Af late!

as the title says my af is now 2 days late. I am like clockwork since coming off contraception over 6 months ago so this is strange for me. I've had a few early pregnancy symptoms the last couple of weeks and I did test at 14dpo which was negative (may have been too early) I am petrified to test again now my af is actually late. has anyone had negative tests before af was late and went on to have bfp? thanks x

I had negative tests until I was 1 day late and then it was a very faint positive. I am now 15+6! Good luck

so there's still hope! I don't know what it is I just can't bring myself to test because I know sometimes if your like clockwork you can be a few days out - congratulations on your pregnancy I hope it goes well! 😊

I had almost 2 weeks of negatives after my period was due. Son is a healthy 8 year old 😅 12 week scan put me back 2 weeks so must've ovulated right before my period was due! Xx

that's so crazy! its mad how different everyone is even though we all go on the suggested time frame x

I've literally just posted a similar thread - I'm 5 days late (regular as clockwork normally) but have done 2 tests, 2 days apart and both are BFN! still no sign of AF though!

I'm hoping for positive news for you too! fingers crossed 😊 its just so strange isn't it, with my first 2 I didn't test till the day af was due and about 4 days after just because I was late, this time I've seemed to do nothing but symptom spot! xx

No not yet. Wasn't sure if it was too soon for that so thought I may wait a few more days and if still no sign of AF, then book an appt. X

I'm sure I read somewhere that they class it as late 7 days or over, but I did manage to get in before at 4 days late to have bloods done, I suppose the longer you leave it the better the chance! x

I did this initially, it's so hard having the patience isn't it!! Hopefully you'll get a BFP with a FMU!

it really is! let me know how you get on with your testing, I'm going to leave it until Monday now and buy a fr to see if AF hasn't appeared x

Hey! Also 5 days late and so far just getting BFN. The last few days I've felt nauseous and my tummy feels tight like it's preparing itself (I already have a 3 yo son). I've been using cheapy sticks which worked before but nothing yet this time. I'm really hoping for a BFP soon, got my fingers crossed for all you ladies too!! x

hey! ah it's so frustrating isn't it, I've had nausea too! pain on right side by hip then switching to left sometimes (like a tugging stretching pain) and the vains in my boobs are just ridiculous, I hate this waiting game, hopefully we get our bfps soon! sending good luck your way 😊 x

AF is still a no show, now 7 days late and still no BFP! I've ordered some clear blue tests as the cheapy ones I have (which worked with my son) seem to have had real bad reviews lately so I'm wondering if it's a bad batch....

Anyone else had a BFP? I'd love to hear some good news right now! x

@mlt93 I am currently getting BFP on frer tests only but BFN on the pound shop cheapies. Get yourself a frer and let us know how you get on. Good luck x

fx for your bfp on the clear blue! I tested fmu yesterday on a cheapie from tesco, freedom I think they're called, but bfn still, 4 days late now which is just so unusual and symptoms are progressing too, same I'd love to know if anyone else has had their bfp! x

congratulations on your bfp! 😊 I have tested on frer at 14dpo but negative, maybe too early? didn't use fmu either! the freedom £1 I have atm have got really bad reviews of giving false positives and I had a clear negative so maybe they're just rubbish all round! Will be purchasing a frer next week some time I think x

how is everyone? has anyone had their BFP yet? I've tested today on a clear blue ultra early test and it was neg, although the test colour was all over the place, it looked nothing like it did on the picture. I'm so confused, 5 days late now, I have a blood test booked in for tomorrow, I just want to know now so I can move forward! x

fingers crossed that you have a late implanter! hopefully you'll get your bfp sooner rather than later, but i know what you mean I just want an outcome now, please let me know how you get on! 😊 my test I have taken has turned to a faint positive. not sure if its cos its been left for too long? I looked around 5 mins after taking it (I must of only looked at it a minute then just thought ah negative) I'll post a pic below!

I'm feeling so rough today. Glad my little man just wants to sit and play play doh today!! 😂 x

I didn't take either with fmu as was up and out early for school run today and grabbed them on the way back, I took the second one about an hour and a half after that one above, I should really stop being so impatient and just wait till fmu, very worried its an evap line, overthinker is my middle name lol!

I don't think it's an evap line!! It has colour to it!!
Here was mine which I wondered if it was an evap... now here 19 weeks!! Eeeeek keep us updated !! Xx
