9 weeks 4 days for me too technically.....but I'm having twins so expecting them to arrive much sooner 😬

Missyox · 14/12/2020 14:26

Gosh twins hey! Double cuteness, you all prepared?

cat709 · 14/12/2020 14:49

9 weeks and 1 day left for me!!
How are you feeling? Any weird symptoms to share?! Xx

Missyox · 14/12/2020 14:54

Yay exciting times, Nope no weird symptoms, heartburn made an appearance last night and makes me think that’s it’s not going away anytime soon killer!

10 weeks for me but both my other children arrived at bang on 39 weeks so in my head I’m having a baby in 9 weeks lol (I’m so going to go overdue now saying that!). I’m really starting to suffer this time, my first 2 were such a breeze, I only really felt rubbish the last few weeks. I was anticipating the same breezy pregnancy!

JustAnotherUserinParadise · 14/12/2020 15:07

Ooh you must have almost the same due date as me - 18th feb!
I can't wait... totally done with being pregnant haha!

cat709 · 14/12/2020 15:08

@TisTheSeasonToEatLots
Fingers crossed your baby comes relatively early!
As you've had previous babies, did you find that at 30-31 weeks the kicks were less aggressive as they're running out of space?
I'm stilling getting lots of movement, but they're not as big / booming! Xx

Missyox · 14/12/2020 15:13

Had anyone started packing their hospital bag? You would think with dc1 I would know what to pack for this LO. Clueless lol!

Milkshake7489 · 14/12/2020 15:33

8 weeks and 4 days here!

I'm equally excited and terrified 😂

TallulahTaboo · 14/12/2020 15:33

10 weeks exactly for me!

No the the hospital bag but planning to get it sorted this weekend. A friend of mine went naturally at 34 weeks too 😱😱

Missyox · 14/12/2020 15:34

@TallulahTaboo I haven’t even started😂😂

OP posts:
TallulahTaboo · 14/12/2020 15:37

Sorry that should say 'no I've not' started... I wasn't planning on too either for another few weeks but thought I may as well start. Can't be too prepared I suppose..? 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈

I always find weeks sound so long compared to days too. 10 weeks or 70 days... 😱😱

JoandLily · 14/12/2020 15:42

I'm due 20th Feb! Excited and nervous too...gonna pack my hospital bag after Christmas and get the last few things....I'm finishing work in 4 weeks 😬

Missyox · 14/12/2020 15:45

@TallulahTaboo I’m just gonna order my things online and pack after Christmas like @JoandLily says

Exciting times guys.

What is your birth plan? I’ve kind of been thinking about mine not sure though

OP posts:
TallulahTaboo · 14/12/2020 15:50

I've still got loads to order so my bag might not actually be packed until the NY 😂😂 though I've got my list ready it's just a case of buying things.

I found matalan had great knee length full button nighties in case anyone has still to buy one. Think mine was £10 and 100% cotton.

@Missyox I'd love a water birth so that's my first option but I know that it might not happen. Selfishly I don't want a c section but again, I appreciate that's out with my control.

@JoandLily 4 weeks!? Not long! I'm due Feb 23rd and finishing the week before unless bubs comes early!

@Milkshake7489 I'm the same! If anyone isn't scared of labour then I'd be surprised! 😂😂

Missyox · 14/12/2020 16:03

Ooo nice I’ll have a look on the matalan website!

That’s understandable though, never goes to plan does it? That’s life I suppose

TisTheSeasonToEatLots · 14/12/2020 16:52

@cat709, my children are only 3 and 4 so it isn’t all that long since I was pregnant before, I actually think the movement get much more uncomfortable as you get further along, so you can feel actual feet and body parts, so I wouldn’t say less aggressive exactly, it does feel different though. Like feet under the ribcage and you can feel more of a rolling motion, rather than the random jabs you get earlier on.

ivfbeenbusy · 14/12/2020 17:21

@Missyox

Gosh twins hey! Double cuteness, you all prepared?

As prepared as I can be! Hospital bag been packed for a while as you get warned twins they can make an appearance from 26 weeks onwards. There are a few more bits I need to get. I swing between excited and bloody petrified! 🤣

TallulahTaboo · 14/12/2020 17:25

@Missyox exactly. Have you got a birthing plan?

Missyox · 14/12/2020 17:37

@ivfbeenbusy oh yeah for sure, do you know what you are having? :)

@TallulahTaboo I’m thinking of elective c section for my second but getting approved is a different story, kinda anxious with this one ( reading horror stories don’t help)

@Missyox

Boy and a girl 😻

Vicalam · 14/12/2020 23:36

Hey 9 weeks for me, due 16th feb, only got 4 weeks left at work. It still feels ages away, I'm really excited I cant wait to meet her.
Not really started my hospital bag, I'm a bit clueless about what to put in it, have bought a nighty from boohoo though.
I get what you mean about movements, the feel of them has changed, at first I was worrying that something was wrong but now I've realised it's just different.

peonyrose87 · 15/12/2020 03:03

10 weeks left for me! Actually just realised this week how unprepared we are and how little stuff we have 🙈 going to get Christmas out of the way and then crack on with sorting everything out!

Missyox · 15/12/2020 04:48

Oh gosh me being me, I purchased all of baby things minus the car seat ages ago lol I like to feel prepared but apparently not when it comes to my hospital bag!😂😂😂

@ivfbeenbusy aw one of each how lovely

OP posts:
Cupcakefairy12 · 15/12/2020 05:35

9 weeks to go for me too 🥳 I have packed my hospital bag, not babies though and bought absolutely nothing 😂 it’s my second so I’m a lot more chill whilst still slightly nervous.
