Congratulations Franny, hope you have a great pg.
I read your "don't tell ds he doesn't know yet" as don't tell dh!

FrannyandZooey · 29/10/2007 19:23

Oh, alittlebit, I completely know what you mean. I have also noticed my 'one child' friends all fall pregnant one by one....I hope it all works out for you. FWIW I think a big age gap can be a very good thing.

Thanks everyone and I am laughing at the way it does seem that ruty and I are having a baby together

I did actually wonder if Ruty was the name of your dp at first.

Sorry, Ruty, and many congrats to you too!

ruty · 29/10/2007 19:40

ah but Franny what a beautiful child it would be....

saffy202 · 29/10/2007 20:29

Congratulations!

I have a 5 year gap and they are best of friends

popsycal · 29/10/2007 20:35

Franny - I am much closer to my youngest sister (5 year gap) than my next youngest sister (under 2 year gap).

DS will be fine

threelittlebabies · 29/10/2007 20:51

blardy wonderful news franny - well done you

it's pretty much a year ago that i found out i was expecting ds2

oliveoil · 30/10/2007 13:29

congratulations!!!!

my friend had a 6 year gap (and then promptly had a 15 month gap but anyway...) and it worked out fine, her dd1 helped with dd2 and it was an extra pair of hands she said

I had 22 months and still have the scars to prove it

dooley1 · 30/10/2007 13:30

congratulations

Tutter · 30/10/2007 13:34

franny

my last word in our scrabble game was

quad

i'm psychic, don't you know?

Bewilderbeast · 30/10/2007 13:34

congratulations franny [secretly very jealous emoticon]

Jbck · 30/10/2007 14:18

Congrats we're having a 6 year gap & I'm looking at all the positives, of which I'm sure there are many. It's nice when someone says congrats & doesn't then go on about sleepless nights etc but how much of a help DD will be & how much easier it'll be without 2 in nappies etc. Wishing you a healthy & speedy pg.

FrannyandZooey · 30/10/2007 15:38

piss off Tutter

quad indeed

am cacking myself about multiples and stuff already, me being the older type of mother

NOW do you all feel guilty for pestering me about Scrabble games? My brain had melted because I was making a placenta
