Hi all
Thought I would share my pregnancy with everyone and have a thread so we can all talk.
So I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. Still early stages. Baby is due December 28th...

I got my blood test results back.
It's says I'm low risk of baby having down's. although I don't understand the numbers🤦🏽‍♀️

Wonderful news ! I had the same and of course as a bonus we now know we’re having a baby boy how about yourself? I’m 16 weeks today next hurdle is the 20 week anatomy scan wishing you and everyone else good luck and good vibes for the rest of our nine months!

Just got back from my gender scan. The dreams I been having of us having a girl were right...we are having a girl! My daughter is so chuffed she's having a little sister! she had her back to us for most of the scan and in the 4d scan...the normal scan photo has freaked me out. Ypu can see the skull and eye sockets and nose and mouth just looking at us.
How did everyone else's scans go today? Xx

@Curlymam88 congratulations to you too 💖🥰 isn’t it funny?! The sonographer was asking what we thought and if we made bets. She said to me ‘are you sure you don’t wanna place a bet?’ Bless her. It feels so surreal!

Congrats ladies! Can I ask how much your gender scans were? Still trying decide whether to book one or hold off for the 20 week scan 😅 I'm 16 weeks this Thursday so could go anytime from then

@2020mission my scan was £59 with window to the womb. I was able to take my daughter in with us which made it special and we had a peak in 4d.

I have to say our pictures are awful. The 16w I had with my son were fantastic but this time they were awful. Not sure if baby was in an awkward position or not. We did get to listen to the heartbeat which was fun.

Me and my husband went in and then we got confetti cannons for my son to open at home 🥰

@tuxedocat mine weren't the best either. Baby was facing my back but we had a good few shots of her spine. That will be fun for your son to do

@tuxedocat I'm feeling ok thanks. And a late night last night. Went to a gathering for my brother in law. It was lovely. If you all read the newspaper etc you would of heard about him. It was lovely. How are you. And thanks so much for asking ❤️

Congratulations everyone on finding out the sex of their little ones.
We went for a reassurance scan yesterday booked it last minute as had a lot of cramping. We weren't planning on finding out the gender but had already seen a few flashes on the screen so she asked if we wanted to know. We made a spur of the moment decision and said yes! It felt like such a surprise as wasn't a planned gender scan. The sonographer was lovely. Baby was facing down though so didn't see much of him to be honest but we were thrilled!
We are expecting a baby boy😁. This is our first x

I’m doing ok! It’s my birthday today but my little boy has been a bit poorly so other than we are doing ok. I finally have my 16w MW Appointment tomorrow it feels like a lifetime I saw her!

Happy birthday @tuxedocat! 🥳 hope your day has been ok despite your little one being poorly. My 16 week appointment is this week too but not until Thursday. I'll be gutted if I leave that appointment without my NT blood results or a doppler listen 😅 I have no access to any maternity notes either I just feel so detached from maternity care!

@2020mission how comes you have no maternity notes? When did you do for blood test for NT? I got my results on Saturday

@jade0881 I think it's cause I'm in Scotland and they do it differently? They took my bloods right after my 12 week scan and said they'd call within days if there's any issues. After a few days and no calls I assumed my risk is low and I'd be getting a letter through but it seems the done thing here is don't tell you anything unless it's bad. Surely we have a right to see the risk ratio even if low??

They never gave me any notes away after the scan and 12 week bloods. I was handed a big brown envelope (assuming it was notes) after my scan but the next midwife who took my bloods, blood pressure, height/weight took it off me and never returned it. They haven't given me any app to access digital notes either.

My 16 week midwife appointment this week is not at the maternity hospital I was at for the scan and bloods, it's a local small local outpatient location with a community midwife so it's unlikely she's going to have the folder of my notes that the maternity hospital had 🤔 I'm praying they have digital notes! Seems so disorganised here (Glasgow).

If I leave my appointment on Thursday without results do you think it's worth calling the phone line for the maternity hospital and asking? I don't want to hassle then but I just want to know!

@jade0881 Sorry missed your question on when, my NT measurement and bloods were taken on the 17th June.

@2020mission I think you should contact your GP and ask them or speak with your midwife. I think they should at least let you know what the numbers are.
