Can't believe I did this - took DS swimming this morning and after 5 minutes in the pool noticed I still had my bra on under my swimming costume

still cringing now...

dh and I went on holiday with ds1 when I was expecting ds2. went out for a meal in a pub one night, parked, locked car and were just about to enter pub when realised ds1 was still in car!!!

was standing at cashier in sainsburys with 20 year old trendy young man serving and couldnt find my money
then remebered i had stuck £20 in my bra as no pockets
pulled it out and handed it to him - warm....
his face was a picture

at family gathering while pouring out wine absent mindedly poured and gave my 2 year old a glass of wine to horror of family who obviously saw it as a regular occurence!

My husband and I went to buy some new rose plants for the garden. We needed six and there was exactly that number left of the ones I had set my heart on. So I put them in the trolley and went to look at something else. Unfortunately, whilst I was away, someone helped themselves to two. On discovering this I sat down on the shop floor and simply howled. Then I went on a rampage around the shop, searching through everyone's trolley and accusing all and sundry of having stolen MY roses. It all seemed absolutely appropriate and reasonable at the time, but, needless to say, I haven't dared go back to the same place since ....

I almost shoplifted a baby sling. I completely forgot I had it in my hand. The staff said err, did you get the sling from another shop? and I said what sling? They were very understanding - they said they deal with mushy-brained pregnant accidental shoplifters all the time.

Last night I told my husband that I would just get a fresh towel before I got in the fridge.

When I was expecting ds, I had gone to get dd's dummy (she was only 9mnths) came back and tried to put into dh's mouth, realised what I was doing just before, but he would have taken it!!!! MIL said, 'you're not pg are you?' errmmmm...... we were going to keep it quiet a little longer.

I spent ten minutes trying to get a full size french stick to fit in the fridge. And when I was in labour I declined to remove my knickers and asked the staff to just 'work round them'...(Am rather shy lol)

Left most of my shopping, bagged up, on the checkout in the supermarket. Got home and DH said "where is all the food then?".

Called the store and they had all my shopping waiting for me. I cried (obv) and made DH go back for it.

Also dropped a floor to ceiling mirror through the bedroom window (double glazed) and massive shards of glass went everywhere. Cried then too! And to phone DH at work and explain. He was so calm and just came home and cleared up and mopped me up!

I used to be composed but since having children, forget it, I am always crying for something or other!

Ask Maureenmlove about the KFC!! She'll kill me if I tell you but so funny.

I went to my evening class at college wearing odd shoes too! One highish heel boot and one big biker styler boot...no-one said anything, and I didn't notice until I got home...at which point I did a pregnancy test

with first ds- was making dinner for dh who was watching the match at the pub with friends and said he'd be home for 5pm. it was a suprize dinner. he called to say that they were staying longer to play pool at 5 to 5pm. i yelled over the phone that i made this dinner. he said 'oh will be home in 15 mins then'. i hung up. then crying called back with in mins to tell him not to bother as it was all going in the bin as 15 mins was to long and it would be ruined and hung up. i then took the hot food and pans and through it all in the bin. he was home in 10-15 mins and started looking for his dinner... i started crying saying it was in the bin and now i had nothing to eat either. lol
this pregnancy i have accidently shopped lifted a pack of nappies for ds1. having put them in bottom of pushchair for easy shopping. then walked out with out paying for the nappies. when i was just outside the door i went to put the shopping in the pushchair basket found them and went back in to pay for them. they didnt know what to do, they all were looking at me funny.
i also many a times walked to asda got trolly full of food to then realize i forgot my wallet. lol
