I'm currently on day 2 of what I know is a CP. hoping to try again when the bleeding stops. Anyone else going through similar? I found a great thread but I was from June last year and not as active now xx

I’m sorry for you.. I might be going through the same Sad how did you know for sure it’s a cp Xx

EmilyG1989 · 16/01/2021 06:54

Oh I’m really sorry @LilmissCa. It started off light spotting for a day then day 2 it got heavier late morning until it was clear it wasn’t happening anymore. I’ve learnt that taking a test once bleeding stops should show a negative. If you bless longer than a week then speak to doctor. You can TTC straight away when bleeding stops. Most go on to conceive within the first 3 months and the likelihood of it happening again is very small. Let me know how you go hun 😘 xxx

Hi, so sorry to hear this, I had a CP lasr month. Had positive tests for a couple of days, tested again a week later and test was really faint. Tested with a digital and was negative which was awful to see after positives just a week earlier. Started to bleed that night, lasted for 6 days, a bit heavier than a normal period but not too bad. Took a while to get my head around it and so disappointed but have read a lot about it and how you are highly likely to go on to have a successful pregnancy. Currently in tww, ovulated as normal so keeping fingers crossed x

LilmissCa · 16/01/2021 17:19

I am ok.. should be 4w5d, bleeding very light today thought it was away initially. Been bleeding since Thursday .. light to medium. Did test yday & today.. today’s lines are very faint, sore boobs are gone. The waiting & unknown is the worst, I’d just rather know.. have a digital here so might try that too xx

LilmissCa · 16/01/2021 17:20

@Fruititoots sorry for your loss. Glad your trying again & good to hear the statistics xx

EmilyG1989 · 16/01/2021 17:55

Hi @Fruititoots so sorry to hear you've been through the same! I was the same too @LilmissCa 4 weeks +5 and bleeding since Thursday. Do you both have children? I have a one year old boy xx

I have my fingers crossed for TTW!! Let us know how you get on!
Try and hold out until the bleeding has stopped hun, I have a digital to do when it does too. It's awful, I loved the early tests with DS and it all went smoothly so I was so disappointed xx

I have a 2 year old boy, was the same @EmilyG1989 found out early with my son, didn't think twice about testing a few days early again!

I think it's easy for people to dismiss early losses but it's awful. Even though we only knew for a few days, we were so excited and it just ended so suddenly. I'm so sorry you're going through it too.

EmilyG1989 · 16/01/2021 19:24

Yea that’s it hun! I found out 5th jan and held out until 10th for digital test as that was my birthday which was positive, so told family and got a bit carried away xx

LilmissCa · 16/01/2021 19:35

Yes I have a 5 yr old son ❤️ He’s with his dad this weekend so I have all this time to drive myself crazy!!! I’ll give it a few days now before testing again. But yes I’d no worry’s concerns with my first pregnancy, I remember people telling me they took loads of test, I thought this was crazy... how little did I know! Xx

EmilyG1989 · 16/01/2021 19:55

Aw we all have boys 🥰 horrible we’re all going through this, please keep me updated on trying again xxx

OP posts:
Fruititoots · 16/01/2021 21:15

Will definitely keep you updated, trying to keep busy to pass the time which is hard at the moment when there's nowhere to go! x

EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 12:06

@Fruititoots so hard! How long have you been TTC for? What are you guys doing to keep the boys busy? Xx

OP posts:
LilmissCa · 17/01/2021 13:36

Yes so hard!! There’s only so much you can do at home!
I’ve got homeschooling for my little boy .. which keeps me busy as I also work full time from home... during the week is hectic!!
@EmilyG1989 what age is your boy?
@Fruititoots a 2 yr old is more demanding in lockdown, my boy can entertain himself for a certain amount of time lol xx

EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 13:39

@LilmissCa wow that must keep you busy! He's nearly 14 months so is a challenge, hard not to turn him in to a telly zombie 🤦🏻‍♀️ now walking to the shop, haven't left the house since Wednesday! I'm working from home 3 full days a week xx

Sorry to hear that @EmilyG1989

I had a CP last month, and it was so disappointing but I wasn't surprised because my tests weren't getting darker and it was barely showing on the cheap tests, but of course it's very disappointing.

I'm on day 4 of positive tests again this month and hoping AF stays away. Feeling more hopeful though as it's showing on digital and cheapies this time. I hope it's over for you soon and that you have better success next time xx

EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 13:44

@treesall thank you lovely, I'm ok about it. Onwards and upwards!
Wow congratulations!! Is this your first? Do let us know how you get on xx

I had a CP last month. I had a BFP and then started bleeding the following day, I was so upset... it felt like I shouldn’t be that upset because I’d only known for a day but I was so disappointed and sad. I had a normal period, a negative test when it stopped and then ovulated as normal. Actually got another BFP this morning 🥰 so feeling happy but a bit apprehensive.

LilmissCa · 17/01/2021 14:07

Congratulations @treesall and @RandyGiles06 !! Love that it all works out this time!! Great to hear you both got positives again so quickly!

EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 14:46

@RandyGiles06 you're bound to feel like that but congratulations! Every confidence this is your bubba ☺️ keep us updated xx

OP posts:
Fruititoots · 17/01/2021 14:49

Congrats @treesall and @RandyGiles06 that's amazing, hope all goes smoothly, must be hard not to feel anxious but I read this morning that 98% of women won't have a recurrent loss so your risk of having another chemical this time is really really small.

@EmilyG1989 We've been trying since August which feels like absolutely ages even though it's not really!

Finding it so difficult to keep the toddler entertained, trying to rotate his toys so he doesn't get bored, lots of cbeebies and house is a disaster! Really bored which doesn't help with the ttc obsessing!

EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 14:58

@Fruititoots I can relate to this SO much! CBeebies and toy rotation 🤦🏻‍♀️ poor kid, are you working at all?
They say a year but I planned to have September baby thinking I'd fall straight away... hopefully next month! 🤞🏼 it's such a long wait isn't it! Or feels that way with no distractions xx

OP posts:
EmilyG1989 · 17/01/2021 14:59

Am I right in thinking everyone has a BFP and hopefully @Fruititoots and I next month then 🤭
