Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@Nnovember Yes I am I am! Hungry after every meal! I'm also craving (and eating) absolute trash Confused Usually eat so healthily but now all I want is plain beige processed carbs... keep forcing down green smoothies to compensate!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 06/03/2021 18:55

squid this was me today. Woke up feeling a bit ill so forced down a small bowl of porridge, all good. By 1pm I'd eaten half a dozen bacon rashers, a peanut butter and jam sandwich and a McDonald's meal Blush. It's really not like me, just went with it but, er, the weight gain won't be fun if this carries on Grin.

@squidlady I can recommend pineapple, avocado & coconut milk, if you like a pina colada...
I keep getting a fancy for something salty so I’ve bought myself a multipack of mini bags of pork scratchings 😂

Maya000 · 06/03/2021 19:04

@Nnovember I am actually the opposite this time round. I don't have much of an appetite. With my first nothing filled me up I was eating all day. I gained 5 stones Shock

MissDaniB · 06/03/2021 19:19

I’m hungry all of the time! I’ve been waking up at 1am starving 😂

Maya000 · 06/03/2021 19:21

@Honey2 Congrats to you too! And thanks for sharing your experience! X

Nnovember · 06/03/2021 19:35

@squidlady and @MissDaniB glad to know i'm not alone! I don't remember this happening with my last pregnancy, but i'll take this over nausea. Although maybe it's too early for nausea to kick in just yet.

MissDaniB · 06/03/2021 19:46

I’d had my dinner by 5:30 tonight as I just couldn’t wait 😂

The reason I took a test on the day my period was due was how hungry I’ve been and the amount I’ve been peeing lol

CaliRanch · 06/03/2021 19:48

I also can’t stop eating! Also feeling the stretching and the aching and getting tired mid afternoon.

There’s another thread you’ll find more of us on called November 2021 Babies

Jaym78 · 06/03/2021 19:50

I'm the same only time the nausea settled is if I'm eating . In all honestly I hope I'm not speaking too soon but yhe nausea has beenanageable at the min x

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2021 20:15

I saw something mentioned on another thread and was a bit bored so thought I’d try it - turns out I get a WAY stronger line on a cheapy LH test than i do on a cheapy HCG test! Complete dye theft. 😂

squidlady · 06/03/2021 20:28

@AlackAlasAlackaday Ahaha, that sounds much like my pregnancy diet so far... earlier (having had a huge breakfast, lunch and two snacks) I told my husband I was going "for a walk" and went to the corner shop to buy two bags of Quavers (which I usually can't stand) and ate them secretly on the way home Blush The shame!!!!

Jaym78 · 06/03/2021 20:53

Hey @Sunbird24, aww we will have to keep up with each other . How r u feeling ? I just almost cried beciase my takeaway was late and I felt sick. Have u called the docs to book your 8 week appt yet ? X

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2021 20:58

I called the clinic on Tuesday but they haven’t called me back yet. I’ll ring them again on Monday. Have you booked yours? I’m thinking the week of 22 March...

Jaym78 · 06/03/2021 21:08

No not yet , I only got my positive today, tbh I think I've known about a week but was afraid to test as much as I wanted to see the BFP I had a miscarriage, over 12 month ago now so I don't want to start getting anxious bit today I thought im gonna have to test beciase im gonna start making plans. Im gonna call them Monday. I know its very early and probably a bit silly but im already looking at baby things . Does anyone know if partners can attend scans yet ? X

BlindMelon123 · 06/03/2021 21:17

Me! 7 November due date with our second!

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2021 21:26

@BlindMelon123 yay, another one for 7 Nov, there’s 3 of us now I think!

@Jaym78 I know what you mean - my last attempt was a fresh transfer after ivf, with medication, and at the 8 week scan it turned out to be just an empty sac. I had a frozen transfer on 19 Feb with no drugs, so hoping that means my body is doing the right things on it’s own this time. Yesterday was my official test day but I started a week before and got a really faint positive, so we’ve probably known about the same length of time. Don’t know about partners at scans, worth asking when you make the appointment!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 06/03/2021 21:33

Does anyone know if partners can attend scans yet ?

I got a scan letter today (all very efficient given that I live in the guts of central London with zillions of pregnant women) and if I read it correctly partners here are allowed at 12 and 20 weeks. Mine will be early April, all being well. Booking in by phone the week after next.

Aha, I just had a video chat with a clinician about repeating my HCG test and she was like 'your numbers are fine, you shouldn't have had a blood test in the first place, you've GOT TO CALM DOWN because you've got another 34 weeks to go!'

So I'm going to chill out now and do some meditation and try and enjoy being pregnant...

How's everyone feeling this Sunday morn? Smile

MissDaniB · 07/03/2021 09:46

I feel better than I have for a few days - tummy seems less bloated and I didn’t have any insomnia so I feel less tired! How are you?

Jax27 · 07/03/2021 09:51

Hello, due in November. First time mum after TTC for a year. Smile

squidlady · 07/03/2021 09:57

@Jax27 Welcome, me too!! Isn't it wild seeing a second line after a YEAR? I couldn't believe it...

Jax27 · 07/03/2021 10:00

Yes it didn’t feel real at all, 6 tests later, I just couldn’t believe it. I’m over the moon, but also very cautious and a bit worried that something may happen. Trying to stay positive though and it’s nice to read all of these posts, giving me reassurance I’m not the only one having certain symptoms. Nice to meet you Smile xx

AlackAlasAlackaday · 07/03/2021 10:16

That’s lovely jax, wow!

Hannahb26 · 07/03/2021 10:58

@Jax27 and @squidlady it is the best isn't it! I had all these lovely plans about telling my husband in a really surprising way and I ended up shouting at him from the toilet telling him to come and look at the test because I couldn't believe it! 😂 symptom spotting every day is hard but we've just been waiting for so long. Got my booking app on 17th on the phone so looks like I'm going to have to wait for 12 weeks for a scan - never wanted time to pass so quickly in my life!
