OMG 4 years of trying and I’m pregnant!

I genuinely can’t believe this. I have endometriosis AND polycystic ovaries. My husband lost his sex drive due to a tragedy. We were having sex minimal at the time of ovulation. I’m also 37. I had an appointment with the IVF clinic next week. Period was late with a little spotting, thought nothing of it - just that I may be under too much stress. Thought popped into my head yesterday. I got a double Clear Blue double pack. First one was invalid. Then second one there the words were ‘pregnant’. I’m in absolute shock!

When I got my BFP wed been trying for a year. I was about to start clomid. I didn't believe the rest was positive as I I rang the early pregnancy unit to ask why I was getting a false positive, was it due to Pcos hormones? The nurse very kindly and patiently explained that I was in fact pregnant!

Congratulations! I had PCOS, endometriosis and a blocked Fallopian tube and had IVF to concieve our only child, so I can understand a little how much of a big deal this is for you. You must be over the moon!

I am seriously over every moon and every star possible!
Husband knows. He was with me when I got the positive. I was going through the ‘When it’s negative, we still have the appointment” speech. I don’t know about anyone else but I have always had this nagging feeling that I was letting him down or something (I know that he would never be that shallow) but I guess many women can relate to that in some way. I looked at the test and said “oh my God, oh my God” I was shaking. I’d fantasized about how it would happen for four years and I was freaking out lol.
