Hi ladies let me start by saying congrats 🥳 & the Lord is indeed great. I'm currently 4wk 5days & due few days after my Bday, Nov 29th. Got my bfp at 11dpo. Had a MC in jan so I am happy but still a bit anxious. I have my MW booking today. I am praying that this baby goes full term 🙏. It will be nice to share the journey with others that are around the 4-6WEEK mark p/s just to support, inspire and motivate each other. Im on pregnacare, higher folic & aspirin. Currently weeing alot, nauseous & tired. I pray as God has started these journey for us he will see us through and grant us all a full term health baby. Amen 🙏🤞❤

Congratulations!! Sorry to hear about your MC. I’m also 4 weeks and 5 days (according to my app) I got my BFP on Tuesday which was the day I was due AF. This is my first baby and first pregnancy so it’s still sinking in! I am really nervous about the possibility of MC though just because most of my friends have all had at least one. I’ve not really had any symptoms other than cramping before my BFP and now crazy dreams and appetite! Good luck to us both over the next 9 months!

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 10:37

@Goatgirl91 hey hun congrats 🥳🥳. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know lol. Your case is different to others, all cases are not the same. Yea I read symptoms may not be evident early on. I had so many symptoms during days after ovulation so I knew I was pregnant 🙂 just pray baby makes it full term for us 2🙏 just had my booking and they have booked my scan for wk 12. Gonna try call epu to see if I can get test done not to sure if I want an early scan as it may make me worry more if something like the sac or heartbeat hasnt developed yet. Lol.

Thank you! I’m so excited 🥳 that is definitely one thing I’ve learnt that we are all so very different and all get different symptoms. So exciting you have your scan all booked already! I’ve rang the midwives but I won’t get booked in until I’m closer to 8 weeks. It’s really difficult about early scans but I think I’m with you and it will make me worry too much. Besides I’d definitely want to see a heart beat Grin let me know if you can get a test done at the epu and how it goes Smile

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 11:07

Hey ladies!

Congrats to you both! Im 4wks and 1 day pregnant with 3rd baby 😀 I got bfp on 12dpo and really really excited to be going through this journey again! Try not to worry, easier said than done but worrying doesn't help anyone... stay positive 🥰.

Think we will go for early scan about week 7/8, we had this done last 2 pregnancies and just nice to have that extra reassurance whilst waiting on the 12 week scan that all is well!

Goatgirl91 · 26/03/2021 11:29

@Val098123 congratulations! It’s so nice that we can all go through this together! You are right at this stage there’s no point being anything other than positive 😊 how old are your first two?

I must admit 12 weeks seems like such a long time away!!

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 11:39

@Goatgirl91 I have 2 boys, eldest almost 5 and youngest 2.5 😀

It does seem like so long away but I promise it all goes by so quickly. Definitely try keep positive would be my advice and try not overthink every symptom. Everyone's bodies are different and have different symptoms, what's normal for you may not be for someone else. And enjoy it, this will be my last and I know how quickly it all goes by so in going to lap up this pregnancy and hopefully enjoy it... iv been really lucky with last 2 that they have been straightforward and never had any sickness etc so fingers crossed this one is the same x

CCG92 · 26/03/2021 12:13

There's a lovely thread on the go right now called 'Due December 2021 thread!'. A good mix of first pregnancies, people who have had a loss, and people with little ones already. Thought I'd let you know, we're all 4-6 weeks 🥰

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 12:30

@CCG92 thank you, will go have a look for it 😁

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 13:23

@Goatgirl91 hey hun. 8 weeks really. Is ur area always busy. As soon as they have some one pregnant they should support that person from the set go. Anyway 8 weeks will come by quick. Called epu but they said they dont do the blood test as a routine. They will only do it if I'm cramping bad or bleeding. Maybe I should say I'm cramping 🤣🤣. Hussle by all means necessary lol. I am feeling a bit of tension lower abdomen might just exaggerate on that abit loool.

@Val098123 welcome, thanks for joining and congrats 🥳🥳. Are u gonna book a private scan? Might book at 7/8 when all things should be sceen really dont wanna worry and go to early lol

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 13:28

@Lizbb yes I booked it this morning, will be 7.5 weeks at time of scan, I wouldn't book for anything earlier than 7 weeks. I have booking apt too, I will be 9weeks by that point then 12.5 weeks at my 12 week scan! I have been having cramping for over a week now, all normal don't worry! Only worry if you have bleeding x

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 13:29

I agree 12 weeks scan sucks. Lol. I also have a 5yr ds son and 3yr dd. I was on the pill but came off nov and fell pregnant in dec. I didnt even no till I was like 7 weeks but I dont think my body was ready cos I didnt take any vits or eat right 🙈. I pray that we all will have a safe and soup d delivery and baby will make it full term

@Val098123 did you have natural birth with both? I had natural with first but c sec with other cos of gestational diabetes so really on my healthy eating game now and fitness lol.

@Goatgirl91 how many children are u looking to have 🙈😂. After my first I said no more, had another and now third one. Children are such a blessing and a joy . Are u gonna consider a scan. If they book u in at 8 weeks will the scan be around 12 weeks than?

@CCG92 thanks for the info. I think I saw that and theres so much going on. Just wanted a thread that was for ladies closer to our current date so as to motivate and share each other experiences as we go along the way. Sometimes less is enough in these instances x thanks again

OP posts:
Lizbb · 26/03/2021 13:36

@Val098123 is it expensive to private book scan? Might do that as well. Was gonna try get blood teat to make sure progesterone was increasing but epu said they only do it if I'm bleeding or serious pain. 🤷‍♀️

No problem at all - just thought I'd like you know ☺️

Goatgirl91 · 26/03/2021 13:43

@Lizbb haha you gotta do what you gotta do!! 😂 I have no idea if this is normal to be honest, I rang my GP and they just referred me to the midwives. My GP surgery is notoriously rubbish though 🙄
Sounds like you are getting some good support from the outset, it’s just to have that bit of reassurance!

Oh goodness I don’t know, depends how things go with this one! I’ve always wanted the two I think but I might change my mind 😂. I definitely want a scan between 8-12 weeks, we are getting married in June and I want to tell people then. Here’s hoping I’m not obviously showing and can still fit in my dress!

Love how you both have two already, they all and will have such nice age gaps!

@Val098123 with you having two sons are you hoping for a girl for this one?

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 13:54

@CCG92 thanks hun ❤
@Goatgirl91 I feel the NHS and docs/gp should make a better service for first time pregnancies and first time mc and generally all pregnant people. I had my first mc in jan it was horrible it was google that made me aware of sooooo much. Although the epu were nice the only thing they did was give me a leaflet and said wait for 1 af before trying again🤷‍♀️. So as your not booked in if you had a question who would u ask obv apart from us lool.

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 14:05

@Lizbb no I have had 2 planned sections as my first was transverse (meaning he lay horizontal rather than vertical which can be dangerous if you go into labour). I really feel sad tho that iv never experienced Labour and would love to this time round but I'm confident I will be told it has to be a section as I have already had 2.

Private scan iv booked is £60.

Sorry to hear about your previous mc. I cant imagine how difficult it must be and not goof you dont get support for it.

@Goatgirl91 yes I would love a girl this time, although we are having a 3rd because we want a 3rd child, not purely because we want a girl so obviously happy either way but yes I would love the experience of having a girl too. I never found out sex with previous 2, but wondering if I might this time round.

Goatgirl91 · 26/03/2021 14:09

@Lizbb I am so sorry that you had to go through that and that you didn’t get the best support. Having to rely on Google can make things a whole lot more worrying so I completely agree with you. I think no matter what pregnancy it is, it’s still such an anxious time for us.

How were your other pregnancies?

Olivia80 · 26/03/2021 14:14

Hi, I am also 4 weeks 5 days after my final attempt at IVF (FET).
I'm 40, thought we were in for a life without kids (which weirdly we were ok with) and this pregnancy has taken us by surprise as we assumed it wasn't going to work, just like all the others.
So, day by day, we'll see how we get on.
Am currently suffering with headaches, really achy arms and am really uncomfortable - anyone know if this is normal?!

Goatgirl91 · 26/03/2021 14:21

Hi @Olivia80 congratulations!! That is amazing news, so happy for you :) I haven’t had those symptoms but the more you read on here the more you realise that everyone gets different symptoms! It certainly sounds completely normal to me :)

Val098123 · 26/03/2021 15:28

@Olivia80 aww massive congratulations! What wonderful news 😄 wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy x

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 17:42

Hey guys busy at work today lol. Anyone got any symptoms. My boos feel really full and hurt a bit and also getting twinges lol.

@Val098123 hey hun thanks it was hard but I thank God I have my partner here and aunties. Will book for a scan at maybe 8 weeks. £60 isnt bad ar all.
@Goatgirl91 thanks hun. Tell me about it. I'm happy but a bit anxious and nervous. I keep checking down there but its cm 😂. Cant lie I've learnt loads but still alot to fear. The Lord is in control 🙏

@Olivia80 hey hun congrats 🥳 and welcome. So happy for u. I was itching under my c sec line the other day. I think cos things are expanding it can cause itching like when something heals. Maybe lol. Do you know if your having twins

Lizbb · 26/03/2021 19:59

@l16bxt hey hun welcome and congrats. So are u doing a private scan? Pray that goes well 🙏. Will this be your first one. I might book a scan for 8 weeks as you said for assurance.
