So I've got up this morning to a note on my car and a pizza delivery driver has smashed into the side of it. My neighbours text (I was asleep at 8.45pm!) Niiiice. I haven't seen the damage yet but I'm gearing myself up! Happy Friday.

My 20 week scan is 4 weeks today. Not sure I can wait that long to find out 😫 Haven't looked at any private clinics yet but supposedly my hospital might not tell us sex without payment so need to get this confirmed

Ive booked today off work and my parents stayed over last night, went out for a meal. Mam still commenting that I look well. Not really sure what she means 😅😆

Morning ladies,

My nausea seems to be subsiding some which is a little concerning as only 9+1 but I'm not going to let it worry me... probably just try and think positively and start trying to eat better! I've been able to eat 2 of my usual pre pregnancy fave meals the last 2 nights! I shall make the most of it as it could well come back. My boobs are still insanely sore so that's good 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

It's 3 weeks today until my dating scan 😖😖 I can't don't wanna wait that long but I don't wanna be having another scan either as OH will think I'm nuts.

Also thanks ladies re DSS who is at his mums now until Monday ( we checked he's still allowed to see both parents ) and then with us for a few days so will see how he gets on hopefully he doesn't get symptoms 🤞🏻

@Bl0ndi3 @blodyn91 totally agree just me and OH will be at the birth regardless, although I do think it's nice if people want other birthing partners/ kids there that they have a choice ☺️

@zippityzip sending your friend loads of positive vibes ❤️ and to you now with the car situation, hope it's just a little scratch that you can get sorted over half term, but what a pain x

@Bl0ndi3 hopefully it's just a precaution with them isolating everyone in their bubble and DSS is all good. The waiting is hard... honestly I feel like this pregnancy lark is so slllooowww 😩 but just do whatever is best for you both, if you get super anxious have a scan but I'm sure all will be well if you decide to wait until 12weeks aswell xx

@Busybee143 amazing scan do you feel more relaxed now? I haven't left my house since I got back we've just been having duvet days watching modern family 🙈 off out for lunch today though so actually have to get dressed 😂

@samilicious yay to a girlie 💖💖💖 #teampink is steaming ahead now, love the Xmas idea, I'm so rubbish I'd definitely let it slip to one person before and ruin the surprise 🙈. We had a 4D at our last scan and it was so nice to see some of the features, but still bloody weird xx

@blodyn91 ahh it's nice to look well... better than 'you sure it's only one' comments 😂 ooh charging for the gender at your anomaly scan is so harsh I bet loads of sonographer will just tell you but not write it down x

I was wrong nausea hasn't gone 😂😂.
just nearly threw up at the smell of the fridge, there's nothing wrong with the smell of the fridge I've just been very sensitive to sudden or strong smells so far in this pregnancy, both good ones and bad ones 😂

Had to give away my febreeze bathroom air fresheners which I normally love the smell of but cannot stand anymore 🤢

@blodyn91 oh god 'look well' - that and bloody 'glowing' from work people. I'm not glowing, usually just a bit shiny-faced from having the heating cranked up WFH 😂

@zippityzip so crap about your car! Have you had chance to get it looked at for costs yet?

@Bl0ndi3 don't worry too much - mine starting getting better about then too. Well, just not every single day and started wanting non-beige food a tiny bit more

@SmileyT duvet days/nights sound ideal. I might slip in the mean time but if I do I'm not guna stress myself too much 😀

@samilicious Not yet but she was so apologetic and absolutely gutted I can't even be mad at her. I said I would get a quote and she can decide whether to pay it or go through insurance - she really doesn't want to claim to her insurance but I think it'll be way too much.

Also @SmileyT all the positive vibes worked. She saw the specialist today who said that the baby was absolutely perfect. No issues with the brain whatsoever. He's such an awkward little sod. Very very happy parents over here.

Omg... it’s HALF TERM!!!! I’ve made it 😍 Even better... DD is going to a caravan with her dad tonight for 2 nights!!! I’m barely going to move off the sofa all weekend. Just kidding, I’ll obviously miss DD loads, but we’ve got lots of nice things booked next week- pumpkin picking, National trust place spooky trail etc, so I am sooo ready for some chilling this weekend!!

We had Halloween parties at school with the kids today and I wore a maternity top with little feet on the bump and it says “Kick or Treat”! The kids have all been telling me name ideas for the baby (my class are 6 and 7 year olds). Some... interesting ideas 😂

Hey @SmileyT sorry haven't been on. All good here. Still no date for 12 week scan. Im 10 weeks + 2 so still plenty of time. Not much happening right now tbh apart from being a moany bitch 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 xx hope ur well xx

@SmileyT I'm deffo feeling a lot more relaxed. I still I'm going to keep it quite secret till 16 weeks though as I think it's a little more awkward working in a school because I hate the kids asking me about my personal life. For me work is work and my life is my life but we will see how long I can hold it in haha. I feel like my bump is coming so maybe not too long 😂 The duvet days sound so good, make the most of them now, they don't exist when you've had a child 😂

I am good, another scan today and a bit of scanxiety, can’t wait to get outta first tri, but ok. Hardly any symptoms this preg, considering I had full blown hyperememsis first two times it’s strange , but I’m not complaining as long as all is ok! Xxx

@blodyn91 noooo belly touching is the worst? My MIL asked and that was ok I guess but was mega early on and felt so weird 😂 what do you they hope find/feel even at this point?! Weirdos

@blodyn91 I hate unsolicited bump touching. Every person that touched my bump I stroked their face aggressively. OH IM SORRY DOES THAT MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE.

@blodyn91 I couldn't agree more! I'm also a little annoyed with people mentioning the size of my bump. While I feel huge, I've been told on multiple occasions that I "don't look pregnant." I understand they mean it as a compliment but it's annoying. I know I haven't 'popped' out yet but yes I'm indeed pregnant, so please stop staring at my stomach!

I even hate OH touching my belly before warning me 🤣 he does it every morning when he wake up to say hello to the baby which is cute but I get irrationally annoyed mainly because it tickles and I wasn't expecting it 🙈

Hia girls 👋🏻 I just wanted to drop in and see how you're all getting on. Lovely to see so many fabulous scans & finding out all the genders 💕

I just wanted to say thank you for all your love & support a few weeks ago. It's been nearly 3 weeks since I went into hospital and 2 weeks since the last part of the pregnancy tissue came away (at home). Physically I'm doing much better, still bleeding like a light to medium period but no pain or cramping which the nurse from EPU is happy with. Emotionally I'm doing ok too, still very up & down but I know it will take time and overall I am doing okay. I went back to work this week and was pleased that my boss was happy for me to return doing reduced hours as per my return to work which I was very greatful for. If you remember I was on a phased return having been off with anxiety so she was happy for me to start back where is left off 3 weeks previously which meant it was a nice low key week.

Hopefully the bleeding will stop soon & I'll have a negative pregnancy test next Friday 🤞🏻 that would means it's all good and we can move forward. DH and I agreed that we will start ttc again in the new year, after giving my body chance to recover. I will keep popping in to see how you guys are getting on and hopefully I'll be able to share good news with you all by the spring of 2021🌈💕
