@Cocoblue22 Aww so glad your scan went well too! Did they do the whooping cough at your scan as standard or did you have to book it in? I'm not sure when I'm supposed to be having mine! Got flu jab booked for this weekend though.

blodyn91 · 09/11/2020 21:10

@Cocoblue22 Glad all went well! Half way now!!! and I know, normal does not exist! Google is the enemy ๐Ÿ˜†

@Ltay2 I called today to have it and asked if I could have the flu jab on the same day, so booked in for next week. I know its after 16 weeks for wooping cough, but can't remember of you need it before a certain week.

Busybee143 · 09/11/2020 21:28

@blodyn91 what kind of pain do you get? I think I've pulled something inbetween my hip bone and my oubic bone, I hope I've pulled something anyway, if not it's a worrying sign. I've been able to feel a pain all day but now I keep getting little spurts of it ๐Ÿ˜
@Bl0ndi3 @Cocoblue22 I'm trying to get as much rest as possible x

Cocoblue22 · 09/11/2020 21:29

@Ltay2 I just asked when I was there I managed to book in for my flu jab at boots a month ago but seems hard to get an appointment anywhere now. I just mentioned I hadn't had the whooping cough one as I haven't had any face to face midwife appointments since booking appointment and they said the could do it there and then so I thought might as well get it out of the way! X

@blodyn91 yeah over half way I'm actually 22+3 and will have him by 39 weeks so only 16 weeks to go ๐Ÿ˜ so excited!! Please don't worry you look amazing and baby is doing great! I'm the opposite to you I already look like I'm due any day now! Everyone is different! On the plus side you'll prob be one of those lucky women who 'spring back' after the birth....I was not it took me a good ten months and even then I wouldn't say I was back to how I looked before ๐Ÿคฃ don't think my tummy will ever look the same again after growing my big baby boys but I actually really like my crinkly stretch marks just not so fond of the extra tummy fat and sag haha x

Cocoblue22 · 09/11/2020 21:30

@Busybee143 it will be all your ligaments softening. I've been getting pains when I get up quickly and they really hurt but I think it's normal x

Mustbemad82 · 09/11/2020 21:38

How are @Catherinettc and @Mrsi2020 havenโ€™t heard much from you both in a while

Catherinettc · 09/11/2020 21:58

@Mustbemad82 hey im good don't worry ๐Ÿ˜

Just been extra tired. I'm so uncomfortable as well which is crazy since I'm only coming up to 13 weeks but I'm so big for so early. I'm thinking it must be the fibroid pushing my but out more and hoping I don't end up huge ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Hope ur all good ladies โคโค xx

blodyn91 · 09/11/2020 22:00

@Busybee143 mines more my coccyx, but also my right glute, and right side of pelvis. About 30 mins after running even lifting my right leg kills. But after a night sleep pain has gone.
If yours lasts days then could be a muscle strain- as a consequence of ligaments stretching probably. I wouldn't worry, just rest. But of you do go running just make sure you stretch afterwards and warm up before you go.

@Cocoblue22 I actually have stretch marks down the top of my thighs because I was very underweight as a teenager (no health issues, just the way i was) then had a huge growth spurt! I kinda like them too ๐ŸฏWill see about bouncing back ๐Ÿ˜‚ no pressure.

not heard from @zippityzip for ages either

LittleRa · 09/11/2020 22:30

Busybee143 · 10/11/2020 06:54

@Cocoblue22 you're probably right, I've been trying to be more careful when getting up.
@blodyn91 I'm going to be super careful I decide to go again

Mustbemad82 · 10/11/2020 07:23

@blodyn91 could be SPD, lifting one leg is always a common symptom , if it continues Ask for a PR referral for some decent stretching and exercises

@Catherinettc really pleased tour ok
Iโ€™m
Big (for me) too and itโ€™s not always comfortable
Sure Iโ€™ve felt a few little flutters this week too??

Mustbemad82 · 10/11/2020 07:24

Again there is loads of pregnancy related pelvis pain (Iโ€™m a therapist) and itโ€™s good to document symptoms more closely as thereโ€™s lots of expertises ypu can do to diminish and manage symptoms

blodyn91 · 10/11/2020 08:41

@Mustbemad82 SDP sounds exactly like what Ive got! It started about week 9 ๐Ÿ™ˆ I wonder because I don't have a bump my baby is pressing more downwards as well. The pain is unbearable after a run, and I can't sleep that night as any movement hurts. But by morning its gone, by a few days later I'm like 'Ill try to run again' then same pain ๐Ÿ˜ซ. This week going to try run-walk.
I do do strength & conditioning stuff 2/3x a week. But I'll have a look to see if there are any specific things I could be doing. Is it the midwife that refers you to a physio?
I could just stop running and just bike, but its something thats going to get worse over time and really don't want it to start hurting when I walk ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
And its 100% pregnancy related ๐Ÿ˜†

Mustbemad82 · 10/11/2020 10:43

@blodyn91 yes midwife will refer
Have a look online and there are a range of exercises you can be doing to help strengthen things and hopefully ease the symptoms

blodyn91 · 10/11/2020 11:16

@Mustbemad82 most things I already do like squats and stretches. I've now contacted HR asking if I can get an office desk, Im currently working at my kitchen table on a wooden chair. ๐Ÿ™ˆ Definitely not helping! Thanks will text MW

Mococo1 · 10/11/2020 16:21

Hey ladies sorry I've been so quiet!

How is everyone

@Cocoblue22 I actually can't believe it's only 16 weeks away for you!!

@blodyn91 sorry you're in so much pain ๐Ÿ˜– such a shame as you love running and swimming pools are shut

@Bl0ndi3 how are you feeling? Zoom call would be nice eh ๐Ÿ˜„ but I got my screening results within a matter of 2 days so I just think it's how quickly the bloods get done and if you are/aren't considered high risk xx

Bl0ndi3 · 10/11/2020 21:29

@zippityzip good luck tomorrow update us after your scan โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Ltay2 · 11/11/2020 10:34

If anyone wants to help me out with boys names.. here's my names thread ๐Ÿง

Opinions on boys names www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/4075937-opinions-on-boys-names

blodyn91 · 11/11/2020 11:10

@Ltay2 my fave are Evan and Caleb โ˜บ๏ธ

We are struggling. OH likes Hari, but theres a girl from school with a boy with that name and its too royal family for me ๐Ÿ™ˆ
I like Kit as its greek for hope.
Then also like Idris and Aeron/Euron (but pronounced the welsh way, so scared people will miss pronounce as its Eh-uh-ron not ew-ron.
Another contender that I haven't mentioned to OH yet is Caradoc- what would you shorten that to? Car? Its a name of a hill we often walk up and has a connection to his dad as well.
Plenty of time to come up with new ones. Like you middle name will be Thomas after OH dad.

Mrsi2020 · 11/11/2020 11:20

@Mustbemad82 thanks for thinking off me! How are you all? Iโ€™m battling on!

Girls Iโ€™ve booked a gender scan for 12tg dec at 18 weeks! This is all your fault, I was going to keep it a surprise and seeing all your announcements makes me want to know ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ xxx

Bl0ndi3 · 11/11/2020 12:40

@Mrsi2020 I've booked a gender scan for 12th December too hehe I'll be 16 weeks.

Booked it prematurely as not had my 12 week scan yet but they were running out of slots for that time and wanted it equally between 12/20 weeks scans x

Bl0ndi3 · 11/11/2020 19:06

@Busybee143 @Mococo1 @Sophi123 good luck tomorrow keep us updated?!? โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

@zippityzip I miss youuuuuuuu - hope everything went well today xx

Ltay2 · 11/11/2020 19:24

@blodyn91 Ooo I love Kit. I think with Aeron/Euron for someone who didn't automatically know how to pronounce it you'd be most safe with Aeron as Euron would get pronounced as Ew-ren if it wasn't a known name. Never heard of Caradoc but lovely connections! Is the 'Car' aspect pronounced like Car ๐Ÿš— or car as in Carrot? Could be shortened to Car or Cara I suppose!

OH is really pushing for Evan and even though I like it it's annoying me because if we do end up going with it (I think we will) I don't want him to think he just got it all his own way because he isn't seriously considering other names ๐Ÿ™„ plus the name I really liked (Lucas) he immediately said no because of associations with someone, so I am even more irrationally annoyed that the name he liked (Evan) hasn't been taken off the list when my name has ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Ltay2 · 11/11/2020 19:25

Good luck for those with upcoming scans โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

blodyn91 · 11/11/2020 20:41

@Ltay2 hmm I think I pronounce car the same as carrot ๐Ÿคฃ do you just say Kaaa? Welsh in me makes me pronounce my Rs

That is annoying ๐Ÿ™ˆ can you pick them out of a hat, until you pick one you are not dissapointed with? ๐Ÿ˜† I originally liked Caio, but OH was a straight no for that

Good luck with scans!
@Bl0ndi3 you'll know before Christmas ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—
