@felicityheather it's horrible being isolated and away from family for so long.

@danigrace I have had pelvic girdle pain with my previous pregnancies and have had crutches to help me get about. But due to lockdown the physio department don't have face to face appointments it's only a phone call and a support belt sent out. Lockdown has made support limited.

@wrensandrobins @Hopefulmummie @FTEngineerM
Thank you for all your kind words of support I just felt so low and I have not felt this way before, if this continues will have to contact the GP. It's not healthy for my kids to see me this upset either. But will defo try another brand or try to have them with food if I can.

Congratulations to all who have got their BFP.xxxxx

gemme · 15/01/2021 15:40

Hi everyone, joining the party!

BFP today - 4 weeks exactly so will be due end of sept if all goes well. Feeling very tired, and woke up with heartburn through the night which prompted me to test - the only time I've ever had that is in previous pregnancies!

Bubbles1st · 15/01/2021 17:34
@Jen435 I'm not really having many symptoms apart from daily bloat, wind, nipples sore to touch but nothing major and a few cramps (more last week than this week) makes me want to buy another test to check again but should be 6 weeks on Sunday so maybe just see how next week goes. I feel hungry all the time but nothing I'm put off by! Grin
Been invited a virtual night out with work tonight, I was new last June so haven't socialised with them yet going to have to pretend there is gin in my tonic Wink
Oh I'll be 6 weeks Sunday too :)

Hi!

danigrace · 15/01/2021 18:05

Big congratulations to all those joining!!

@MindyMalik big hugs. It's so shit what a postcode lottery it is 😫 I have my first women's health physio appointment this pregnancy on Wednesday and it's in person and can be weekly, fortnightly, or monthly face to face appointments depending on my preference. How can physio be done over the phone? That's mad!
How are you feeling today? Xx

MrsKPenguin · 15/01/2021 18:15

Has anyone else has a sharp cramping pain along the tummy line between the hips? It almost feels like a pulled muscle? I only feel it when I turn over in bed or twist to move?
Not sure if I'm overthinking it and worrying that something is wrong, or it's just where everything is adjusting to growing a small person. No bleeding or spotting, just the odd cramp and pulling feeling.
I am currently 5+5 in my first pregnancy and the anxiety of it going wrong is driving me mad! Xx

bigsweetpotato · 15/01/2021 19:03

@MrsKPenguin yes, I'm having exactly what you're describing, like a stretching/pulling ache in the lowest part under belly. It's been like that for a week and can feel it often but also when I'm lying on my side in bed!

MrsKPenguin · 15/01/2021 19:11

@bigsweetpotato ah, perhaps it's normal then. I was wondering if it could be ligament pain. I have heard that is a thing during pregnancy.
It's so hard not to worry!
Congrats on your bfp! 🥰 xx

MrsKPenguin · 15/01/2021 19:17

@bigsweetpotato I just found this on my bounty app 👍

September 2021!
bigsweetpotato · 15/01/2021 19:27

@MrsKPenguin thanks! Congrats to you too! I think we are nearly the same time! 5+4 for me :) Looks like it's probably normal then, though I know I probably overthink every twinge! It's my first too so I am a bit nervous! The other symptoms I have are constant boob pain and feeling tired x

MrsKPenguin · 15/01/2021 19:36

Ah exciting! I believe I am due 11th/12th.
It's all a bit crazy isn't it. I really want to get excited but I'm trying to keep it together! Hehe. It's all so new. I check my app every day to see if anything has changed. It's so silly hehe.
I have sore boobs too. And I had an episode of overwhelming nausea earlier. But then had a gingerbread man and it seemed to help! So I think a gingerbread man a day is the way forward! Xx

MrsA11d · 15/01/2021 19:51

@Mif89 Congratulations on your BFP. This was my first month trying too was so shocked yesterday morning when I got my BFP... some obscenity was said. ShockShock I'm 32 and overweight thought there wasn't a chance in hell that I'd be pregnant on the first cycle. Or even within the first year tbh. Was very pessimistic or maybe realist?!

I'm the same very aware that something could go wrong. However, gave myself a talking to if something is going to happen then worrying about it isn't going to stop it happen. Also there is things I can control my diet and taking my supplements etc.
I truly hope we get to September and everything goes well.

Mif89 · 15/01/2021 20:07

Congratulations to you too! Yes that is very true, worrying won’t help anything.
To make matters worse I have been asked to stay off work whilst they decide what duties are safe for me which means I have a lot of time to think and read but I will try and follow your mantra I think!
Fingers crossed for all!

MrsMcNtobe · 15/01/2021 20:29

Is anyone else struggling with really bad skin? I have the worst breakout all over my face and they’re actually quite sore, I usually use body shop vitamin E products but I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations I could buy ASAP?

MindyMalik · 15/01/2021 21:21

@danigrace

Exactly how can it be over the phone but that's what the local trust have decided.

I think when your down you have to feel a few more kicks before you are allowed to get back up. My uncle just died of covid today the drs had refused ICU care due to his age they had written him off as soon as he got to hospital.

Just kept myself snuggled up in a blanket. Tried to eat but struggled and then felt a funny feeling in my stomach so gave the pregnacare a miss today. I had some bread so hopefully keeps me going till I find strength to eat again.

llemma · 15/01/2021 21:38

So sorry to hear about your uncle @MindyMalik.

LittleAurora · 15/01/2021 21:40

Hi! I just got my positive test today!!

Highfalutinlootin · 16/01/2021 03:16

@MindyMalik Just wanted to offer a hand hold. I've been pretty depressed since 5 weeks. Didn't want to look at the first ultrasound or hear the heartbeat, not feeling connected to the baby at all, lots of feelings of regret and doom. It seems like no mystery to me that these feelings started exactly when my extreme nausea/HG started. How sick are you feeling? Because I finally got some meds (Diclegis) and am already feeling less depressed and more human just because of the relief from the nausea. Please talk to your OB and tell them how terrible you feel.

danigrace · 16/01/2021 07:40

@MindyMalik big big hugs. Be kind to yourself. Have you got good support at home?

Congratulations to all the newcomers!

September is apparently the busiest time to give birth anyway... I wonder if it will be even more so this year because of lockdown??

wrensandrobins · 16/01/2021 08:57

Is anyone else very constipated? I feel so uncomfortable, I'm not sure if I can take anything to help, google says to eat fibre and drink plenty which I have been doing! Thinking about trying some prune juice today!

MrsMcNtobe · 16/01/2021 09:01

@wrensandrobins I was literally coming on here to ask the same question! I feel the same, the bottom of my back has been a little sore and tbh I think it’s constipation! Fibre and water but I was going to ask my pharmacy if there was anything I could buy just to help me for a couple of days

lilyj13 · 16/01/2021 09:17

@Highfalutinlootin I have suffered from this with 3 pregnancies 2 of which I had, it's the worst feeling in the world and it's so hard to explain to people h/g unless you have it, I'm 5 weeks today and I feel awful at night and my anxiety is through the roof with shaking also.
I'm on tablets before it even starts because I have a feeling it's coming, this week is scary, when did you start with sickness. I hope you start feeling better soon and stop being sick. Good luck it's very difficult 😞 big hugs and keep strong

lilyj13 · 16/01/2021 09:18

@wrensandrobins you can take lactose meds as I went to the pharmacy to ask

wrensandrobins · 16/01/2021 09:22

@lilyj13 thank you! I will give that a go!

wrensandrobins · 16/01/2021 09:22

@MrsMcNtobe hope your feeling better soon!

gemme · 16/01/2021 09:32

@wrensandrobins not constipated but have had a few different days of having an awful bloated stomach and pains! I'm hoping it's not something that's going to last too long as on those days I could easily pass for 6 months gone if I relax too much, and I'm hoping to be able to keep this pregnancy quiet from work/most people for as long as possible!
