Im dreading this lockdown ๐Ÿ˜ซ Im just so fed up and just think we need to get on with our lives. But trying my best to just be optimistic, @samilicious really healthy the way you look at it. I can still go out for a run/walk with my friend, I can still spend the weekend hiking but take a picnic instead of cafe stop, I saw my sister, nieces and parents the other week. I can manage 4 weeks of this ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Been having a lot of ab pain yesterday/ today, is kicking a bit painful at times? Im 17 weeks tomorrow, probably more likely to be ligament pain I suppose. Gender scan tomorrow though ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ Combination of excitement and being nervous.

Busybee143 · 01/11/2020 21:42

@blodyn91 I'm excited for you, I can't wait to know what we're having, are you swaying either way?? I feel like I'm having a little boy but I've always seen myself having a little boy never a girl however I already have a little girl and since having her I couldn't imagine anything better ๐Ÿ˜

samilicious · 01/11/2020 21:44

@SmileyT oh yes definitely - surely it's a sign of British patriotism loving a good moan ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜… which is what we need right now more than ever! With the country generally feeling crap. Also you talking about meals out inspired me to book a last minute date night on Wednesday night haha, try and make the most of it before it's gone!

@blodyn91 can't wait to hear the results of your gender scan ๐Ÿฅฐ if you decide to share them here that is ofc. Do you have a 4D thing there? It came as part of the package with mine, pretty freaky this early on but cool! Hope you had fun seeing the fam, deffo a good idea to get quality time in sneakily while you could. Also stretching stuff sounds normal, mine is usually by hips but recently felt like the bottom of my pelvis stretching? Weird

Catherinettc · 01/11/2020 22:16

Hey guys!

Sorry I've been so quiet i am a moany hormonal c**t right now to put it politely ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Honestly want to kill people at times is this normal? ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I can feel myself doing it but can't stop it! I feel so bad for my poor hubby and kids but at the same time they don't help the situation ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Roll on this 2nd trimester and hopefully I calm down a bit ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ on the plus side I in Northern Ireland so we don't have the 'full lockdown that u guys over the water do. Although my eldest daughter is currently in Liverpool at university so worried about her x

@blodyn91 cannot wait to hear what your wee bean is! What time is ur scan? I have my 12 week one on Thurs and can't wait xx

Mrsi2020 · 01/11/2020 22:21

Girls Iโ€™m just catching up, you can see when we dtd and I ovulated from right side.... does this sway one way over the other?! Xx

blodyn91 · 02/11/2020 14:46

@samilicious Ive booked 2D because the 4D was double the price ๐Ÿ˜† stingy here ๐Ÿคญ
Its at 4 pm โ˜บ๏ธ
Had the most hectic day not had time to think. Dog had thrown up everywhere this morning, but had really important calls to make first thing with work so had to just sit there talking to clients with dog vomit in sight. Eventually had time to clean it which made me be sick. I then couldn't eat so had a very late breakfast. My washing line with bed sheet then snapped as I was on the phone to my boss and I had to tell him I need to go because my bed sheets are flying around the village ๐Ÿ˜‚and just sat down now with a pot noodle for lunch ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ
At least I've not spent the past 6hours googling crap that worries me

blodyn91 · 02/11/2020 14:47

also put an offer in on a house this morning so been juggling calls with the estate agency ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž 3 of us put the same offer in ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ vendor calling estate agency at 3pm

Ltay2 · 02/11/2020 16:20

@blodyn91 Ooo exciting about the house! Not so much about the dog vom ๐Ÿคฃ so excited for you to find out now ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Mococo1 · 02/11/2020 16:22

@blodyn91 good luck on the house search hoping this finally happens ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

Mrsi2020 · 02/11/2020 16:59

@blodyn91 how exciting!!! Fingers crossed for you!

I had my 12w scan today, measuring 12 weeks spot on, EDD moved to 17th May ๐Ÿฅฐ so buzzing! Xxx

blodyn91 · 02/11/2020 17:03

Im team blue ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ sooo excited again now, baby was measuring a day ahead, so definitely nothing wrong with no bump!
I guessed it was a boy from the skull theory as well! Also had an incline as we have four nieces but no little boys in the family โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ
Regarding swaying we dtd day before and day of ovulation and day after, but also 3 days before. (we weren't swaying, just desperate for a any baby).

blodyn91 · 02/11/2020 17:04

@Mrsi2020 posted same time!! Lovely scan!! Such a relief passing the 12 week mark isn't it!

LittleRa · 02/11/2020 17:14

Congratulations on the scan @Mrsi2020 and on the boy ๐Ÿ’™ @blodyn91 ๐Ÿ˜

Madz123 · 02/11/2020 17:20

@blodyn91 ahh the boys are catching up! Congratulations!

@Mrsi2020 lovely scan picture!

So I finally told my family about baby #2 yesterday (17 weeks today!) and I think everyone is excited especially my mum as she thought she wasn't going to get anymore grandchildren due to me being put off by such a horrific labour last time (let's not go into that ๐Ÿ˜‚). So kinda wish I had braved telling them sooner!

On another note I'm sooo tired and as id predicted my ferritin levels have come back really low so going to have to take iron tablets which is annoying but hopefully will feel better soon ๐Ÿ™„ but if anyone else feels so physically exhausted make sure you ask your midwife to check your levels as it's not a routine blood test and all my other numbers are fine such as Hb so if I didn't ask for the test I wouldn't have been offered it!

Hope everyone is doing well ๐Ÿ˜Š

Mrsi2020 · 02/11/2020 18:48

@blodyn91 aww amazing !

I am DYING to know what I am having, now Iโ€™ve accepted Iโ€™m getting a baby and could technically find out in a few weeks Iโ€™m dying to know. I had a surprise before tho and really really loved it.

@Madz123 aww that sucks, hope your feeling better soon too. Iโ€™m on iron and have found a knack! If I drink it with my dinner in the evening or supper and a big glass of decent pure orange it isnโ€™t upsetting my tummy at all. Iโ€™m trying to up my fruit and so far no constipation.

I also have cold auto antibodies in my blood? Anyone know or heard anything about this? Xxx

Madz123 · 02/11/2020 20:03

@Mrsi2020 thanks for the tips!

blodyn91 · 02/11/2020 20:41

@Mrsi2020 going to guess a boy โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ
@Madz123 ohh lovely that they were all super excited! Must be a huge relief! I take spatone in my apple juice and it not too bad. Also put seeds in my porridge in the morning to help with digestive upsets, Ive suffered so bad with constipation ๐Ÿ˜ซ

Mrsi2020 · 02/11/2020 22:17

I meant take it with my dinner lol. I was going to try soatone but Iโ€™m on the equivalent of 20 sachets daily so couldnโ€™t afford it realistically not long term anyway. Lol at boy I did a thread and everyone said boy. I canโ€™t imagine myself with a boy, can only imagine me with girls xxx

Cocoblue22 · 03/11/2020 07:58

@Mrsi2020 I don't understand that chart sorry! Aww what a cute scan! X

@Catherinettc sorry you're feeling annoyed....think it's normal tho with all the hormones x

@blodyn91 oh no to the vom and sheets!!! But yay to lovely scan and being team blue ๐Ÿ’™ and yay to the offer on the house ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป you get this one. Your DTD sounds like us too we weren't bothered whether we had girls or boys we just wanted to maximise the odds on getting pg but if the theory holds true we also dtd on ov day and day after both times and got two boys so who knows!! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ x

@SmileyT if you update your list can you change my 20wk scan date to 9th nov please (even though I'll be 22+3!) thank you x

blodyn91 · 03/11/2020 09:24

@Mrsi2020 oh god no, that would be wayy too expensive. I take one a day ๐Ÿ™ˆ Have you got one daughter already? or is this your first?
@Cocoblue22 it is all quite interesting!
Anybody know of any good sites for second hand/pre loved good quality baby clothes? Ive joined a few on FB. Thought ot was worth keeping an eye out for some bargains

samilicious · 03/11/2020 10:29

@blodyn91 ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป on the house front. Ugh the dog sick think is the worst, and the Googling stuff

I keep randomly thinking about things and freaking out - like worrying about what stuff to get, whether we're going to die suddenly and leave the baby an orphan ๐Ÿ™ˆ going to make a will and hopefully that will make me feel better. Also scared we will never agree on a name - I've liked one for years and thought OH did too but apparently he's not keen now

Also - non-FTMs - do you have any breast pump or baby monitor recommendations? Just want something reliable for both, but reviews for all of them are so mixed!

blodyn91 · 03/11/2020 13:34

@samilicious Yes get life insurance to help ease your mind! I haven't got one yet ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
Soooo our offer got accepted even though another party offered 8k more!!!
Nothing signed yet, but I am sooo happy. its been 12 months of searching and getting knocked back again and again.
Its been 15 years to the day OH lost his dad today, and yesterday I said on the way to the scan 'come on Mr X, we need your help here' then today mam sent me this! A sign of Hope! (think if we were having a girl I would have Hope in the name somewhere).
Shit year getting turned around ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Cocoblue22 · 03/11/2020 14:24

@blodyn91 a friend of mine got loads of bundles off eBay! Asda and morrisons do lovely and reasonably priced clothes too I get a lot from there! Woohoo to the house! How come they didn't accept the highest offer? Great news for you though!! Lovely rainbow things deffo looking up for you x

@samilicious I didn't use a pump but I've heard Medela to be good. My mil got a monitor off amazon for ยฃ20 and it's brill think it's victure doesn't have a screen but connects to your phone or iPad. We paid loads for a Motorola which does have a screen it's good but was so expensive and does the same as their ยฃ20 connected to their iPad! X

blodyn91 · 03/11/2020 14:30

@Cocoblue22 we sold our house a while back, and all surveys done, and to a cash buyer. So we could move the sale onwards quicker. I also met the vendors and we said we were expecting a baby, so maybe they just wanted to help a young couple out ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Bl0ndi3 · 03/11/2020 14:31

@blodyn91 that's brilliant news โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Sorry been awol on this thread lately, to be honest just trying to get through to my scan atm as I'm anxious with symptoms fading a little - no more nausea and boobs not as sore but I have such a sensitive stomach that the slightest icky thing makes me heave haha and certain strong smells good or bad too so I still have symptoms but just makes me nervy that there's been an obvious decrease.

So for now I'm just plodding along and haven't been able to keep up with the thread for a bit hope everybody is okay โค๏ธ
