We're torn between the Bugaboo Fox 2 and the Joolz Day Plus, think we're leaning more towards the Bugaboo!x

Worriedandabitscared · 22/12/2020 09:15

We got given an icandy for free and I love it!

probablylateagain · 22/12/2020 09:16

Mine is 5 months now abs I have the icandy lime and regret nothing it's been amazing. Haven't used it as a seat vs carrycot yet but I would recommend

Queenbee95 · 22/12/2020 09:19

We’ve bought a My Babiie travel system, it looks lovely, hoping I like using it when baby is here

Oneandabean · 22/12/2020 09:20

Cosatto giggle quad. Haven’t had chance to use it yet (5 weeks to go) but it looks amazing and is so easy to use

Misstiffany · 22/12/2020 09:21

Ah nice all, I brought an icandy lime lifestyle! It’s still in the box but ah. Exciting times

We've got this too, looks amazing and very lightweight

Misstiffany · 22/12/2020 09:33

Just need to buy a maxi cosi car seat and the travel system will be complete :D

Would anyone be willing to say their pros and cons of having a pram vs a full on travel system and why they went for one over another? I'm not at the pram shopping stage just yet but starting to read up and my god it's a minefield!

Ideally you shouldn’t use the car seat as part of the pram as the baby should lay flat whenever possible.
Misstiffany · 22/12/2020 10:10

Tilda that is true so unless you drive or your partner drives you need a car seat if you don’t then I suppose no point in getting one

The joie I level lays flat and is compatible with the lime
Buttercupcup · 22/12/2020 11:38

I’ve got a bugaboo cameleon 3 which I love (fortunately so does baby!) we have actually used the carrycot for daytime naps downstairs and she has slept really well it. Live quite rural and it’s been very robust on walks around the country lanes. I have a maxi cosi car seat and the adapters and it is very handy to have for a quick pop to the shops/school run if baby is napping! Just got a bugaboo ant in Black Friday too as need something more compact for when I return to work for GPs to use (tiny car) and really impressed with that too if you need something tiny!

Mimiwish · 22/12/2020 12:01

We were trying to decide between the Bugaboo Fox and UPPAbaby Vista, but in the end went for the Nuna Mixx Next, which is a great all rounder, and looks really nice too. We anticipate we may need to get something for travelling/ hols eventually but for now, we're happy with the choice, and it did come with a whole travel system.

In the end, my partner just couldn't forgive the Fox for having two folds, lol. And that was the one decider.

Nat4392 · 22/12/2020 13:12

We’ve gone with the cybex priam and the cloud z car seat which lies flat. Can’t wait to use it!

CBhope · 22/12/2020 13:37

We got the silver cross pioneer 2020 (much lighter than the previous version) absolutely love it as I like traditional over modern.. the car seat however.. nightmare!

Misstiffany · 22/12/2020 13:44

@CBhope I think that was the one I brought for my DC1. It was so chunky and such a nightmare. Put me off buying another 😂😂

We were bought the Oyster 3. Baby girl is due in 10 days and I'm so excited to use it. It's so simple to put up down, compact and lightweight but really sturdy at the same time. Plus the adjustable handle is great for me at 5ft1 and my partner who's 6ft4!

bubblesforlife · 22/12/2020 14:13

Silver cross Pioneer Eclipse. It’s so beautiful, light and easy to use.

TildaTurnip · 22/12/2020 14:22

The Joie doesn’t lay completely flat and I would recommend something with more space around the head/less restrictive if you’re planning on longer times in it. We had an isofix car seat and then bugaboo chameleon which has lasted two children and is excellent. We didn’t end up using the pram attachment more than a handful of times as both babies preferred slings. Could have probably saved ourselves money!

Trinityhome · 22/12/2020 15:08

We've gone for the Icandy peach cerium, I love it and can't wait to use it!

I like the fact that it has 1 shell so less space needed!

Meomeomeo · 22/12/2020 15:28

We went with bugaboo fox 2, got a great deal with it too but the main reason is it’s so easy to manoeuvre (tried out at JL btw lockdowns 😅) and it’s the lightest complete system in the market. It’s still in the box atm though.

SunnySideUp2020 · 22/12/2020 16:00

Same as @Nat4392
Cybex priam and cloud z for car seat

shelbyrae · 22/12/2020 16:08

I'm reusing Mamas & Papas Urbo

SkyBlue20 · 22/12/2020 16:53

Mamas & Papas Ocarro. It isn't arriving until Jan but we loved in in store and seemed to be perfect for our lifestyle, which is some city living but also lots of rural walks as we live next to a lot of forest trails and parks. So excited to receive it!
