Hi all
Thought I would share my pregnancy with everyone and have a thread so we can all talk.
So I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. Still early stages. Baby is due December 28th...

Anyone else???

Don’t worry I’ve got baby brain too! I almost locked myself out of my house twice today 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Yes I completely understand. I have a a 6 year age gap between my daughters. And when baby comes there will be a 7 year age gap between my 6 year old and baby.

@tuxedocat lol... I would like a boy to balance out the house hold as I have 2 daughters. But I will be happy with whatever I have as long as baby is healthy.. x

@burtle4 i’d say a boy for you...only because your scan pic looks exactly how my 2 boys looked in theirs...little rounded heads.
I think skull theory says that girls are apparently supposed to have a more rounded head in scan pictures but this wasn't the case for my 2 boys. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
A couple of my friends are pregnant with girls at the minute and their babies in scan pics seem to have more of a straight forehead that rounds off at the top of the skull.
Ah time will tell eh?...exciting times Grin x

I always thought girls had more rounded heads too but my sons was rounder, and my current one is flatter. Time will tell! I quite like this bit of not knowing! If I’m honest when I see people talking about nubs and the like I’ve no idea how they can see anything, even when the sonographer was telling me what was what I was like I’m so shocked at how she can tell. It really is an art

So exciting!

Any one had any brown discharge? I had a tiny bit this morning and have just gone to the toilet and there was a bit more when I wiped? Is it worth ringing the midwife? Should I be worried?

@tuxedocat Yes, i always thought this too based on skull theory but my boys certainly had more rounded foreheads and skulls in their scans. Like you, this time my baby has a flatter forehead that curves at the top of skull on 10 week scan. I’m curious to have another look at my dating scan on Friday Grin x

@LAR96 I’ve not experienced this myself, do you have any cramps etc?
I would definitely give the midwife a call if you’re concerned. It could also be totally normal though.
I never usually stress too much about most stuff as i’m so used to dealing with absolutely everything at work!! (Ambulance Technician) however i do feel i get really antsy when pregnant lol so i would probably be on the phone to midwife right now if i was you.

@WeeTeej88 no cramps or anything, I did have this before when I was around 5 weeks and she said it was probably implantation bleeding. Only had a scan Friday and everything was ok. How frustrating haha! I may just give a ring on my lunch to check.

We never stop worrying do we! haha

@LAR96 Well i’d say it sounds reassuring that you don’t have any cramps etc.
I know some brown spotting can be totally normal for some people throughout pregnancy due to hormones and increased blood flow so try not to stress too much, maybe just a little reassurance call to midwife. Flowers
I did have a heavy nosebleed last night which i’ve never experienced before...ahhh these pregnancy symptoms can change so much with each pregnancy eh Hmm x

@LAR96 I’ve had bits of brown it’s mostly old blood that’s been dislodged, if you’ve had sex or anything like that it can cause it. I had some bleeding post sex about 6 weeks and it terrified me.

If you’ve got no cramps and it was only a tiny bit I would keep an eye but call the MW if you do feel concerned!

I’m exhausted today. I need to learn to get to bed earlier as my son is waking up at 6am and it’s not joyful 😂

Not had sex or anything like that for maybe 6 days now, I cant be bothered haha!

I will just check with midwife but I think I am probably worrying about nothing :)

@LAR96 I wouldn't worry about it as you've just had a healthy scan and all ok, but probably a good idea to mention it to the midwife just for peace of mind. I had spotting throughout the first trimester with my DS and DD, just got used to it in the end as it would just come and go! I've been on progesterone pessaries this time round and not had any spotting which I don't think can be a coincidence!

@WeeTeej88 I used to get really heavy nose bleeds with DS, strange as it didn't happen in my next pregnancy or this one.

I'm now off to compare the skulls on my DS and DD's scan pics with this one 😂

I know the feeling, however he isnt getting us up early, just taking forever to get him to sleep at night! Joys of toddlers aye!

@LAR96 lovely scan ❤️ And yes if it eases your mind deffo worth it. It’s a rocky ride isn’t it pregnancy!
Oh gosh it’s HARD isn’t it. This heat has made things so much harder too. I’m almost glad of some cooler weather to try and get a bit of a reset on him 😂 it makes me take my first pregnancy for granted where there was no one else to really think of! Now my downtime is an hour on the sofa and even then I have to remind myself to get to bed early or I’ll be knackered like today but sometimes the peace and quite being able to watch anything other than paw patrol is too hard to pass 😂
