@Mosshead348 Oh I hope your scan goes well! Fingers crossed for you. I am booked in for a private scan at around 8 weeks, I'm a wee bit unsure on dates too so I didn't want to book too early. That's still 2 weeks away though which feels like forever 😂

Hxoxox · 20/04/2021 16:02

@sjhs86 I'm really tired and hungry but then I can be like that at the best of times lol. I don't have any other symptoms really yet. I'm 5 +1 I think! X

Mosshead348 · 20/04/2021 16:02

@Wakeupsunshinex thank you!! Everything feels like forever doesn’t it, but hopefully time will go in quicker when normality resumes a little next week 🤗 xx

Trollydolly1993 · 20/04/2021 16:38

@sair44411 OK yeah I'll get on that

Ow god I know it's so confusing how it's all dated isn't it that you were pregnant when you weren't technically pregnant and all that haha

No Been lucky really just soar boobs but don't want to speak too soon 😂 how about you?

Trollydolly1993 · 20/04/2021 16:51

@mrsmiddlemother OK thanks for your advice I'll chase them up also with being in Bedfordshire what hospital would you recommend as I have a choice and not sure what one to go to

wannabemum38 · 20/04/2021 18:17

Good luck with all.your pregnancies ladies. Unfortunately EPU have pretty much confirmed that I have miscarried. Scan on Friday will confirm. X

BrodieKD · 20/04/2021 18:39

Mamatoalittlebear · 20/04/2021 19:52

Hey! Can I join? I'm due (by the dates of my LMP) on 14th Dec so 6 weeks gone roughly. Second pregnancy. Already have DD who is 4. We were TTC all of last year and it almost destroyed me - the mental toll was horrendous. Put it on hold and started "living" again and bam, surprise pregnancy. Was so not on my radar, didn't test until I realised I was 10 days late for my period Confused Struggling to come to terms with it currently. I think Im in shock still and also very aware pregnancydoesn't always result in a healthy baby at the end. Miscarried before our DD. Any other second time parents not feeling the sheer elation second time round despite it being a very much wanted pregnancy? Is it nerves, the actual knowing of whats to come...or am I just being weird?!?

climbershell · 20/04/2021 20:02

I am so wiped out, went to bed 9.30pm last night, somehow turned off my 7am alarm rather than snooze and woke up 8:20, when I was already supposed to be at my first job! So was out the house in 11min and meant a super rush all day! Plus a 45 min walk home as had to drop my van in somewhere and had no time to go home and put my bike in the back first 🤦‍♀️

But, in good news I've reached it to 6 weeks! So MC rates down to 5% now! And my little baby is now blueberry size 😍

I really want a little boy!! Tho if I have a girl I'll be happy and she'll be a bad ass adventure little girl!

jengrosve · 20/04/2021 20:10

Hi @Mamatoalittlebear. Congratulations!
I totally and completely understand what you mean about being a second time parent. My son is nearly 3 and a half so the memories of months and months of sleepless nights are still very much in my mind. I am excited but I’m also wondering how I’m going to cope with the utterly bone-crushing tiredness of the newborn stage now that I’m 4 years older and don’t have the luxury of ‘sleeping when the baby sleeps’ as I’ll be entertaining a 4 year old!

Horehound · 20/04/2021 20:11

@wannabemum38 I'm so sorry. I hope you have a great partner to take care of you. Flowers

Hi everyone, please can I join?

I'm due 10th December! IVF pregnancy and super anxious.

I had some brown bleeding at 5w5d and went to EPU who scanned me and said that I have a haemorrhage in my uterus so likely where the bleeding was coming from. They said they could see my sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. They did suggest it's probably too early and didn't seem very worried but I've been an anxious wreck about it!

I've got my viability scan with my IVF clinic on Friday 🤞🏻🤞🏻

TakeYourFinalPosition · 20/04/2021 20:31

@wannabemum38 I'm so sorry Flowers

Hxoxox · 20/04/2021 20:33

@wannabemum38 so sorry 😞😞. Hope you are ok and have a good support! X

wannabemum38 · 20/04/2021 20:57

Thanks for your kind messages. I dont have a partner the father was my unsupportive unsympathetic ex partner who last night accused me of wanting a miscarriage.
I have told my mum now who can't do much physically but at least I can talk to her about it. Bit of a shock for her as not in a relationship and considering I recently told her having kids naturally for me was going to be hard its a lot for her to take in.

I went to Lister last time, and will be again as I think they were pretty good there. I've not heard good things about Bedford

Mumtotwofurbabies · 20/04/2021 21:10

Can I join please! I think I’m 5 weeks tomorrow, due date predicted Christmas Eve. This is 2nd baby as I already have a little girl who is 3. I am very nervous about this one as had 2 miscarriages last year...so hoping this one sticks 😔. So far symptoms have been mild nausea and very very tired, I am overanalysing everything 🙈. I would like to book and early scan but at the same time nervous about booking one haha.

wannabemum38 · 20/04/2021 21:30

@MrsMiddleMother @Trollydolly1993
I am with Lister only been to the EPU who have been so good and the private clinic where I had a scan said Lister is a great hospital for maternity

Sperr · 20/04/2021 21:32

Hi all can I join please! I’m 7 weeks on Thursday- due 9th December!

I thought I’d escaped bad symptoms but nausea is setting in hard. I’ve thrown up twice today but luckily I was working from home today. Not sure how I will survive the office . Anyone got any tips??

My sense of smell has gone so insane this week I’ve had to stop wearing my own perfume!! One wiff of a bad small and I’m gagging 😂. So tired and have been since about week 5 but I can cope with that.

We’ve been really good and still haven’t told anyone- not even family. People keep asking me though because of not drinking but I’ve managed to keep them off the scent with work related excuses (apart from maybe my mother in law who definitely suspects since I wouldn’t have a glass of wine with her today for her birthday!)

That's good, I'm glad you had good care there x

Firstbornunicorn · 21/04/2021 07:02

Hey everyone! Sneaking in at the back here with an EDD of 29th-31st Dec.

Feeling EXTREMELY nervous - definitely moreso than when I was pregnant with my son. Had some symptoms like enhanced sense of smell, etc, but they seem to have disappeared and now I am just bone-crushingly tired.

DS is almost two and is an early riser. Tried to get an early night last night but had to go over to my brother’s flat as he’d burnt his hand and needed me to bring him burn gel. Obviously I don’t mind, but I’m exhausted!

Is anyone else just stupidly nervous? I guess I don’t really feel pregnant and it’s driving me crazy.

tuesday2am · 21/04/2021 07:48

I’ve got my viability scan tonight at 7:15pm. I’m a bag of nerves! I’ve been spotting on and off (brown blood) pretty much since I found out I was pregnant, but yesterday at 6+1 it got a little pinker and freaked me out a bit. It’s gone back to brown now and hardly anything at all but I’ll feel much more relieved if tonight’s scan goes well. I just hope it’s not too early to see anything.

Exactly the same - just sore boobs and feel really tired most of the time!

It's so confusing and it's made worse that you don't really tell anyone this early.
I'm thinking about just telling a few people so I can ask them questions!

I still can't get my head around the fact that I'm pregnant to be honest Confused
