We had a koochi as it was £300 for the travel system on massive sale on cossatto website.

We switched to a BOB when LO was about a year and haven't looked back!! Great for country walks and very manoeuvrable for shops. Easy to take down and put up (2 steps to do so!!). But it's massive (takes up whole boot of my small suv) and not suitable for newborns. Don't think it would be so great in a city day in day out.

ALew15 · 22/12/2020 17:15

When doing some research online, I was convinced I wanted the Mamas and Papas Ocarro but when I got to the shop for a test run I instantly didn't like it. It was wintery and so heavy!
In the end, We went for the NUNA MIXX travel system. It's colours were better and it was lighter and easier to collapse. Half the price of the M&P and didn't come with any extras in the bundle we didn't need.
So happy we got to see it in the shop before making an online purchase.

I candy club here :) got the I-candy peach full set. Got a unreal deal

howmanyroads · 22/12/2020 21:35

@ALew15 weird, the nuna mixx weighs more than the Ocarro?

Chocolate1992 · 22/12/2020 21:38

Icandy peach black edition Grin

I think I’m more excited to use the pram than for my child to be born Blush

Missmonkeypenny · 22/12/2020 21:40

We've got the occaro, I love it! The easy fold is a big plus and the wheels handle rural living very well!

TJF2020 · 22/12/2020 21:45

We've got the noordi sole

Catwoman1985 · 22/12/2020 23:32

Like @SkyBlue20 we went for the Ocarro as we thought it was the best all-round fit.

shas19 · 23/12/2020 00:00

Silver cross wayfarer. Loveeee

OneStepOneStumble · 23/12/2020 00:15

Uppababy vista with a cybex cloud z car seat. Pram felt light as air in the shop and liked that the car seat lays flat

Ickli · 23/12/2020 07:30

Second hand Silver Cross Linear Freeway (for £45 in great condition). I live rurally so not yet sure how often I'll use a pram vs a sling, and it's been hard for me to see prams in person. So I thought I'd get something cheap and then perhaps get a second once we work out how life with a baby will be.

ALew15 · 24/12/2020 12:11

@howmanyroads the Ocarro is 13.3kg and the NUNA is 12.7kg. It's only a slight difference but I preferred the way it collapsed down. Personal preference

Whyistheteacold · 24/12/2020 12:35

I have no idea, I didn't look at any specific brands at all, just chose a travel system that looked nice and wasn't massively expensive. I think it would probably say on the paperwork what brand it is 🤷‍♀️ but it has wheels, DD seems to have no problems with it and always falls asleep, it does what all prams do and came with a car seat 😂

PopsicleHustler · 24/12/2020 13:40

A hauck duett as I have a toddler as well.
Its lovely

alexio · 24/01/2021 00:32

@PopsicleHustler
Is this a good pram? By the time baby is here my son will have just turned 1 and I'm looking at this pram

MaryShelley1818 · 24/01/2021 04:36

Haven't needed to buy one as have the Mamas and Papas Urbo from my little boy (just turned 3).
Also have a Joie Litetrax for when baby gets bigger, and we've bought a second hand Mountain Buggy Duo for holidays and big days out in case toddler needs a rest too. We tend to do theme park holidays with 8-10hrs of walking a day! Lol.

Purposefully didn't buy a travel system as didn't want the temptation to just stick the car seat on the chassis. Wanted baby to not be in a car seat as much as possible.

intheshallows · 24/01/2021 05:09

Reusing my bugaboo fox and babyzen yoyo from last time (both of which I used and loved for different reasons). Also have a mountain buggy duet as DC1 is still very young

110APiccadilly · 24/01/2021 05:19

We have a Jane Matrix car seat, which does lie flat, and then I bought a Trider from Facebook marketplace (because I'm a cheapskate) so that we can use the Trider base with it for a pram. Works well for us, and I like that I don't have to worry about how long she's been in the seat for. Was particularly good as she ended up being a very small newborn. The Trider base is good, pretty robust with good suspension.

Quail15 · 24/01/2021 05:34

I considered several different prams for my DD but ended up not getting one. We live in a smallish house with minimal storage, I didn't know where I would be able to put it. Dd ended up in a sling every time we went out until we bought a space saving buggy that lived in the car for occasional use when she was around 5 months old.
We will do the same with this baby due in April.

swiftt · 24/01/2021 06:48

I got the Nuna Mixx and absolutely love it. Was torn between that and the Ocarro but found such a good deal on a second hand Nuna that is completely immaculate, so I bought it without testing any others.

star1459 · 24/01/2021 08:39

We went for the oyster 3 and then have a maxi cosi car seat

CheshireeeCattt · 26/01/2021 15:50

We ordered a bundle from Online4baby and are really pleased, considering we didn't get to see anything in person!

It was the Joie Chrome DLX with carry cot and i-Level car seat.

Have seen some people say the i-Level headrest is too narrow, but I think it depends on baby. Bit like everything, you can buy 'the best', but if baby is too long/short/fat then it won't be perfect anyway.

What I loved about the Joie Chrome DLX was;

  1. massive rear wheels to help with suspension, they click off if you press a button so makes it getting into my little Corsa boot really easy
  2. footmuff and raincover came included, one for the pushchair fitting and one for the carry cot fitting, but the pushchair one also worked well over the car seat attachment, albeit not completely properly, as it isn't made for it specifically
  3. price seemed great for an iso-fix base car seat, plus everything else, it was £470
  4. colour, really like the darker grey as it's neutral, hides stains better than lighter fabric and I also dislike the silver framed buggies, as this is black, happy me
PFin · 26/01/2021 16:05

I got the icandy peach! We seen the icandy lime, loved that too! Loved the navy colour the peach came in tho! I went for a cheaper travel system first time round and regretted it so hoping this was a good decision!

showmorekindness · 26/01/2021 16:13

No mention yet of Egg pushchairs/travel systems, does anyone have feedback on this one?

Pinktruffle · 26/01/2021 16:14

I have a Stokke Xplory, you don't see many of them around anymore but I love it, as does my little one
