It’s a little early but thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us due babies in October.

I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Anyone want to join?!

Hey @Crabtree 21, I'm in this re-scan two week wait too. Not going to lie, it's been hard not to think about it but bought a few new books to read when not working and that has kept my mind from wandering too much. I had a scan on Wednesday to confirm all in the right place due to previous ectopic. Thankfully sac and yolk sac seen in correct place but like you, need to go back to check all is progressing and hopefully see a heartbeat. My re-scan is on 17th. X

brokenheart013 · 08/02/2021 12:25

Just been to the loo,and pink/brown cm when wiping πŸ™†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ.The nightmare starts all over again Sad

crabette · 08/02/2021 12:59

@Bas27 I've definitely sent it, I promise! Is it definitely the email that you use to login to facebook? You should have an email invite that you accept the link on, before it shows up on Facebook. Maybe check junk? Let me know if you still have issues, I'll send it again just now just incase! x

crabette · 08/02/2021 13:05

@Heyfloyd Yep, we have set up a group called MN October 2021, but it is hidden and private (so we can keep our pregnancies a secret!) so you won't be able to see it on Facebook without the invite link. (PM either me or @PumpkinEverything with your facebook email address and we can send.)

There was already another group set up from here but they capped the numbers, so that's why we set this one up - the more groups the merrier though @MrsBlue1986! :)

crabette · 08/02/2021 13:06

Oh God @brokenheart013 β€οΈπŸ’” How far along are you? I know pink CM / spotting isn't always indicative of the worst happening! I can only imagine the worry though. Lots of love.

babybumpfor2021 · 08/02/2021 13:10

@crabette hi I haven't had an invite either. I am on the other fb page autumn girls 2021 xx

crabette · 08/02/2021 13:22

@babybumpfor2021 Hiya, it's an email invite that facebook sends out. I'm not sure if it goes directly into junk maybe? But there are people who've got the link ok and managed to join fine, so I'm not sure why some people are having problems, sorry! We just didn't want to make the group searchable to maintain privacy.

I think it needs to be the email address you use to login, and you need to click the link in the email before anything appears on facebook.

The only other thing @PumpkinEverything and I thought about was if we become friends on Facebook, we can invite friends directly through Facebook? But I think the issues seem to be if you don't have access to your facebook login email, or if your email doesn't match the email address you use to login x

PumpkinEverything · 08/02/2021 13:30

Yep think that could be a good workaround @crabette 😊 so anyone that wants invited or hasn’t received their invite, send us another PM and we can sort out being Facebook friends and inviting that way. Seems to be some technical issues with it, but we definitely want everyone in who’s interested so we’ve a good group of people to support 😊

SRyellow · 09/02/2021 11:48

Hi everyone,

I’m panicking a little, I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed some small streaks of red/pink blood. I’m 7 weeks. Has anyone experienced this?

Blessedbutstressed96 · 09/02/2021 13:03

@SRyellow I haven’t personally but I know many people to experience bleeds in pregnancy. Best thing to do is call your early pregnancy unit to get checked over. It could be nothing but best to get checked over xx

icecreamsundaesprinkles · 09/02/2021 17:36

Hi hope everyone is well been super busy with work so havent caught up yet. I think I am around about 5-6 weeks and I honestly feel very anxious about the fact I don't 'feel' pregnant does anyone else feel pretty normal at this stage? I mean I do have sore boobs but I did quite abit anyway and I am very tired but who isn't?? Maybe I'm just worrying a lot as I had a MMC last year.

DappledOliveGroves · 09/02/2021 17:51

@icecreamsundaesprinkles I'm constantly worrying too. I also had a MMC last July so constantly trying to work out if I have symptoms, if they're good signs, bad signs. Wish I could relax!

jules5232 · 09/02/2021 18:34

Anyone else barely able to stay awake in the afternoons? Me and the cat are on the same napping schedule.
Currently 5w+5 and had an early scan on Friday because of cramping and brown blood, but the scan showed all is in the right place. Too early for a heartbeat yet. Now just waiting until the next scan and my first visit on the 19th. I need a distraction...

AnnaE89 · 09/02/2021 19:40

Had a positive test yesterday and another today. I came off the pill on 31st December and had a withdrawal bleed starting 1st Jan...I think this makes make my due date around 8th October?! I don't know my cycle length as I've been on the pill for around 10 years.

Sorry, totally new to this and this is an amazing surprise so feeling very unprepared!! I rang the GP reception today and have a midwife appointment on 2nd March, are you meant to do anything in the meantime?

ttcSam · 09/02/2021 19:52

Hey @AnnaE89 have a read of the NHS website which recommends to definitely start taking folic acid, and also vitamin d.. if you aren’t already. Congratulations! Amazing that you got pregnant so fast after such a long time on the pill!

AnnaE89 · 09/02/2021 20:14

@ttcSam Thank you!! I've got some folic acid and Vitamin D on order! Yes I'm still in shock really, had some serious health issues with ovarian cysts a while back so I think I had just assumed it might take a while after coming off the pill. Don't really know what to expect now and feeling a bit nervous about things going wrong

ttcSam · 09/02/2021 20:25

@AnnaE89 Ah yes, the worry is most definitely normal. I am having to spend more time away the internet because reading about others having issues just increases my own anxieties. I keep asking myself β€˜.. but what if everything goes fine..?’, which is helping, for now at least..! I am assuming this is your first child? Have you had many symptoms yet?

AnnaE89 · 09/02/2021 22:16

@ttcSam yes this is my first! Mainly just sore boobs and some bloating which I just assumed was PMS but then my period never came! Sounds like a great idea to not read too much into things online and think positively, hope everything is going well for you!

LJM82 · 10/02/2021 06:59

Hi Ladies,
Congratulations everyone!
I found out a week ago today and think I'm 5w6d.
I did 3 tests last week all clear strong positives and I've been absolutely exhausted but I've got severe anxiety it's all going to go wrong. It's my first pregnancy and I've not miscarried before but I'm 38 so know there's a greater risk.
Waiting for my midwife to call and make an appointment and want to book an early scan but can't decide if now is the right time - but will they be able to see much so should I wait till 8 weeks?
I know I need to just take a chill pill and be patient but easier said than done.
Anyone else feeling the same?

So sorry to hear your sad news πŸ˜” same thing has happened to me unfortunately. Noticed a bit bleeding last night on the toilet paper and same this morning. Waiting for a call back from epu to speak to them. Knew it was common thing to happen but still so gutted πŸ’”
brokenheart013 · 10/02/2021 09:44

jonrik · 10/02/2021 10:18

I'm so sorry to hear your news @brokenheart013 and @Optimistic2021. How heartbreaking. Sending you lots of strength. Daffodil

Leonberger · 10/02/2021 10:21

So sorry @brokenheart013. I had a chemical a few months ago and it is so upsetting despite being early.

Really hoping for good news for you @Optimistic2021

Such a worrying time for everyone isn’t it!

Katie1109 · 10/02/2021 10:58

So sorry for what you're going through @brokenheart013, sending lots of virtual hugs x I've had 2 MC's so I know how difficult it is x be kind to yourself and remember it's not your fault x
@Optimistic2021 I hope it's just a bit of spotting and it will all be fine, fingers crossed for you x

How is everyone else? I'm 6+4 today and still not much in terms of symptoms which is starting to worry me a bit. Apart from slightly sore boobs and some occasional tugging and pulling down there I feel nothing else. I have a private scan booked for 8 weeks, but it seems like so far away still! What are your symptoms ladies? Should I be worried? After 2 MC's I think I'd rather be floored with nausea and tiredness if it meant I felt better about things actually developing!
