August baby!! 11 months TTC - BFP today!

After 11 long months of TTC, I finally got my BFP this morning! Needless to say, I've taken about a million tests today to confirm 😂

I've called the doctors and got booked in, I'm already taking folic acid, anything else that I should be doing or could be doing?

I'm so excited, I genuinely thought this day might not even come!

What pregnancy tracking app would you recommend? I was using Glow and Flo whole TTC

Anyone else due early August??

Congratulations ladies ! I got my BFP too over the weekend , I am due 3rd august ! After a long 20 months TTC after a miscarriage at 14 weeks last year ! So this is my rai how baby .

I have 2 children from a previous relationship but this child will by my OH first .

I'm using the pregnancy + app and flow up on pregnancy mode .

I have an early scan on Friday to ensure all is well , then will have regular scans until baby is due so trying not to be too anxious and trying to relax .

I've started to get nauseous today and my skin is awful ! Xxx

I like the pregnancy+ app too and Ovia Pregnancy. I have broken out in spots all over my chin!

@ilesha15 welcome! Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Iv also had 2 miscarriages both this year and now hoping 3rd time is lucky. Only 5w so far, Iv booked in for an early scan at 7 weeks which fingers crossed will be ok and give me a bit more piece of mind.
My family will also think it's weird if I'm not drinking at Christmas so I want to be assured it's going well before I have to tell them before they guess on Christmas Day.

I just found out Yesterday that I’m pregnant, I already have a 4 year old with a different dad and this baby’s dad doesn’t want to be involved, I don’t know how I feel 😓 if I was in a relationship I’d be so happy... but I’m scared to do it alone, don’t get me wrong I am happy it’s just a shock as me and my ex tried for 3 years and nothing and we broke up the beginning of this year... it’s like I do want this and I am happy but I feel like I shouldn’t be because I’m not in the best position 😕 but congratulations to all of you ladies that have found out today august babies are the best my daughter is one 💕

Hi guys I'm need of some advice ...

I just found out that I'm 4 weeks pregnant... I'm happy about it as children are blessings and I have a 4 year old daughter already I know she'd be so happy to have a younger sibling... but the only problem is the dad doesn't want anything to do with the baby😕 he's actually blocked me after I told him and told me to get an abortion... I just got loads of abuse really 😓

My daughter has a different dad and her dad isn't involved either... I feel bad to bring another child in to the world with no father and I worry that I won't be able to cope, I'm 24 and struggle with my mental health, the thought of bringing up two alone scares me... especially since I found it so hard emotionally with my daughter... I worry that I'll never find anyone to love or accept me if I have two babies by different dads 😭

I just don't know what to do... I want my baby so bad I feel like I already care for it I can already imagine the three of us being together but I'm just scared of being alone and pregnant even though I was before 😓

I need help... advice anything I just want to make the right choice, I called the drs and asked if I could speak to anyone but he said I have to make the choice myself , the thought of ending it brings me to tears but also the thought of me keeping it scares me half to death 😭😭

Has anyone had two children by the same dad or different dads and been a single mum and found love?

I know it's not all about that but I do long to have that family unit 😕

@Babycee101 sorry to hear about your situation. I'm not sure exactly what advice you are after but it sounds like your trying to decide whether to keep the baby or not. Or some sort of reassurance that you will find someone that will make up that family unit. I hope you find the answers your looking for and I wish you the best of luck but I don't think this is the right thread for those specific questions.

@VWLolabunny9119 @Donnat89 thank you so much. I went for scan today and all seems well and healthy. We where able to see the heartbeat flickering away. Midwife thinks I'm between 4w5d and 6w2d. I have another scan in 12 days time 🤞🏽

@ilesha15 lovely scan , I've got mine Friday I hope we get to see a heartbeat too will make me feel so much better at the moment I just feel so anxious 😟

@ilesha15 great to see your scan went well! I can't wait to have mine next Sunday when I'll be 7w. @Donnat89 good luck with yours. It is nerve wracking to find out if all is going well or not.

Not good news got me I'm afraid seems my bleed was a miscarriage so no sign of pregnancy at the scan and the tests they did all negative . So back TTC for us .

On the onus side my ovaries etc all look healthy xxxx

I'm so sorry to hear this @Donnat89. It's such an incredibly hard thing to go through. For me I tried to think of it as a delay in the process to having a baby rather than it not happening. Although I know that still doesn't make things easy. Wishing you all the best

Hi I am due August too. This is my third but I have ha big gap between this baby and my last so it feels all new again I'm 4 ish weeks is anyone else experience cramping like mild period pains I dot remember this b4 is it normal any info greatly appreciated

@FeelingBlessedx congratulations. I experience cramping a bit too. They say it's normal to have a bit which passes after you've had a wee or poo. I'm 6w today and the nausea has kicked in. No actual vomit but felt like I would and couldn't stomach breakfast which is not like me. Some plain crackers helped quite a bit. X
