Brown discharge

Hi I'm 7.2 weeks pregnant with #2 and since yesterday I have been having small amounts of brown discharge please tell me this is normal? I lost our first baby at around 8/9 weeks and don't remember having anything like this with our DS who is 5 years old. I am preying everything is fine

Have you had any pains along with it? If your worried you should speak to your gp they could put your mind at ease xx

I've just had cramps similar to when I'm about to have AF... my GP didn't care :( I get that I'm only 7 weeks but I'd of thought they'd offer some assistance.... needless to say I'm now registering somewhere else x

Hi all hope you don't mind me jumping in with you ladies as It sounds all to similar but I think I've gone a step further.
Tearing myself up as my brown discharge started Friday night and it's gone to pink and red not heavy I'm just wearing a thin pantyliner but every time I wipe it's there. I've had slight cramps today that went as quick as they came.
Waited all weekend to call early pregnancy unit for them to tell me I'm too early so I'd need to wait 2 weeks do a test and if it's positive to get back in touch. So like u ladies I'm checking every time I'm at the toilet to see if it's stopped. I only had very slight nausea occasionally and tiredness so it's hard to tell if the symptoms have gone.
Hope ure all feeling ok. I just hate the unknown.xx

@DizSquiz sorry to hear about your gp, some of them are no good at all. I will honestly say don't worry as the cramps could be everything stretching down there as long as they are not too bad to handle. I still get cramps now my self. Please keep me updated xx

@cdmum9 hiya, with my son who is 5 now I did bleed around the 7 week mark as long as there is no clots in the blood then hopefully everything is fine. My symptoms with this pregnancy started off at around 5 weeks then slowed down around 7/8 weeks (which of course makes us anxious esp after me having the brown discharge) and now they have well and truly picked up with the morning sickness. I honestly think its terrible how they can say it's too early to check. Have you had your booking in appointment? If you have speak to your mv help put your mind at rest xx

@Starfish25 I've not had my appointment as I'm too early only about 6 weeks. I had implantation bleeding with my 6 year old so I was holding onto that but I did pass some kind of tissue of some sort which is scaring me as I've not had that before but my partners hooding onto the fact that others can pass part of their lining etc and go onto have a normal pregnancy it doesn't look like a clot from what I've looked up it's just a waiting game now. Anybody else also had that and gone onto have a normal.x

Just wondering how you all got on after suffering with the brown discharge? I'm suffering with it right now currently 5+3 had it for 3 days so far, very scary but gp and epu reassure me everything is fine, can't go for a scan until week 6 they say. Thank you

Hi, sorry I've only just seen this. Everything was fine i went on to have a healthy pregnancy my little boy is now 12 weeks. I think it was just old blood passing through. Scary when your going through it. How are things at the moment? Xx

I'm still having it daily when wiping, went for early private scan yesterday at what medical professionals call week 6 even though I'm 4 weeks post conception so they couldn't see anything possibly too early but going to EPU Friday to find out whats going on. I'm just so confused to what's going on, pregnancy test still positive, still having all symptoms of pregnancy (nausea sore breasts bloated etc) so not sure how to feel really! Thanks so much for replying :)

I'm panicking, just wiped and had a small amount of dark brown blood appear on the tissue :( is this the beginning of another miscarriage 😭
