Was your second baby heavier than your first?

My first was a tiny baby so I've bought tiny baby clothes and first size clothes. But my notes predict this baby will be a bit heavier. Luckily I've only bought 3 sleep suits and a pack of vests. It's just about what to take to the hospital. The less I take the less I have to carry with me...last time...even though I packed my bags... hubby didn't know where everything was and obviously after Labour I just gave up...

My 2nd was 3oz lighter than my first and my 3rd was in between. All 3 the same length. I seem to just grow them that size.

1. 5lb 13oz (40+6)
2. 5lb 14 oz and 3. 5lb 13oz (36+6)

DD1 was born on 100 centile at 38 weeks 8lb 10.5 oz.
I took one lot of newborn and one lot of 0-1 month to the hospital with me.

Could you get a small wash bag, one with tiny baby clothes and one with newborn clothes in, label them so it helps your partner?

DD born at 40+5 was 9lb3, DS born at 40 weeks was 9lb10. Both went home in the ‘up to one month’ size stuff, but DS was very long so for his whole first year he’s been growing out of things lengthwise before he gets wide enough to fill them
