Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

Hi everyone!

Congratulations to you all! Flowers
I got my BFP yesterday after 9 months of trying and I'm over the moon! Glad to see I'm not the only one who did multiple tests!

Still feel like there is a long road ahead and I'm slightly terrified especially as this is my first and I'm 39. But we have gotten this far so 🤞🏼.

Paperfox · 08/11/2020 07:20

Hi Everyone!

Another newbie here too!

I got my BFP last Tuesday (after a negative on Monday) and Ive calculated my due date 16th July.

I already have an 11 year old so this is going to be a big gap 🙈🙈

I've told my best friend and no one else (I wanted to wait till 12 weeks) but my DH is that excited he told his mum and dad (it's his first baby and will be their first grandchild) I'm hoping everything goes well as his Mum was so excited!

I'm dying to tell DS but have said I'm going to wait until after Christmas when I should be about 10/11 weeks

I'm having some period like cramping and the tiredness is unreal! Hope everyone else is ok!

Hopingfor3 · 08/11/2020 08:34

@Paperfox I am most excited to tell my eldest. She turns 4 next month but she'll be absolutely buzzing! She talks about having a baby all the time ❤️ So thinking will tell her maybe Christmas Eve if we are lucky enough to get that far 💜❤️💜❤️ Xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 08:48

How's everyone doing for symptoms? I'm seriously worried about lack of, boobs aren't as sore as they were tiredness is diminishing and I felt sick yest which has gone too! 6 weeks tomorrow, this is first pregnancy since Mc so I'm panicking so much x

ivftake1 · 08/11/2020 08:49

Got my bfp this morning for what will be my second! Due date 14/07/2021

Jilly1988 · 08/11/2020 09:13

@AnxiousAnnie86 I am 5 weeks and do not have many symptoms at all. I have some cramping and yesterday my nipples felt a little bit sensitive but that is it. Who would have thought that you would want to feel sick just to have some symptoms 🙈

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 09:18

@Jilly1988 I know! I felt sick yest and actually took comfort in it!!! X

dippyegg32 · 08/11/2020 09:29

Hi all we have a private fb group for July 21 if anyone would like to join

www.facebook.com/groups/457967405175903/

SarahN81 · 08/11/2020 09:30

I'm the same, I know I'll hate it once it gets here but waiting for it like a badge of pregnancy 🙈

Mctm123 · 08/11/2020 09:34

@AnxiousAnnie86 mine seems to come in waves I’ll have a day where I feel sick then next day fine then feel sick again. I am constantly burping though!!

But as you know I’ve had that bleeding (which has changed to brown now and slowed down) so who knows xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 09:36

@Mctm123 how you feeling today? X

JZBLD · 08/11/2020 09:38

Congratulations to all these new positives! Ours wasn't planned, I feel a bit out of place at the moment because although I'm excited I'm not quite there at thrilled yet. I haven't told my husband because I know he doesn't want anymore babies and will bring me down. We have five already - eldest is only 9 so they're quite squashed together. He'll warm to the idea because he is the most awesome Dad but I just haven't brought myself to do it yet.

Mctm123 · 08/11/2020 09:44

@AnxiousAnnie86 happier really!! I feel like it’s going to be ok? Maybe I’m being over cautious but it makes a bloody change! I woke up feeling sickly again an absolutely starving. I’m sure it’s going in the right direction. How are you? Xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 09:53

@Mctm123 I felt so sick all day yest but dont today do obvs now I'm panicking still obsessively doing tests and they are darker then ever but I just don't know how to relax about this xx

MrsH2019 · 08/11/2020 10:03

Hi all. Congratulations on your BFP’s. A lot of us have already moved to a Facebook group there are about 30 of us. If you would like to join private message lollipop87 (the original poster of this group), if you message her your email address she can add you. It’s private so you can’t find it on your search’s. Xx

Char1803 · 08/11/2020 10:05

@AnxiousAnnie86 @Mctm123 hi ladies, I know its easier said than done but try not to worry. I have read countless sites and threads and it seems that everyone's experiences and symptoms are completely different.

When I got my bfp I was so worried for around a week, then my OH pointed out that me stressing isn't going to help the baby and that I need to just try to relax and enjoy the process.

Only symptoms I've had is extremely painful boobs and bad constipation. I have had some cramping but tried to ignore it or ill read into it too much. I'm sure when the sickness does arrive I'll be grateful for these few weeks before it did.

I know we are all worried and don't want anything to happen but stressing yourself out isn't going to help. I felt the same as you but I've now decided to almost ignore the fact I'm pregnant for a few weeks and just try to take some time for myself before it all gets mega hectic and I start to feel unwell and exhausted!!

Xxx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 10:05

@MrsH2019 thank you but I'm not on Fb, will stick around here :) xx

Hopingfor3 · 08/11/2020 10:23

I think we have 2 FB groups x

PeanutButterFalcon · 08/11/2020 10:32

Sorry probably being a bit stupid here...
Can people on Facebook see we are in the group? I've not told anyone yet so would hate for Facebook to out.

Hopingfor3 · 08/11/2020 10:40

The group we've had for a few weeks you definitely can't see at all and you have to be invited to by @Lollipop87 . Not sure about the one here with a link xx

EatPrayYoga · 08/11/2020 10:54

@Hopefulmummie I had mild cramping most days but I seem to have less now (I'm at 5+4) but I still get twinges or stretching sensations. I had my last period on 30 Sept and ovulated around 18 October. I am 5+4. If you ovulated on 12 September you are more than 5 weeks? You essentially add on two weeks from when you ovulated I think. But they will date you at your 12 week scan.

@JZBLD Welcome to Mumsnet. It is great for clubs like this. I was in a birth club when I was pregnant with my DD.

@cakecakecheese I think it's easy for posts to get lost. I have found that too!

I hope all is well @T2416

I have had some symptoms - cramping, constipation, wind, lightheadedness, slight nausea snd my boobs have become more sore the last few days but they come and go and most of the time I feel absolutely fine. @Char1803 is absolutely right that every pregnancy is different and we should try not to worry though I know I worry too.

Congratulations to everyone else.

I might join the Facebook group later if that's okay with you all but I don't feel ready yet.

Figarosbow · 08/11/2020 11:23

Hello and congratulations to everyone 👋

I got my bfp Thursday. Due date is looking like the 18th July. This will be my 3rd, already have 2 girls aged 6 and 3.

Hopingfor3 · 08/11/2020 11:42

@Figarosbow I have 2 girls already too ❤️

Congrats xx

annahannah · 08/11/2020 11:42

Really helpful reading all of your messages and experiences. Was worried about my cramping but glad to know lots of you ladies are experiencing that.
Here is my line progression. I normally have 33 day cycles so I’m not even technically ‘late’ until Tuesday, but the lines seem nice and strong. First day of last period was 9th Oct and I think I ovulated on 26th October (positive OPK test)

Based on this the NHS calculator is saying my due date is 21st July. Already really grateful for this group and hearing your experiences. Have a scan booked end of Nov when I’ll be 7w+1 (if my maths is correct haha!) which will hopefully put my mind at rest. Such an exciting, yet worrying time.
