Weord pregnancy test result

Hi,
This is my first time posting. I'm not sure if I can share pictures on here but I have done a pregnancy test that came up with a very faint positive result. It came up straight away and got stronger during the 3 minutes but I'd be very, very early if it is positive as I'm only due my period next week.

The suspense is killing me and my boyfriend is convinced that it's just a weird and incorrect result.

Should I wait a couple of days to test again? Does anyone know the best pregnancy tests to use?

I meant my tests might have been dodgy. Apparently FR are awful for indent lines being pink so I'll see. Will try again next month and take it as a big lesson learned if I'm not 🤣

@Lisakathryn just fyi that the cheap strips were extremely faint for me and certainly wouldnt have shown much before AF was due.

In general I'd recommend waiting until AF due - will give at least faint lines on cheapie and super clear lines on a FRER

If you've had a few pink lines on a frer I would say you must be pregnant.

I'm wary because I've read a lot about pink lines on FRER being indents. I'll just wait and see because the suspense is killing me!

Oh I can post photos. What do you think of this? I couldn't get a clear picture of the FRER because it was shiny and my camera wouldn't focus.

Looks positive to me OP. I used FRER lots when I was TTC and never once got any evap lines or false positives. The only time I had 2 lines was when I was pregnant. They're very sensitive whereas other tests and esp the cheap strip tests aren't as sensitive which could explain why the other one you did was negative. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean x

When a couple is trying to conceive, the egg often gets fertilized but is unable to implant properly. If the woman doesn't test she won't know about it, because her period will be on time or just a few days late. With sensitive tests, we are able to catch it happening though. This is called a chemical pregnancy. If it is what happened, take it as a good sign - you are able conceive. With a bit of luck next time it happens, it goes all the way.

OK, just to add to the saga... I thought I'd come on because I usually come on very lightly at the start of my period. However, it just stopped dead after an hour or so.

I thought this was weird. I've been SO tired that I missed new years eve and headaches/no appetite for the last few days. As well as my boobs being ON FIRE.

So today, I just thought I'd take another test, because everything was so weird. This second line, although still faint, came up within one minute. I think I might actually be pregnant?

The other ones I had to mess around with lighting to get a clear view of the line. But this one is unedited. I think I had implantation bleeding 🤞

I'd bet my house that you're pregnant based on the tiny bleed and those tests

That def looks positive to me. When is your actual period due? Get a digital test and do it when it’s due.

Let's hope it is positive. It looks kind of grey on that photo but it's definitely pink in person and came up within a minute. Let's hope. Even my boyfriend (who has been convinced that I'm insane since the first test) is thinking that I am now 🤣
