Nope. There was little difference in my symptoms with our boy and girls.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 14/04/2021 13:28

Had all the normal pregnancy symptoms with my four boys. No symptoms at all with the girl. Only felt pregnant at 25 weeks when my bump started to grow.

catchingzzzeds · 14/04/2021 13:28

2 boys, nausea with my first and hyperemesis with my second Confused

PopsicleHustler · 14/04/2021 13:28

Yes, I can always tell when I am having a girl because I am really poorly. I have had 3 girls
With my boys, I sail through the pregnancies. I have had 2 boys.

Boy next please lol.

Inmypjsagain · 14/04/2021 13:30

I’m having a boy and am still throwing up daily at 23 weeks. Was on a drip in the early stages from dehydration from too much vomiting. Everyone assumed I was having a girl because of that it’s definitely a boy!!!

InvincibleInvisibility · 14/04/2021 13:31

I had 2 boys and was sick every day for 9 months with both of them. There will not be a 3rd to test if a girl would make a difference.

(My mum was more sick with me than my DB but not as sick as I was with my 2 DSes nor my SIL with my nephew)

traveller11 · 14/04/2021 13:31

I hope so.
Feeling incredibly sick most days with this pregnancy. If it's a girl then we've already got all the 'girl' stuff from DD1.

However, gut feeling is this one being a boy.

ShrekandDonkey · 14/04/2021 13:33

I had sickness with both my DD's. Nothing at all with DS. So seems that way for me.

CombatBarbie · 14/04/2021 13:34

Nope 2 girls no sickness with either.

puppygalore · 14/04/2021 13:36

It was for me! With my boy I just had nausea til around 3/4 months. With my girl I was constantly very very sick until I had lost weight and my bump shrunk a bit around 5 months. Then my GP finally listened and gave me some tablets to stop the sickness.

Flappityflippers1 · 14/04/2021 13:37

2 boys - sailed through first pregnancy, had HG in second!

TrainWhistleChoir · 14/04/2021 13:39

No, I had morning sickness with my first (boy) but not my second (girl). Less lighthearted, there seems to be a link between an increased risk of miscarriage and not having morning sickness (I think to do with hormone levels), so I spent 3 months fretting over my lack of sickness with my second.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 14/04/2021 13:41

Very sick in first pregnancy, no sickness with second one.

Both boys

Hockeyboysmum · 14/04/2021 13:42

2 boys. Hyperemesis with both. Never had a girl so dont know how that would be.

Twizbe · 14/04/2021 13:44

For me yes. Nausea but not actual sick with my son. Nausea and occasional bad sickness with my daughter.

namechangemarch21 · 14/04/2021 13:46

Its meant to have a slight statistical correlation - like women with hypermedia are maybe 55/45 more likely to have a girl than a boy. But had to know. I had limited sickness on my first, which was a girl, and now horrific sickness on my second so I'm curious if its different because its a boy this time or if its another girl.

Goingtobeatwinmum · 14/04/2021 13:47

With DD, sick most days until about 16 weeks. No weird cravings until I wanted to eat loads of ice at about 36 weeks!

Second pregnancy. Could barely get out of bed, like having a sickness bug. Once again eased off and stopped about 16 weeks. Loads of food aversions/ weird cravings which was different to first pregnancy. This one is girl boy twins. Smile

Silverfly · 14/04/2021 13:53

I was much sicker with DC2 (girl) than DC1 (boy), so I thought it was true for me.

But then DC3 came along - I was even sicker and had a boy.

Salvationz · 14/04/2021 13:58

@mamal29 all my pregnancies have been filled with sickness and nausea and all girls x

Peachypips78 · 14/04/2021 13:59

No. Two boys and worst sickness of anyone I know! I think it's the level of HCG that makes you sicker?

Marcipex · 14/04/2021 14:03

Other way round for me...no sickness with a girl, desperate sickness for five months with boy.

mamal29 · 14/04/2021 14:07

Interesting! Currently suffering with hyperemesis and wondered if it meant a girl this time!

grandmasterstitch · 14/04/2021 14:10

I had one day of nausea with DS and so far (38 weeks) not a hint of sickness with this one and she's a girl. I think it's luck really

Moominmiss · 14/04/2021 14:12

Not for me. I’ve had 3 girls, no sickness or nausea at all. Now 17.5 weeks pregnant with a boy and again no sickness at all, just very mild nausea earlier on.

Salvationz · 14/04/2021 14:46

Not gonna lie but all the ladies posting who are saying they had no sickness with a girl, I’m SO JEALOUS x
