and we still keep in touch now the kids are 3! It's a lovely community and we have even had little local meet ups

@Trinacham yep I've had those stitch feelings. I remember them from my last pregnancy, I believe it is stretching

@First2022 welcome and congratulations! I think you'll see something at 6weeks, but I think if you can hold out until closer to 9weeka you'll see more and it'll be more worth it

@tierneytarny I loved getting my 2-3 weeks. Not gonna go for a 3+ as I've heard some people don't even get it at all

@Mamaux hello and congratulations! I'm also due 5th 😊

@broodymamma hello and welcome! Wow 8! What a lovely big family! I'm also starting out heavier than last pregnancy, so not looking forward to being the size of an actual house 😂😂 that's a lovely strong line too!

@Purplegrass572 hello and congratulations! Wow twins! Imagine two sets!

confusedandshocked94 · 04/06/2021 10:24

Congrats everyone!!
I have a Facebook group for my October baby!!

Still no symptoms over here! I remember praying for them to start with my first so I knew everything was okay. Then the morning sickness hit and wow 🤢🤢

Hiya, can I join please? I'm "due" around 12th Feb. Just got my BFP!

1ogansmum · 04/06/2021 10:27

Morning girls 5 weeks today and no symptoms over here either! Think just a little something would put my mind at ease, I keep getting tempted to buy more tests 🙈 xx

confusedandshocked94 · 04/06/2021 10:37

@1ogansmum I'd like a few symptoms just to put my mind at ease for now! Haha xx

Little paranoid Annie here (testing every day still 😆 as I can’t process that it’s real) but I’ve got a pain in my left side that feels like a stitch is that normal? It’s just an unbearable pain just aware! Also does everyone get implantation bleeding?

I had this a couple of days ago on my right side, it lasted a few hours and I've been fine since xx
Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 13:25

@KS21 I remember getting that with my first pregnancy, I think it's everything stretching

I'm also still testing every day! I'm 4+6 today which is the day I MC'd on last time, so feeling anxious about that. Once today is over I reckon I'll be able to cam it down on the tests

KS21 · 04/06/2021 13:32

@Tabbycat92 it probably feels a little like period pain!

babydoodles · 04/06/2021 15:04

Hi, all can I also jump on this post, I'm 6 weeks today and due 28th January I'm 35 and it's taken me and my DP over a year to conceive so I was so shocked when I hadn't started my period and I had really bad cramps so I was so sure I would start AF but didn't so tested 3 days after AF was due and got my BFP Smile we are so excited.
Congratulations to you all on your BFP
My symptoms are sore boobs and I was waking up at 4.30 am every morning for a week but that has passed now, also getting mild cramps, bloated and feeling very tired. This will be my 3rd child but my DP first child also will be a massive age gap cos my two children are now teenagers 13 and 16. X

Tiredandobsessed · 04/06/2021 15:47

I still have no symptoms other than heavy boobs (but they're not swollen or sore) and the odd 'feeling' in my tummy. Should I be worried? Hate going for a wee incase I see blood. Or am I just expecting to much considering I'm only 4+5 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm desperate for symptoms so it feels more real x

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 16:08

Welcome and congratulations @babydoodles

@Tiredandobsessed with my son I had pretty much no symptoms. It was odd, but it's better than constant sickness! This time I have slightly sore boobs, a very metallic taste and a achey lower back that I've had since before my positive test (but I do suffer with my back from time to time, and apparently that makes you more susceptible)

Babypink99 · 04/06/2021 16:24

Hi everyone, I’m only 21 and just found out I’m pregnant, this wasn’t planned and I’m scared and haven’t told my family yet, I’m also estimated to be due early February 3rd and I’m currently 5weeks 3 days. It’s becoming more real now as I had to run to the toilet this morning to throw up before eating but nothing came up, my nipples are sore and I’m very emotional and exhausted but I’ve been working long hours at my restaurant job which doesn’t help. Im also starving hungry but can’t think of anything I want to eat! Experiencing IBS and the occasional strange stomach cramps, I’d love to hear other people’s symptoms and what they are experiencing during their early Stages of pregnancy as I’m feeling quite alone and isolated in this process so far but I want to feel More excited and talk to some women who are going through the same thing as I have no one to talk to about it for fear of judgement, because I’m young i feel embarrassed that I am pregnant and have decided to keep the baby, it would be nice to make some friends on here and do this journey together!

KS21 · 04/06/2021 16:35

@Babypink99 firstly congratulations! I’m 31 and 5 weeks today, so your just a few days ahead of me! Have you let your GP know so they can organise a midwife referral and scan for you? I’ve just had my appointment confirmation today for July!
I’m still struggling to process the news and even though I’m married it was still a surprise and my husband is probably more excited than me! In terms of symptoms - I’ve got sore nipples, tiredness, car sickness (driving to work has been awful) and today I’m experiencing some IBS/bloat which isn’t normal for me!
If your working long hours, make sure you are drinking plenty water, so you don’t dehydrated. I’ve not been keen on eating the last few days and find snacks are my preference and something plain like scrambled egg, toast etc!
Xxx

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 16:40

Hey @Babypink99 no judgement here 😊 we're all women going through the same thing. Defo make sure you're staying hydrated, and probably worth telling your manager if you're having to dash to the loo etc.
Sore boobs, metallic taste, achey back and waking in the early hours are my symptoms. I'm 4+6 today and due on the 5th

tavileh · 04/06/2021 17:02

Hi folks, due on 3rd Feb, 5w+1d today. First pregnancy and it took us 18 cycles! I am super nervous... Also checking everytime I go to the loo!
On the up side, I seem to have every symptom, keep waking up at 4am, sore boobs, cramps, hungry and nausea, bad stomach, tiredness, dizziness, literally alll of the things.

I'm hoping this is all a good sign, but I'm too scared to test again :)

thingymaboob · 04/06/2021 17:02

@Babypink99 definitely get booked in with midwife. Stay hydrated. How are things with your boyfriend / partner? Have you got a lot of support from family / partner / friends? (Once you tell them...)

Babypink99 · 04/06/2021 17:12

Thank you @Tabbycat92 and @KS21 nice to hear from you, I am making an effort to stay hydrated, my water bottle comes everywhere with me now. I tried to make a GP appointment but they said they don’t do pregnancy confirmations and they told me to call a number to get hold of midwives but they said I had to wait until I’m at least 6 weeks and then call so I haven’t had a gp appointment or booked in for anything I’m not sure how it works but I might try again as id like one before I’m 6 weeks even if it’s just a check up / to find out what I need to do next and what to expect, I was surprised that my gp sent me elsewhere

Babypink99 · 04/06/2021 17:17

Thank you @thingymaboob my partner has been very supportive so I’m thankful for that and I’m sure my family will be too once I am brave enough to tell them and they get over the initial shock

KS21 · 04/06/2021 17:20

@Babypink99 I’m not sure what area your in but for Scotland it’s normal for your GP to refer you directly to the midwife - that’s what mine did :) xx

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 17:57

@Babypink99 the go will refer you to midwives, but if you're anything like down here the midwives won't contact you with an apt until you're around 6.5 weeks and the apt will be after you're 8 weeks. Unless you're high risk you don't really get any more than that. Only person who might be able to give advice is your local family planning clinic maybe?
