Hi all
Thought I would share my pregnancy with everyone and have a thread so we can all talk.
So I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. Still early stages. Baby is due December 28th...

Anyone else???

When I had my booking appointment with midwife they took 5 tubes of blood... those blood samples came back clear

yeah thats perhaps why @Curlymam88.

If you had bloods at 8 week appt with midwife you will should have one tube of blood at 12 week scan which will just be the screening,

The bloods at midwife is to check Iron and hepatitis and all the other stuff they check for haha x

you have to have the downs bloods at 12 week scan because they have to be sent with the measurement of fluid from the sonographer to work out the results x

Ah I understand. I know they checked for thyroid and my hba1c for my sugars aswell. Good to see they're keeping a check on us all Smile

@jade0881 I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow, I was actually surprised she offered to tell me so caught me off guard. My DH said he wished I'd just found out, wish I had now 🤦🏻‍♀️ wondering if maybe she saw something 'obvious' 😂 I've been having boy vibes all along....

@LAR96 that's great news re your test results! I'm waiting on mine and hoping they don't phone and it just comes through the post as they say that will mean there are no issues 🤞

@burtle4 aww 14weeks how exciting lol... aww bless him he must b so excited too.. don't worry next time you can both find out together... it's funny coz I've been having boy vibes too as well as dreams 🤤🤤

@LAR96 have attached a pic of my scan today, saw everything so clearly, she was even able to point out the kidneys and four chambers of the heart!

@burtle4 aww look at baby's nose...I think you are ha big a boy just by baby's head shape. Much different to the scan I've had when I was pregnant with my girls. X

@jade0881 I know, such a good profile of the face!

We had to pay £5 for our 12 week ones but the sonographer kindly printed a few off and let me sneakily hide some in my bag today! I bet you can't wait until yours next Friday x

I had 8 photos today and I didnt pay for any of them Grin they didn't mention I had to anyway lol

Ladies also I have a question. When I had my booking appointment with midwife they took urine sample and bloods. I got results back yesterday. Bloods came back fine/clear. However midwife said that my urine was contaminated. This completely shocked me as I've never had this happen to me pregnant or not pregnant.
Does anyone know what this means?

I had to go hospital today and do another urine sample now I'm awaiting my results. X

@jade0881 it probably just means there was something in the pot before you weed in it or something fell in. Either that or they spilled it and just don't want to say 😂 I wouldn't worry, doesn't sound like there's anything wrong with the actual urine x

Hello ladies hope your weekend is going well. Quick question. Has anyone felt movement/flutters?
Last night just below my belly button I felt some kind of movement/flutter. I got so excited and my OH felt my belly where I had felt movement/flutter. He also felt something to. C

I'm 13 weeks now but I felt movement at just over 12. I'm usually laying back with my belly pointing upwards if ypu get what I mean? And I also feel movement when eating or drinking certain things. X

I'm 14 weeks Monday and I can definitely feel flutters every now and again ❤️
