@d1ver sending you so much love and positive thoughts ❤ x

MushroomQueen · 13/04/2021 21:21

@sophierose77 I got that with both my previous pregnancies. I got a little one today getting out the car too fast on school run

PositiveParrot · 13/04/2021 22:02

Can I join please? xx

BrodieKD · 13/04/2021 22:17

Any tips for preventing stretch marks?

sophierose77 · 13/04/2021 22:23

@mrslewis2015 sorry you've been feeling rough but lots of symptoms must be reassuring !

I've got sore boobs, but if heartburn and tiredness but that's about it. Over thinking everything right now! Hopefully scan will make me feel a bit better on Thursday if all is well x

MushroomQueen · 14/04/2021 06:01

@BrodieKD I used I think it's called palmers . Mostly for the smell. Any moisturiser is good. It won't stop them but I found it helps skin deal with them. Mine are very feint now (I balloon in pregnancy ) having had my last almost 5 years ago. I'm now fat so I'm dreading my poor body after this one

TreeRoad · 14/04/2021 06:55

So I have my early scan later today. So glad it's here, yet dreading something being wrong. I'm only 6w1d so it's very early.

It's at 5.45pm so a long day ahead at work first. 😕

jdr1234 · 14/04/2021 07:00

Good luck @TreeRoad, let us know how you get on.
Mine is tomorrow. 🤞

Happythoughts91 · 14/04/2021 07:31

Hi everyone sorry for going missing. I’m a hairdresser so crazy times at the moment with coming back to work, and the whole of the UK wanting a haircut 😂

I’m 6 weeks today, and still no major symptoms. I’m tired come the evening and going to sleep about 8.30/9pm. But that could be just coming back to work after being off.

We have booked an early scan for next Sunday, so I’ll be 7 weeks 4 days. Xx

mrslewis2015 · 14/04/2021 08:23

Oh I’m sorry @jodielouise26 it’s a double edge swords symptoms, they are rubbish and you want to feel well, but they are strangely comforting too. Sounds like a scan will put your mind at rest and let you enjoy your magic low symptom first trimester! Sorry to hear of your loss, hope you are doing ok xx

mrslewis2015 · 14/04/2021 08:30

Good luck for your scan today @TreeRoad let us know how it goes!

Feel @MushroomQueen on the 5 year age gap and body stuff! I got HUGE with my first but was so big I couldn’t see the giant stretch marks on my under belly until I had her! They were crazy! But they have mellowed to a nice silver over 5 years and aren’t that noticeable now, but defiantly lots and lots of moisturiser and oil on belly’s as they grow to stop the itch!

Hope your coping with the long days @Happythoughts91 must be so demanding!!

Horehound · 14/04/2021 09:01

Good luck today @TreeRoad!!

Good luck @TreeRoad let us know how you get on.

Mine is tomorrow morning - also v nervous!

TreeRoad · 14/04/2021 09:17

@jdr1234 @sophierose77 @Horehound @mrslewis2015

Thanks guys! I think it'll be a long day today. I'm hoping my anxieties will calm down once they see everything is ok.

TreeRoad · 14/04/2021 09:22

Meant to add to the comment below that I'll update you all either way, especially with some of you having scans in the next day or so.

I always find some reassurance in other people's good news so hopefully I can provide that tonight.

sjhs86 · 14/04/2021 09:43

Hi everyone, can I join in? 😊

I’m 6+4 with estimated due date of 4th December. I had a MMC 5 years ago and haven’t had any luck since. We’ve done a round of IVF and we were waiting on our next FET when a little miracle happened naturally. Totally shocked but delighted!

sophierose77 · 14/04/2021 09:50

@sjhs86 of course - welcome! We have exactly the same due date :) how are you feeling? Many symptoms?

sophierose77 · 14/04/2021 09:51

Congratulations by the way - 5 years is such a long time to wait!

jodielouise26 · 14/04/2021 10:10

@mrslewis2015 yes definitely up for an early scan this time 👍🏻

Thankyou lovely; it's okay. At least I have something else to focus on now (trying not to be so anxious)

@TreeRoad wishing you all the best for today 🤞🏻

sjhs86 · 14/04/2021 10:23

@sophierose77 thank you! Congratulations to you too! I’m pretty much nauseous 24-7 at the moment and exhausted but I’m sort of in the camp of not quite believing it is really happening yet! I have my booking in session with the midwife tomorrow so after that I might book in for an early scan around 8/9 weeks for some reassurance. How are you feeling?

sophierose77 · 14/04/2021 10:29

@sjhs86 yes I have my midwife appointment tomorrow too. I've been feeling ok...no sickness (which of course I am worrying about not having!) but sore boobs and a bit more tired than usual....oh and some heartburn to add into the mix too! I guess everyone is different. It feels v early still. It's such a strange time because you can't see anything it makes me wonder if it's still there! Hopefully scan tomorrow will reassure.

sjhs86 · 14/04/2021 10:36

@sophierose77 I am worrying about every little twinge at the moment but just taking every day at a time. Although, how long do the days feel!? The weeks were flying by until the BFP and now it has slowed to snail’s pace 😂!

Good luck with the midwife tomorrow ☺️ Mine is just a telephone appointment so won’t get much reassurance but will be glad to speak to someone!

sophierose77 · 14/04/2021 12:20

@sjhs86 oh my the days go sooooo slowly, especially because I'm wfh all the time and there's nothing to do!! I can't imagine how slow 9 months is going to feel. Hoping that once through the first 12 weeks it becomes a bit easier?! It's my first one, so I have no idea!! X

mrslewis2015 · 14/04/2021 12:31

Congratulations @sjhs86 how amazing that this little one surprised you, I can’t imagine how amazing that must have been After your long wait! 👏👏👏

If I remember right, the first 3 months are so slow, the middle bit is the fastest time ever and the last 4 weeks last approximately 17 years. 😂 then the world turns upside down and suddenly you have a school kid with all the sass and jokes!

sjhs86 · 14/04/2021 12:54

@mrslewis2015 thank you!! 😊 It was certainly a big, wonderful, surprise!
