In just over two hours I'm about to find if i have an ectopic pregnancy any words of comfort or advice?

Well i had my results they have raised from 1250 to 2940!!!!
I have what the doctors call a normal progressing pregnancy

that's great, pepperpots, when are they going to scan you again?

They are looking anywhere between 1-2 weeks time. They are sending me an app in the post but they did say it would def be before my booking in scan (27th Nov)

okay... hmmm. i hate saying this but if they've only got one set of hcg results and they've not scanned you again and found out where the baby is... i wouldn't be happy with that entirely.
sorry to rain on your joyful day, but it's not unknown for ectopics to present with doubling hcgs, i'm afraid it happened to me.
i feel a heel for saying that, and of course i'm not saying anything bad is goiing on At All, but i'm not sure why they think they can rule an ectopic out at this stage.

and i would remind you that i had pain and brown blood with dd, so i really amn't saying anythign bad. just that i don't get why they haven't scanned you again, with those levels they could rule it out pretty definitely.
