@blodyn91 Hahaha yeah I think car as in 🚗 would be like Kaaaahhh 🤣 tbh I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them I'm just annoyed that I didn't get to keep my first choice on the list, although it is probably the most popular name out of the ones we have on there so wouldn't have ultimately gone with it anyway!

@Bl0ndi3 @Ltay2 thankyou, I just hope baba is growing OK in there, I certainly have a bump now, I've popped out this week!! I will let you guys know the gender tomorrow, scan is in the evening though so a long wait ahead. So exciting!!!!

@Ltay2 association names with people really puts me off too . My kids are 10 and 8 so we know every name in the school so they’re all off my list! What about Evan and Lucas as a middle name? I like Lucas but there’s soo many in our school which would put me off as a first name but would make a gorg middle name

We like Rocky for a boy and Peggy for a girl 🙈 we can’t agree on any others lol xx

Kit is class, Kai is nice too? I find a choosing names so difficult ....

@Mrsi2020 We are having James as middle name as it's the middle name of a lot of the boys in both of our families, plus OH middle name so seems nice to go with that ☺️ love Georgie, River and Sonny the most from your lists but all sound good! I can't wait to see those first photos of everyone's little babas with whatever names we ultimately decide on 🥰

I think my slight issue with Evan is that I've never actually known of any Evans. Which really is a good thing as it shows it's not all that common, better to know none than know a horrible one or something, but it just makes it harder to picture someone having that name 🤣 I don't think it's a baby's name either which again is good as he won't be a baby for very long in his life but also hard to picture.

Maybe I'm just over thinking it 🙈

I quite like Douglas, Rupert, Hugo, Frankie, Jonah and myles

OH of those only likes Phoebe, Fredrick, Rupert, Douglas and Myles - he likes the name Lily but it's not for me, personally.

@Ltay2 so my friend that has an Evan, her hubby picked it, she wasn’t fussed, so he got “baby Evan” for about 4 years 🥰 she loves it now. She didn’t dislike it just couldn’t think or agree on anything nicer. Her other kids are Lucas and Ella.

I love Georgie but it means farmer. 🤔 we like river too and sonny but I know a really old man called Rocky, a v old man and he is a gent , and I fell in love with his name when I heard it , and more so heard it in a professional manner xx

@Bl0ndi3 love all your names. Altho hallie and Nora would be my fave as the least common!!! I love Freddie but Dhs bf has a Freddie, I also love frankie after my granda bht my cousin used it 😭 xx

@Bl0ndi3 I love Hallie and Nora too! And Freddie ☺️ we originally had Miles/Myles on our list to begin with but have decided against it now.

@Mrsi2020 Aww that's cute! I think Evan will just grow on me more, it's still my favourite out of our list. I just don't LOVE any boys names. I'm so happy we're having a boy, but we were definitely more set on a girls name and I loved that.

We were also set on a girls name, then boys are just harder 😆
For a girl would have had Daisy as a middle name as its the flower of April ☺️ now to have a girl in the future also born in April 😆

I love Rocky! Good solid name.
I love how different all these names are! Some of us could acctually end up with the same names!

I want poppy for personal sentimental reasons but OH has said he wouldn't rule it out because of what it means to me but doesn't love it.

Phoebe was our fave but he seems to have gone off it which is making me go off it a little haha. Think he said it's the spelling.

I love hallie but he says she would just get Hayley 🙄

Oh and he ruled out Luna because it's "a dogs name" but I've put it back on the list again because it's not a dog name and he's stupid! and the reason we liked it in the first place was because Luna lovegood is our fave character in hp.

Also my step mums nephew is called myles so I'm a little off put by that I don't really want a name we already have in the family.

Luna is my current favourite if it's a girl (as I know I won't get Poppy)

Freddie if it's a boy.

I'm not too bothered about names being popular as such as long as they're not super obviously popular ones. Top 50 is fine but not top 10 haha.

@blodyn91 I know, we need a girl in April next too 😂 our girl name was going to be April Matilda and I still love it but I feel that it may be weird to have an 'April' not born in April and the chances of having another baby due then is quite slim, plus wouldn't really want both of my children with the same birthday month 😭

@Bl0ndi3 I don't think Hallie would be mistaken for Hayley!

@Bl0ndi3 Have to admit the only Luna I know is a dog 😂 although I don't think it's a 'dogs name', it's just now my association with the name having not known any human Lunas 😂

@Ltay2 I really want a grey whippet who I would call Luna to be fair 😂😂 but only if I didn't have a baby and called her Luna.

I just don't think dog when I hear Luna plus it will be our baby's name so it will not be associated to a dog anymore for him surely.

To summarise my OH is stupid haha because I agree hallie isn't even close to Hayley and you say what you see with hallie 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Hey all just a quick update 20w scan went well measurements all fine 👍🏽 it's defo a lilttle boy. Feel like I can finally breathe a sigh of relief 😃

I love poppy and Luna as girls names and Freddie so I think you are sorted on the name front 👌🏽

@Bl0ndi3 you'll have to be careful what list you look at if you don't want Freddie in the top 10 😂 funny enough that is what we called bump until 20w (my nephew picked the name and didn't want to use his real name until I was a bit more confident he was coming) Luna is also lovely, only one I've heard of is John Legends daughter 🥰

Totally depends what list you look though as one doesn't have Freddie in the top 100 and the other has it at 9th 👀😂

I've only discussed names on here, not mentioned to any of my friends or family as they'll all have some comment or say oh blah blah cousin is called that 😂

I also think some dogs name make great human names. Our sheep dog growing up was called Nel, and I quite like Nel as a girls name. Maybe not Pero though as that acctually translates to dog 🤣

@Mococo1 glad scan went well! So many of us past half way/ almost there!
Im so glad we have Christmas to sort of distract us. I keep telling OH how I just want it to be April now
