Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

Wondering if watching people cook vegetables on Masterchef counts towards my 5 a day... 😂

Nov21 · 11/03/2021 21:10

Sooo glad we’re all doing the same haha
Carb club!

ktypage · 11/03/2021 21:31

It’s been potatoes for me!! I’m the same, anything healthy is an instant no. I had mushrooms and chips for tea tonight Grin I mean, what?! Haha!!

ktypage · 11/03/2021 21:32

Also for some reason my phone has posted under a different name, I must have signed up during my first pregnancy (MMC)- I’m bookwitch13!

Tina8800 · 12/03/2021 08:30

@Kayeyeem No, it is very early so they won`t be able to see much and unfortunately, early mc is very common.
That is why they suggest only test 1 week after the missing period. I tested 2 days after my AF (15DPO) was late, only because I had a mc in November (week8) and since I got my period around 11DPO; so I wanted to find out the reason for the delay.
I am devastated but looks like this one just not meant to be. I will keep trying until one sticks. :)
Good luck to you all! Take it one day at a time, enjoy being pregnant and do not worry about tomorrow! I wish a healthy pregnancy to you all!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 12/03/2021 08:35

Wishing you well tina, I'm very sorry x

Hi everyone can I join?

I'm 12dpo today and just found out I'm pregnant. Trying not to freak out as I've had a loss at 20 weeks so will be consultant led. Haven't told a soul yet, not even dh

My due date is 25th November. @HLMx you're very close to me in edd! How are you planning on telling you OH? Any ideas will be appreciated.

HLMx · 12/03/2021 09:39

@Mysleepingangel hoping things go better for you ❤️

My OH is big on gaming so I have a little baby grow which says player 3 loading and a fisher price game controller 🤭 I'm going to make him a save the date card and on the inside draw the calendar month for November then circle the edd. I'm going to pop it all into a box, along with the test sticks, throw it all in my rucksack and head out for a walk to the spot where we got engaged and then hand it over 🥰❤️

I also had another idea yesterday when I was eating a kinder surprise. Opening one up (carefully) then replacing the toy in the little yellow pod with a note saying 'i'm pregnant' or something similar. Then resealing it and handing it over 🤭 super cute.

Mysleepingangel · 12/03/2021 09:53

Thank you @HLMx

Aww that's so cute!

Its been really hard to keep it away from him since yesterday but allh my symptoms now make sense.

I've gone very basic and left the test in the bathroom 🤭 let's see if he sees it!

MKe21 · 12/03/2021 10:10

Morning all. Tentatively joining. I've been reading but been too nervous to join. This will be my second baby, my first has just turned 2.

I'm still not due AF til tomorrow so guess I am 3+6? Had a CB digital 2-3 this morning and have progressing strong positives on FRER.

With my first I had no idea how common it was for things to go wrong and I was blissfully unaware. This time round I'm very much aware and feeling so so anxious. I have no symptoms at all other than yesterday I couldn't eat my porridge as it made me gag so switched to toast.

No sore boobs, no sickness, feeling a bit more tired. Though last time I don't remember feeling rough until about a week after AF was due. We were more not preventing than full on trying and didn't even consider I'd be pregnant as DTD outside the fertile window. I was camping during the second week of the TWW and body boarding etc so definitely don't think I was feeling sick or anything then. By 6 weeks I was bed ridden with sickness until about week 14.

I'm trying not to worry but can't help but feel nervous.

Cycles range from 25-28 days but going by an average of 27 over 12 months my EDD is 20th November.

Trying to take one day at a time.

HLMx · 12/03/2021 11:28

@Mysleepingangel that's brilliant, although can guarantee my OH definitely would not notice that 🤣 good luck. Hope he finds it soon x

Mysleepingangel · 12/03/2021 11:31

@HLMx mine did!

He told me a week ago that I'm pregnant so he sort of wasn't surprised. Just confirmed his suspicions 😂

DH is super excited but also scared like me 🥺

babynov · 12/03/2021 11:43

Hi there,

I have an early scan tomorrow - feeling nervous. Think I'm due 6th Nov.

Big sore boobs and morning sickness kicked in yesterday which is fun 🤢few cramps, no spotting.

First baby, conceived first month trying but have a few risk factors so bit nervous!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 12/03/2021 11:48

babynov I hope it goes well tomorrow. I have the same symptoms and they are reassuring, I guess, but so unpleasant. Bleurgh.

HLMx the babygrow idea sounds amazing!

HLMx · 12/03/2021 13:08

@Mysleepingangel ah no way he's so intuitive, how did he know 😲 my husband would notice if I went into labour in front of him 🤭 Ah so exciting for you both x

@AlackAlasAlackaday thank you 🤗

Mysleepingangel · 12/03/2021 13:15

@HLMx normally, my DH is like you 😂 when I'm pregnant, he goes on hyper alert.

Do you have a booking appointment yet? I just called my maternity service and she said to call next week as I've not missed my period yet 😦 I'm 100% sure I'm pregnant and have had 2 confirmation tests.

I think I'll just email my consultant instead

HLMx · 12/03/2021 13:36

@Mysleepingangel haha brilliant he sounds perfect.

I called my doctor's on Monday (11dpo) and they referred me to a midwife. She called me on Wednesday and booked me in for my first appointment with her on 21st April (I'll be around 9 weeks then.

I've not missed my period yet either, I am due Monday/Tuesday but like you I've had 2 positive tests. First one very faint line then second one very dark and instantly visible. It must be different rules in different areas perhaps 🤔 x

Mysleepingangel · 12/03/2021 13:56

Hi thanks for your reply @HLMx

The woman on the phone did say that we'd book you in asap when you call next week due to your history etc so I'm hoping to get to see someone in April too around 7/8 weeks 🙂

I'm still in a bit of a shock you know 🙈

HLMx · 12/03/2021 14:01

@mysleepingangel ah I'm so glad you said that, it's totally me too. I feel like I've made it up. I thought the doctor would call me in and check I was correct 🤭 but they're just taking my word for it. I wonder when it will sink in 😯 x

Mysleepingangel · 12/03/2021 14:12

@HLMx oh yes I am definitely in shock.

I think it'll take time to sink in, think my DH is the same as me.
What's awful for us is that we start worrying about things needing to be in place because of our high risk pregnancy. So I'm hoping I'll come around soon 🙈

Yh! I emailed my consultant and told him I've done 2 tests just to he knows and helps me get real too 😂

Do keep in touch please x
Do you have cramping?

Aisforharlot · 12/03/2021 16:36

My symptoms are reduced today, which scares me. Hoping day to day variability is a thing - last time I had constant sore boobs and crampiness til late in first tri. Less sore today and almost no cramp feelings. Hoping it's not over.

DizSquiz · 12/03/2021 16:37

@Aisforharlot hi , symptoms do come on and then ease. I wouldn't worry

Aisforharlot · 12/03/2021 16:39

Thanks @DizSquiz, I have the fear after a mmc a few years ago. Have allowed myself to get hopes up, it's so hard not to

Nov21 · 12/03/2021 17:03

I’m the exact same, boobs been less sore last two days to the point they feel almost normal and I’ve had no cramps since Tuesday, also less fatigued.
Only thing that’s stuck about is an icky feeling and being off most foods I usually eat.
I was tempted to call midwife today but decided to wait it out and see how I feel tomorrow
