@mrsmummy1111 how old is he? We've definitely gone through phases like that. It's hard but think of the positives- he'll have a great day and learn lots of social skills!

@Madz123 ahh bless you!!! When will you next see them together? Is there any reason you're feeling worried about telling her? 💕💕

@MrsEmilyB probably a good few weeks unfortunately 😕 I think it's probably because last time with my son it was a bit awkward and a bit of a shock to them as I left for university then met my partner at uni and had a baby all before I finished my course 🙈 obviously this time it's different but I still feel that they think I'm too young/we've not been together long (hopefully they don't actually think that)

@mrsmummy1111 How is he? Developmentally some children (depending on age) can't the context of the environment - so saying goodbye is like saying goodbye forever as they can't anticipate your return.
Honestly he won't be traumatised - you're actually teaching him a lot of skills. It's just upsetting for you. I know, my kids did it too.
Make as little fuss as possible at drop off and it'll pass. You can use social stories (visual supports) for his routine so he can tangibly see that you come back for him. And some people have found that increasing the days helps 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also I think it's possibly because it's only one day a week, as long as he is having a great time when he's there try and hold onto that at drop off and hopefully it will get better for you must be so hard though 😭 Try and get him excited for it the day before and the morning of?

Sorry girls if I missed you, it's hard to keep track! But best of luck for you girls at your scans today and everyone else who's got them coming soon.

We've also started at the 20w scans for some of us haven't we! So exciting.

Thanks for all the advice re nursery. I've come home and had a (hot) coffee and feeling less sad. @zippityzip he's 17 months and we've been lucky that he hasn't ever really been a clingy baby. He goes through stages of wanting me a lot or to just be near me, but he is with my mum 1 and a half days a week and whenever she's around he acts like I don't exist. And if my sisters ever take him he waves goodbye and doesn't look back. So he isn't clingy generally it's just nursery which almost makes it worse. But I know he doesn't hate it I just have to keep reminding myself that. I'd love to send him an extra day, I think it's done wonders for his development but at £80 a day when I don't even work....it's excessive and my husband would tell me, frankly, to fuck off if I suggested it 🤣

Has everyone seen the new announcement about London going into tier 2? That's pissed right on my chips. There go my bloody birthday plans. @zippityzip I know for sure that includes me and you, where is everyone else on the map?

@mrsmummy1111 Yep had two tables of six booked for dinner on Saturday BUT THATS FUCKING CANCELLED.

Haha so he does it entirely for your benefit - just keep plodding through and it will stop at some point - kids are manipulative fuckers. And yes £80 a day is shocking!!!!!

@mrsmummy1111 my niece was like that, to the point my sister didn't trust the nursery so shes taken her out and now has a child minder. But since you can watch him, I don't think you need to do this. My niece was coming home with nappy rashes, and shouting please no when they parked outside. 😭

I thought 2nd tirmester was better than the 1st? Jeez there round ligament pains are bloody painful, up a few times a night now, and last night was in agony! Everytime I sneeze or do something quick its like somebody is stabbing me. 😩😩 But Im also hoping it means Ill have a bump soon? 🤭 Had a dream that my bump just grew over night

Also I live in Shropshire, so very very lucky as its one of the least affected counties. Probably because the animal population exceeds that of humans 😆

@Ltay2 yes! Thats when its at its worse, literally can't move in bed! Making me feel a bit relieved though, I quite like knowing something is happening, and that they are so common its nothing to worry about.

Hey gals 💕 thank you for the good wishes! All is well ☺️ scan took about 45 minutes because we have a very wriggly, very stubborn baby who didn't want to lie on their back! Got there in the end after much jiggling and peeing! Got to hear the heartbeat too which was just amazing.

New EDD for your list @SmileyT - 27th April 2020 💕 right when I thought I ovulated and 2 days ahead of the last scan.

Gender predictions? I'm still feeling its a boy. @Mustbemad82 I agree with the others, yours looks like a little girl at this stage! It's the cute forehead.
