Morning, sorry I've dropped off the thread a bit.

Welcome to new people, congratulations on your baby girl @scrumdiddly123 and welcome to the world Isaac @BS9790!

Can't believe DD is 9 days old today! She's absolutely perfect, none of the breastfeeding issues I had with DS (apart from sore nipples as she's trying to establish my supply) and she actually sleeps in her Moses basket after feeding! Only in the day, though. She wants to be held at night.

I've developed quite a severe water infection, so DH is doing the night shift to let me sleep and try to recover, and just bringing her in to feed.

Lockdown isn't going to make much difference to us at this stage, really. We've just sort of hunkered down anyway, but it does make me a bit sad that I can't get out and show off my baby! She has only met one of her 5 grandparents (DM looked after DS while I was in hospital,so sneaked a cuddle when she dropped him home), and none of the rest of her extended family!

This was my last bump photo, at 37+6, 4 days before labour started.

Wow @FireflyGirl, those 9 days have gone really quick!! How are you feeling apart from the water infection? Hope you've got some antibiotics to help shift it, there's nothing worse 😖. Love your last bump photo too!

@ChampooPapi just realised I missed your last message... thank you so much I really really hope we make it to 34 weeks too! Do you know what? I have a good feeling that we might too... but don't want to get ahead of myself!! YOU'RE MEETING YOUR GIRLS THIS WEEK!!!! 😍😍😍

@MilsCookie I am on antibiotics to shift it. The nurse commented that I must have quite a high pain threshold, so I think it's quite bad. It's definitely uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time, which I need to do while DD is cluster feeding.

Touch wood, it'll all get sorted soon with the antibiotics.

My c-section wound is really good - I asked the nurse yesterday to look at it, seeing as I was there anyway, and she said it had healed so well there wasn't any point re-dressing it. She also complimented the surgeon and said she hadn't seen such a neat scar before.

Other than that, I'm just enjoying all the newborn snuggles.

I have my fingers crossed for you to make it to 34 weeks, @MilsCookie. Will you be able to get more rest with the new lockdown?

@Chickoletta thanks for thinking of me. I still have zero symptoms, but my HCG remains very high. I have no idea what is going on. My gut instinct is that it's a MC or MMC. I guess normally I might get an early scan? Who knows what will happen with the new lockdown rules. I might go for a private scan on Friday if no bleeding has arrived.

Hi @inahaze. All ok here thanks. I can’t say that I’ve got that many symptoms either really but I’ve always been quite lucky with morning sickness etc and know that the worst of the tiredness doesn’t usually kick in until 6 weeks or so for me - I’m 4+3 today. I’ve felt a bit queasy on and off for the past couple of days but that’s it. Nearly threw up earlier after having a Black Forest hot chocolate in Costa but think that was from the obscene amount of sugar and cream mostly. I don’t normally have stuff like that!

Still a bit worried about my CB digital showing 1-2 on Sat instead of increasing, but think the mid day dilute wee could account for that. Going to get another one and do it with FMU tomorrow.

So nice to see all of the beautiful bump photos!

Here’s my little bumpy 17+3! Started my new job today and told the head as soon as I got there that I’m pregnant- no way can I hide it any longer 😳

Hi @Chickoletta I wouldn't worry too much about digital tests as I did a few with my now 5 week old and it increased from 2-3 to 3 and then went down the following week. I freaked out but it then went up. Panicked me for no reason and he's a health baby boy 👍🏻

@AlviesMam is it your due date today? So exciting! There will be more babies this week on here. LOVE THAT!

@BecsterG yes! No signs yet though. Getting induced a week today if nothing happens making an extra hot curry tonight xxx
