@Dipsy77 Oh really.. that's slightly put me off ๐Ÿ™ˆ I will have a look.

Cocoblue22 · 08/11/2020 08:44

@Dipsy77 oh that's so poor! After just under two years of use of our occaro the plastic clasp snapped meaning the harness was broke I contacted mammas and papas and they were great. Sent a replacement harness straight out no charge as it was still under warranty and DH just fitted it and it was back to good as new! Their customer service was brill. If it happens again I'd suspect now we would just have to pay for the replacement clasp now it's out of warranty but the amount of use it's had I wouldn't even consider that an issue as unfortunately wear and tear does cause stuff to break over time x

Dipsy77 · 08/11/2020 08:50

@Cocoblue22 mamas and papas are good. I'm lucky I live near the factory shop which is next to the head office in Huddersfield and there are loads of bargains to be had. I haven't got a pram from them but the prices are so good in the factory shop Smile

Ltay2 · 08/11/2020 08:53

I'm going to have a rethink and look at mamas and papas too. Such a shame as I love the Cosatto colours, I think plain black or grey is a bit boring but I don't want to be worrying about something breaking or going wrong and customer service being so bad ๐Ÿ˜ž

Dipsy77 · 08/11/2020 08:58

If anyone isn't too far from West Yorkshire once lockdown is over it's worth a visit to the mamas and papas factory shop. You can get occaros and other prams for half price. They have a Facebook page it's the mamas and papas factory outlet xx

Dipsy77 · 08/11/2020 09:00

@Cocoblue22 I'd only had the pram since February and the stand came off the pram in April. Luckily I found the screws so put it back on but the second time in august I was out in a park and couldn't find it that time xx

Cocoblue22 · 08/11/2020 09:05

@Dipsy77 that's really bad and shouldn't be happening especially considering how much prams cost!! X

Ltay2 · 08/11/2020 09:09

@Dipsy77 We are an hour and 15 minutes from the factory shop so think we will go have a look once it's back open. I've had a look at Ocarro and some friends have had that pram recently so think we will try that out with some others. Really put off Cosatto now!

Dipsy77 · 08/11/2020 09:29

@Ltay2 I think when you are paying so much out you need a good after service too. Look in the mamas and papas outlet page on Facebook they are always adding new stock and like you say you can try it out. The staff are really helpful too. We live about 25 mins away so like a good browse around where we're not in lockdown xx

Ltay2 · 08/11/2020 09:35

@Dipsy77 Definitely! There's no excuse for bad customer service so I am extremely put off Cosatto now, think I will go with Ocarro once I've tried it out. We are nearer to the Trafford Centre shop by about 20 minutes so will decide once everything's back open whether to go there or to Huddersfield as can have more of a 'day' at Trafford Centre. Will follow the fb page in the mean time though!

Dipsy77 · 08/11/2020 09:42

@Ltay2 didn't realise there was one in Trafford centre I'll have to have a look xx

Cocoblue22 · 08/11/2020 10:42

I believe mamas and papas do a trade in service too on prams that if you want a new one of theirs and already have one you can trade it in not entirely sure how it works though x

Bl0ndi3 · 08/11/2020 10:50

@Dipsy77 oooh interesting I'm 51 minutes away From the outlet store so I'll twist OHs arm to go for a drive in the new year. I want either the oyster 3 or the ocarro as they both have the same features I rate (folds with seat attached and pushchair lies flat for newborn as don't want carry cot) but the ocarro was always too expensive for me. Looking at the FB page they sell the ocarro for the same price can get the oyster 3 so it's back in the running haha.

Bl0ndi3 · 09/11/2020 08:52

@Cocoblue22 @Ltay2 let us know how you get on with your scans today. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

LittleRa · 09/11/2020 09:42

Good luck @Cocoblue22 and @Ltay2 ๐Ÿ’•

Ltay2 · 09/11/2020 12:14

@Bl0ndi3 @LittleRa Thank you!! Posted in the fb group but for anyone not on there...

We are team boy ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ he was very wriggly with legs going everywhere ๐Ÿฅฐ so nice for OH to see him move too as he hasn't seen a scan in person since our early one at 9 weeks!

LittleRa · 09/11/2020 12:33

Congratulations @Ltay2 ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’™

I emailed the private company where Iโ€™m having 3D (or is it 4D?! I donโ€™t really get it ๐Ÿ™ˆ) scan on 21st Nov and theyโ€™re still open during lockdown and I can still bring DD- yay!

Ltay2 · 09/11/2020 12:42

@LittleRa Aww yay that's good! 3D is the black and white usual ones I assume, as 4D is the orangey looking ones where you can see baby looking more 'real' if that makes sense ๐Ÿคฃ

Bl0ndi3 · 09/11/2020 17:46

Hope your scan went well @Cocoblue22! @Ltay2 love the scan pic and the video you uploaded on Facebook โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Next up is @zippityzip on Wednesday 11th?

Then we have 3 scans on Thursday 12th with @Busybee143 @Mococo1 @Sophi123?

And then mine on FRIDAY 13TH urgh what an awful date for a scan haha! My scan cannot come quick enough it's been nearly 5 weeks now since my early scan and I'm so anxious! It's dragging so much this week already ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Sophi123 · 09/11/2020 18:21

Going to be a busy week! Yes mine is on Thursday. Also got to go and have another blood test before mine because I'm O- blood so need to see baby is also negative. I have been much calmer since 9 week scan was good, but still obviously can't shake off the anxiety of everything not being OK on Thursday.

I also think I'm lucky and my DH can come with me.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for screening results to come through? If all ok on Thursday keen to start telling more people but wondering if should wait until know screening all ok too?

blodyn91 · 09/11/2020 19:14

@Sophi123 I think of they are not normal they tell you within a few days. If low you have to wait for a letter, I think a few of us waited 10-14 days for this to arrive.
I had bloods taken at scan as well, and need to have the injection at 28 weeks as Im also O negative โ˜บ๏ธ

Busybee143 · 09/11/2020 19:17

@Bl0ndi3 a busy week ahead, I've had my 12 weeks scan and I still feel a little anxious so don't worry it's normal!! I think I've pulled a muscle running too near my hip so I'm not feeling too good ๐Ÿ˜

Bl0ndi3 · 09/11/2020 19:23

@Sophi123 I'm the same honey I'm anxious even though I've seen baby before and a heartbeat etc.

My dad has arranged a family video call Friday night for me to announce on the pretence of just a random casual family catch up but obviously it's so I can share my news. I will probably tell really close friends and stuff but wait to tell further until after screening I think personally x

Think it's normal to have bloods at scan either way too x

@Busybee143 oh no hope you feel better soon xxx

blodyn91 · 09/11/2020 19:28

@Busybee143 I think im going to have to stop running! Never thought id ever say that. But its causing me so much pain! I think the hormone relaxin causes your pelvis to move differently ๐Ÿ˜ฉ Im gutted because swimming pools are also closed! At least I have an indoor bike trainer to keep me sane!
And yes I don't think anxiety leaves us ๐Ÿ˜ซ Ive been worrying about the fact I haven't put any weight on, and all these charts I google say Im under the normal range. Must stop googling crap, baby was perfect last Monday!

Cocoblue22 · 09/11/2020 20:44

@Ltay2 congratulations on being team blue ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ and on your lovely scan! Glad all was well with baba...what a little cutie! X

@LittleRa aww that's great news about your scan place!! Your DD will be thrilled x

@Sophi123 screening results come in the post usually 1-2 weeks later if low risk. If high risk my hospital said they phone you within a week and invite you in to discuss the results and what they mean and how you want to proceed x

@Busybee143 ah pulled muscle sucks hope you feel better tomorrow! Try and rest and relax and hopefully it will heal quickly x

@blodyn91 deffo don't worry about your weight remember there is no 'normal' and you've been exercising and burning off the calories so it's fine. Don't worry you have plenty of time to put weight on yet! You'll quickly gain it once you get over 20 weeks! Baby will be growing lovely and getting exactly what he needs so don't worry as long as you are eating well and when you are hungry that's all that matters at this point x

My scan went well today ladies...saw my wriggly little boy again ๐Ÿ˜ and all the checks they do looked good so I'm really pleased with that! Was hard to get a good picture of him though as he kept turning away!! Had my whooping cough injection while I was there so now I have a very sore arm! Treated myself to a mcds for being brave ๐Ÿคฃ any excuse!!

Hope everyone is doing well and feeling good xx
