Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@penny92 oh my goodness that is so much to take in. I'm not surprised your head is spinning. I guess nothing you can do other than wait... but easier said than done I know!

Missingcoffee22 · 09/05/2021 21:33

@Pinkyp22 we share by pm just to keep it private!

Pinkyp22 · 09/05/2021 21:34

@penny92 that is absolutely incredible , I can imagine you are in shock , and scared but omg how truly amazing ❤️ sending lots of love to you

1986mum · 09/05/2021 21:39

@Pinkyp22 yes I must have done about 10 pregnancy tests last time 🤦🏼‍♀️ None of which put my mind at rest! Hang on as long as poss I just have zero patience x

@penny92 wow Triplets, congratulations , I can imagine the shock but Everything will work out in the end once you’ve had time to get your head around it x

Heymumma29 · 09/05/2021 22:28

Hi all, can I join in? Smile BFP last week, very early days as I think I’m around the 4-5 week mark judging by dates so due mid Jan Smile but super excited! This will be baby number 2, my daughter is 3 and about to start school in sept! Currently tired allllll the time and pretty sure my husband hates me as I’ve snapped at him about 90 times a day recently haha Blush xx

Heymumma29 · 09/05/2021 22:30

@penny92 Triplets!! I can imagine there is so much to get your head around, but how amazing to get to grow your family by three at once 😍 xxx

marnh18 · 10/05/2021 05:41

@penny92 omg thats amazing! I really hope all is well!! Try not to worry

Motherbride · 10/05/2021 05:54

@penny92 oh wow!! What a lot to take in. Are you okay? Do you have any other children?
I know it’s overwhelming now but I’m a big believer in everything happening for a reason and it will all work out in the end! Hold tight 🤍

I should have given some more info when I joined haha sorry! This will be my 4th baby.. making it 4 under 5 🙈 it was a total surprise and not planned, after the initial shock we’re now excited about it! We’ll need to get a bigger car and possibly move which is a bit overwhelming! Plus I’m really anxious because I’ve been fortunate enough so far to have no miscarriages etc so I’m not getting my hopes up until I see a scan! Will probably get an early one asap!

Anyone else here on their 4th?! 🙈

MrsFLongbottom · 10/05/2021 05:55

@penny92 wow that’s a lot to take in! Hope you’re doing ok? Has it sunk it at all? it’s amazing but I can totally see that would be terrifying. X

Buffyfan26 · 10/05/2021 07:13

Quick q if it’s ok, why are people doing another pregnancy test to see 3+ weeks with clear blue? X

BabyBunnyMama · 10/05/2021 07:39

Anyone else's symptoms coming and going?

I didn't have much in the way of symptoms until a few days ago then had been feeling really nauseous amongst other things. Since last night I have felt absolutely fine aside from being tired and have woken up this morning fine too. Not that I like feeling sick but it reassured me things are happening and now I'm just worrying a bit...

Motherbride · 10/05/2021 08:00

@BabyBunnyMama I haven’t had that this time yet but if it’s any reassurance I had it with all 3 of my other pregnancies and they all turned out healthy.. I think it’s quite normal. But I know how worrying it can be, you just want to feel pregnant all the time don’t you?!

If you have any major concerns always contact your midwife xx

Missingcoffee22 · 10/05/2021 08:10

@BabyBunnyMama I found last pregnancy and so far in this one that it comes and goes. Mostly I feel sick when my stomach is empty but then some mornings don't feel sick waking up. Try not to panic.. not everyone gets loads of symptoms/symptoms all the time, and we are all still quite early as well - symptoms tend to ramp up as the hormone levels do, until the placenta starts taking over.

BabyBunnyMama · 10/05/2021 08:19

@Motherbride Thank you - that's good to know you had it with all your pregnancies too. I can't remember if I felt like this when I was pregnant with DD.

@Missingcoffee22 Thank you! I'm not letting myself Google anything because I don't want to get worried over nothing but think I'm just over thinking it a bit. I'll just make the most of feeling OK while I do 😆

1986mum · 10/05/2021 08:19

@Heymumma29 welcome and congrats , I hear you on the whole mood swing scenario! I’ll be divorced at this rate lol

@BabyBunnyMama my symptoms are very much the same! I hate feel my sick but hate not feeling sick even more if that makes any sense! I’m pretty sure I was the same with my little boy he’s nearly one and I’ve still forgotten everything I went though during his pregnancy in such a small space of time x

HforHavana · 10/05/2021 08:28

I'm worrying as my boobs aren't as sore as they have been. Usually when I stand up of a morning it's like 2 bricks around my neck weighing me down, but this morning it wasn't. They are still tender to touch but worrying how much it's changed over night. Hope all you ladies are well xx

Heymumma29 · 10/05/2021 08:40

@HforHavana I definitely find my symptoms change everyday! One day I feel sick, the next tired, the next bloated, then moody, then happy, boobs like boulders, boobs normal 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 it’s never ending! Don’t worry too much if they aren’t consistent everyday xx

penny92 · 10/05/2021 08:52

@Missingcoffee22 @Pinkyp22 @1986mum @Heymumma29 @marnh18 @Motherbride @MrsFLongbottom

Thank you. I hope all your pregnancies are going well so far too.

Yes - its a lot to take in. We both really distracted ourselves this weekend by seeing friends. We've been weighing up pros and cons and what the next steps might or might not look like.

Ultimately, until the next scan we cannot do anything. Just got to hope that whatever happens, its the best thing for us.

And yes, this would be our first (second and third!)!

Symptoms wise. How is everyone doing?

I have awful morning nausea, and was sick for the first time last night which I think was caused by my pregnacare max tablets frustratingly. Boobs are incredible swollen and tender. I also keep getting struck by mid afternoon tiredness.

MerlinK4 · 10/05/2021 09:46

@penny92 what a shock! Your heads must be spinning.

Saturday was a write-off for me with exhaustion. Big respect to everyone doing this with other children to care for!

Nausea feeling better today, but not getting excited. Boobs feel horrible and getting frustrated with ordering and returning bras, anyone know of shops with fitting rooms open?

Ralala · 10/05/2021 09:58

@penny92 wow! No wonder you feel overwhelmed . That is a lot of information to take in. Taking small steps and seeing what happens is the best way to process it all.

@Heymumma29 got it. Sent you the link xx

DoesTheQueenOrderChinese · 10/05/2021 10:53

@penny92 wow! What amazing news.

@Missingcoffee22 @gigchic thank you for your messages. Smile

I am 6+2 today, I've been to the GP this morning who has prescribed me two types of meds to try and get my sickness under control. If it doesn't work within 48 hours then I'll be admitted to EPU with HG as I'm losing weight, high pulse and dehydrated urine (no ketones yet)

I hope you're all ok xx

LSW82 · 10/05/2021 11:06

@DoesTheQueenOrderChinese glad you have managed to get to the Dr, hopefully the medicine helps with the sickness you must be feeling terrible, take care & rest if you can x

gigchic · 10/05/2021 11:24

My word there's so much drama in this being pregnant milarky! You lot are all super hero's. ❤️. As for symptoms mine are coming and going although slowly day by day I feel like I'm getting used to them a bit so they aren't bothering me as much. My stomach cramps have pretty much stopped now which is nice.

I really hope everyone is ok and coping with all the over whelming emotions etc. I'm in a slump being a bit worried about my career this week but have to keep reminding myself that a family is more important for me (I'm 38 and this is my first). I think we are all going to have a rollercoaster summer!
