On my 3rd chemical pregnancy so finally been offered help. I can try again next ovulation and this time soon as I find out will be given the pessaries anyone had any success stories as I thought low progesterone levels are irregular periods but mine have always been fine? Is it worth trying again ?!

I had 4 mc and various tests which didn't find anything but for successful pregnancy I had progesterone pessaries from ovulation, clexane injections from seeing fetal pole on scan (circa 5 weeks) and acupuncture. No idea which one was the magic ingredient (maybe all 3!) but I wouldn't hesitate to try the progesterone. Good luck.

@Cafeaulait27 that's great news! Well I'm 7dpo atm just waiting a few more days to test ive already started my aspirin just incase and Roy said once or if I get a positive rest they will give me the pessaries. Also had my letter off specialist first lot of bloods on 25th may. Such a worry hopefully one day I'll be lucky and be worth it all. @MonsterJammin sorry about your 4 mc 😞 happy that it eventually worked out for you xx

@MonsterJammin what are the injections?

@charlotte0808 the injections are blood thinners. I used them from 5 weeks until approx 16 weeks with DC1. Followed the same programme for DC2 only used the injections for longer as I developed pre-eclampsia and the placenta failed for DC1 (prem birth, weighed 3lb).

@Cafeaulait27 great to hear you’re feeling confident about coming off the progesterone.
Like you by 16 weeks I trusted that my body could do it and I felt ok about stopping them.

I’m now coming up 21 weeks and having had a fabulous 20 week scan things are going really well!

I have my first consultant appointment later this month and don’t see the midwife again until early June.

I know this thread is a good 2 weeks old but how is everyone doing?

I did a search on here because a day 21 progesterone test to show if I ovulate came back low at 23nmol/l.

I know I’ve ovulated because I am now pregnant but that low initial progesterone is making anxious. I have already had 1 mmc with reduced foetal growth (though they did see a heartbeat). I have now booked an appointment privately for when I will be almost 5 weeks. Is it likely to be too late?

Hey @Sophiederuges I personally don't know about progesterone only what i have read. Stupidly I just assumed my progesterone was low that why I kept loosing luckily I didn't get pregnant again last cycle and waiting to see what my bloods show with the specialist 2nd June. Hopefully someone on here can help you out? 🤞 everything is ok for you x
