It’s a little early but thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us due babies in October.

I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Anyone want to join?!

@DappledOliveGroves not an option expert but I think they probably give different dates as it's not an exact science with different cycle lengths knowing when ovulation is exactly. I wouldnt worry too much about it, even with knowing exactly when ovulation was they changed my dates at 12 week scan with DS when did measurements. I'd just go with an average for now like NHS one to stop yourself stressing too much.

Thank you! I just want to know realistically when I can book an early scan and have a good chance of seeing something!

@DappledOliveGroves going by your LMP I would say you would be 4 weeks on Saturday, meaning you’re 3+5 today.

I use Flo, Premom and Ovia pregnancy for tracking ovulation and now pregnancy. My LMP was 4th jan and they all have me at 4+3 which gives me a due date of the 11th Oct.

Maybe try the Ovia pregnancy app and see what it says? I think the heartbeat can be seen at around 6 weeks so you’d probably want to book an early scan for 6.5 weeks ish, maybe even 7 if you want some wiggle room due to the confusion on dates 😊

Hi Ladies, so I’m 4+1, found out a couple of days ago. Done 1 frer and 2 clear blue easy to reads, I have my first midwife appointment booked for 3rd March. I had an early miscarriage in 2019, I can’t help but worry there’s no baby in there! All 3 tests are much stronger BFPs compared to when I miscarried.. how can I put my mind at ease?! I can’t work out if I’m nauseous, have heartburn, both, or it’s all in my head! Peeing like there’s no tomorrow, but can’t stop worrying!

@Moonstone12 sending love to you. It might not be the end yet. I know a few people from my first baby group with heavy bleeding in early pregnancy and their babies stuck in there.

@Aozora13 sounds like we are similar, mine is a self referral too! Gosh me too!! It’s so exciting but also weird isn’t it haha! We are thinking of booking an private scan for 7 weeks for peace of mind... Is it your first too? When are you due? I think I’m due 8th October!

I've also been thinking about scans and think I'm going to try to hold out until w8 or 9 to make sure something can be seen and it's at the same time as my previous MMC so it would set my mind at ease I think....

@Moonstone12 I'm so sorry, it's the worst and sending you lots of love and support. It might all be fine though, bleeding can be a number of things which is what makes it so stressful as well. How can we support you?

@crabette @Bas27 @Peachesavent the one I was in before was just called MN June 2021 😊 so something like that is very subtle! And then just make it secret or private. I think you can then invite people via email if they give their addresses over PM!

I can make it private - fb says that only members of the group can see who is in the group and what they post - though anyone can find the group.
