Hi all
Thought I would share my pregnancy with everyone and have a thread so we can all talk.
So I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. Still early stages. Baby is due December 28th...

@jade0881 they said if I don't hear anything all is fine and they will be in touch if anything is wrong. They didn't give me a time frame though so been feeling a bit anxious on if I'm in the clear with them or if they've just not come back yet. I got midwife next week at 16 weeks so I'll assume she'll know then.

@jade0881 it's been 2 weeks for me and I've still not heard anything! It's annoying isn't it? Surely they can at least post a letter with the ratio result even if it's not high.

@2020mission yeah I agree hun. Then at least it puts our minds at ease

I am having a horrible week, feel like everyone is out to upset me this week, I am so emotional! I have my gender scan on Saturday so thought I would be excited and so so happy leading up to it but I just cant stop feeling so emotional and moody! Please tell me someone is on the same page!!

@LAR96 I'm exactly the same. Started last weekend been so grumpy and emotional over any little thing. It's horrible

@Curlymam88 its bloody horrible isn't it! I just want to curl up in a ball for the foreseeable until I cheer up!

@LAR96 I find it comes and goes. I'll feel moody one day then the next I'll be okish, then back to feeling crap again. I tuck myself away somewhere and look online for baby stuff.

@Curlymam88 bless you!! Ive been sat in my office this morning with tears in my eyes LOL!
I have the cot delivery tonight, I'm excited! Not sure whether its too early to be buying it! x

@LAR96 ohhhh that's exciting!!! Something to look forward to! Ive said I'm going to wait until after 20w scan until I buy stuff. But it hasn't stopped me browsing and screen shotting the ones I fancy! I also bought a doppler during one of my down moments which should be coming this week.

Aww @LAR96 I'm sure that's normal. I've been feeling ok so far it's actually my husband that seems to be irritable and emotional lately which is testing my patience. It should be me if anyone 😅 I haven't bought anything other than a little baby grow and bootsies so far. I'm holding off until the 20 week scan. I'll probably regret it as I'll have everything to buy at the last minute!

@Curlymam88 Yes I thought it may cheer me up, gonna pop it in the spare room with some other bits I brought which are just some baby grows, then when I'm feeling down I can just go and have a look haha!
I was tempted to buy a doppler but would hate to try it one day and not find a heart beat and panic, I would probably have it glued to me haha! I may change my mind, let me know how you get on with it :)

@2020mission hahah poor you! I am probably driving my partner crazy haha! I cant wait to be past the 20 week mark! 4 weeks to go :D x

Hello ladies well seems like your ahead of me I have bought O so far -but with working every day coming home and feeling super tired I haven’t had the energy I just look at all the exciting bits online my mom on the other hand has bought me a few bits which I’ve put in a drawer -years ago my mom told me you should never have a pram ( is that we call it these days?) delivered until baby is born I might even do that 🤷🏼

I feel you all on the emotions. Yesterday I was so tired, so upset and overwhelmed with everything and my toddler was being an absolute shit 😂

Today is a better day. I’m hoping to buy a little baby gro this weekend, but we don’t have much to buy to be honest. We already have most - but I’m hoping I’ll be able to buy some nicer bits, and I actually went through the clothes we kept from my son which was less than i thought so that’s something!

I’m tempted to buy a smaller, lighter pram as a treat but I’m not sure yet.

I also think I felt some movement last night, not a flutter but quite defined, it was only a one off but it certainly made my night better.

@JW2021 yes there is some superstitions about not having the pram in the house, we put ours up around 38weeks to get the hang of it but we have cats so I didn’t leave it up as I’d never have got them outta it!

That’s interesting you should mention about cats I have one - another superstition I think is they can smell babies milk hence the reason to always have a cat net over your pram - do they even sell them anymore ? in the USA all I can find is a mosquito net which does not fit a stroller! 🤷🏼

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat net! Mine never once jumped in with baby - they are much too noisy and unpredictable for their liking 😂

@tuxedocat I also feel you on my stepson toddler being an absolute shit!!! LOL

@LAR96 aren’t they something else sometimes? (Well tbh it feels all of the time lately!) I even cried at the dinner table last night I was so done in 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

haahha if we don't laugh we will cry!! he is normally ok, the past 2 weeks he has been a constant shit! I went for a drive with my dog Monday night just to cry , god I feel so pathetic LOL x

Hey, hope you're all ok. I phoned the midwife about the spotting I'd had over the weekend and I was really surprised that they booked me in for another scan which I had today. I was so grateful for the reassurance of it and relieved that everything was fine. Apparently i have a low lying placenta at the moment which she said could be causing the spotting but they will check it again at the 20 week scan and hopefully it will have moved up. It was amazing to see how much baby has grown in the couple of weeks since my last scan, there was just so much detail - I even have a photo which shows it's arm with all 5 fingers! We asked if she could tell what we're having and she said she can't be 100% sure but she thinks boy - which is what I've been feeling all along!

@burtle4 I'm glad they gave you a dcan and didnt just fob you off. Glad everything is looking good. I could see 5 little finger tips at my 13 week scan. I find the scans fascinating

@burtle4 ahh that's so lovely, I never got offered a scan when I was having brown discharge but suppose that's slightly different to spotting.
