Congratulations @Herondaleducks. So exciting to hear of these babies. Hope you get to go home soon xx

I'm the same @FourPlasticRings. DD will be going to nursery 2 days a week, and hopefully to my mums still for another day. I will need help from family, esp when DH goes back to work. Fortunately DH is taking 4 weeks off (pat and annual leave). And with DD at nursery I dont think I'll bother with masks, just making people wash their hands. I think the rule of 6 will limit people anyway. Most of my friends have a few young kids so that pushes us over the numbers, and PIL live hours away, cant do the drive down, and dont want to come on the train as they are vulnerable. So visitors should be limited 🥳

Zaalfruit · 23/09/2020 18:23

Yes @Treaclepie19 had her girl!! Omg how is going ?

2 days already wow x

(@Buzz22 - I want baby out - I feel like I have been pregnant forever - so upset today ate so much chocolates and sweets feel sick now -laying in bed hating myself )

Buzz22 · 23/09/2020 18:29

@Zaalfruit considering I was high risk for pre-term labour, this little one seems to have made herself at home! I'm 38 weeks Friday and see the midwife then so we shall keep waiting, and waiting...and waiting (obviously very pleased to have kept her cooking to full term! But getting impatient now these babies are all arriving!)

Treacle81 · 23/09/2020 18:56

Awww congratulations @HerondaleDucks must have been all that boob squeezing lol, beautiful name ❤️ thanks girls, booked in for the scan tomorrow first thing so hopefully I'll be sleepy and not bother as much. My partner was able to visit there and bring fresh clothes and my toiletries so that fairly cheered me up xx

otterbaby · 23/09/2020 19:04

@Zaalfruit I feel similarly, my diet is shocking at the minute. I figure if I'm only pregnant for another two weeks, I'll eat all the sweets I want 😬

MrsK89 · 23/09/2020 19:18

@HerondaleDucks congratulations!! Hope you both are well x

BettyBotter1 · 23/09/2020 19:23

@Treacle81 that sounds horrendous, sorry you're having to go through that. Hope you feel much better soon and the tests reassure you it's nothing serious.

@HerondaleDucks 💙👶 huge congratulations on birth of baby Ennis 🥰 Thanks for sharing your birth details too, induction nicely side stepped and sounds like you did brilliantly!

@bluemoon2468 🤞 for you!!

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 23/09/2020 19:26

@otterbaby at the minute I have absolutely no idea what we will do with visitors. All the grandparents luckily seem to be fine and understanding of whatever we want, the problem I have is that me and dp have completely opposite views. I am and will probably sway to being very careful and for how long I don't know, I have been furloughed in total for 4 months between March and now,went back in the middle for a bit, because I couldn't socially distance at work. I have been so careful because I'd been furloughed I figured it made sense to be seen as I wasn't at work so have to be honest had a bit of an at times miserable and lonely pregnancy not doing things I would have done if I wasn't pregnant so to throw it all away as soon as the baby gets here all that being careful I've sacrificed for months just doesn't make sense to me. Dp on the other hand wants to go back to normal and wants people in his house and staying overnight if needed and people holding baby. So we have now decided to not decide anything until baby is actually here. Sorry really long reply 😂😂

Just been to see my brothers new baby who was born yesterday he is so gorgeous, because of where we live it's local lockdown we aren't allowed in houses / gardens (I don't think they would have allowed us in the house anyway) the baby was in the car in his car seat with the boot open and me and my mum just met him through the boot 😂 stood on the pavement the whole time so it was strange but to be honest I didn't feel the need to get too close to him I wanted to protect him.

@Treacle81 it sounds really tough what's happening. Stay strong you're doing great.

@HerondaleDucks congratulations! What a beautiful name! Glad you are both doing well!!! Xx

Zaalfruit · 23/09/2020 19:43

@HerondaleDucks love the name !

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy my dh doesn’t want to social distance - but he has so many siblings and they all but one are married and have there own bubbles - I tried to explain to him that we should atleast try and allow the baby to build her immune system . My brother works in the nhs ( psych ward) and is tested every 3 days - he told me already he will only Come after a negative test on a Friday to see baby as he doesn’t work weekends . My sister said she won’t come and see baby till Xmas as she is a teacher and it’s impossible for her to socially distance and will only Come if she can get tested and comes back negative .
My parents don’t mix with anyone as my mum is high risk - so I feel More scared that we might infect her .

blankiesandunicorns · 23/09/2020 19:46

Congratulations @HerondaleDucks and well done! Another baby here, this is so exciting 🥰

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 23/09/2020 19:47

@Zaalfruit I'm just so fedup with having to decide what's best. To be honest I don't know what's best at all. The baby won't care either way she only needs us but I'm just thinking from a mental health point of view for both me and dp is being strict going to affect us in that way and possibly make our first few weeks not as nice as they could be. I really don't know. Dps parents aren't careful at all, they get on public transport and go to pubs at the weekend and I don't think abide by the social distancing, my mum works in a really high risk area public facing and she too has been living her life seeing friends but she has been distancing so I'm just fedup or thinking about it. I'll decide on the day she's born 😂 xx

Zaalfruit · 23/09/2020 19:49

@bluemoon2468 good luck xx

@Spark27 I wish I could Limit people !

@otterbaby I feel Miserable all
The sweets and chocolates have given me a migraine and then dh has decided today he wants to learn how I have organised everything. Also we had a huge argument as he wants to go gym but the next to me box has been sitting on the middle of the floor for the last few week- I do my share he is so annoying always procrastinating- always watching football - I wish Liverpool lost his head has gone so big from them winning this year . He also wants to bring the baby home in a Liverpool onesie . ( As if I would let that happen)

Zaalfruit · 23/09/2020 19:52

@HerondaleDucks well my mil and fil do what they like and I can’t even say anything to them or ww3 will arise.

She called me at 5.30 I was taking a nap and she said why are you napping that’s why the baby was transverse -.....? I mean come one leave me alone . If she brings her friends with her to ours I’m going to say I feel sick and baby is feeding so we can’t come down . Dh can entertain them .

Aquablue1123 · 23/09/2020 19:54

Congratulations @🎉 hope you and the baby are doing well 😘 xxx

Aquablue1123 · 23/09/2020 19:55

Congratulations @treaclepie19 hope you and the baby are doing well 😘 xxx

Aquablue1123 · 23/09/2020 19:57

And congratulations @HerondaleDucks too! All this baby news is getting me excited! Not long for us all now 😬. I hope everyone is well. My mum finally arrives tonight and I'm so excited! 🥰💃🏼 xx

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 23/09/2020 20:00

@Zaalfruit surely she wouldn't bring her friends and expect you to be ok with it! In the middle of a pandemic!! Ask your dh to just tell her what you both want. I feel really sad she seems to be so bossy with you.

HerondaleDucks · 23/09/2020 20:06

Can't believe it...

otterbaby · 23/09/2020 20:15

@Zaalfruit how frustrating 🙁 he needs to get a shift on, there's not much time left! Even if he sets up the next 2 me and you don't attach it to the bed yet. It took my DH a bit of time to ensure it was all correct. And the Liverpool onesie 🙄 men are ridiculous sometimes!

LexiM · 23/09/2020 21:06

Huge thanks to everyone for all the lovely messages. ❤ been finishing off some bits at work today (my choice to go in), doing a handover tomorrow. Then I feel like everything is pretty much done there and I can properly focus on home.

Ah @HerondaleDucks huge congratulations! Glad he has arrived and he is adorable. Hope you had a good experience in Salisbury Hospital, I'm keen to keep upright during labour and use the ball too! Glad your DH could be there for it all.

@Treacle81 thinking of you, sorry you're having such a difficult time with things.

@Zaalfruit argh nightmare MIL! I really feel your DH needs to put his foot down now and set some rules, you shouldn't have to hide in your own house if she comes round.

I'm 37 weeks today, feel like I'm gonna be pregnant for another 5 weeks. Feeling jealous of all these slightly early babies! Baby has definitely dropped, can really feel it and my maternity jeans were digging in a lot today so I guess that's where he is lying. I spend most my evening on the birthing ball now.

MrsK89 · 23/09/2020 21:16

Awww he's amazing @HerondaleDucks ❤️ hope you are doing well. Eeeek babies babies babies!!
In other news, my appetite is back and I'm starvingggg

Hope you are OK @Treacle81 x

BntTowers · 23/09/2020 21:28

@Treacle81 hope everything is going ok

@HerondaleDucks he's such a cutie

@lexim I'm 37 weeks tomorrow so not far behind. Quite excited to be classed as full term.

Started to get jealous with all these early babies.

Treacle81 · 23/09/2020 22:25

Thanks girls! Means a lot. Baby has me scared a little there as midwife thought he was a bit too sleepy on the monitor so had me in all sorts of positions which tbh wouldn't be great at best of times never mind when feel like I'm floating but he seemed to pick up a little , just jeans more monitoring of him too now. Just alot! @HerondaleDucks aww he is gorgeous ❤️. Just discussing with mw my water Borth and tbh after hearing what she had to say I've gone off it. She said a lot op people tear badly due to the water softening down below, I already tear v easily after sex die to my episiotomy so that's a no go for me. I'll use it for pain relief but won't actually give birth in the water. Just a heads up xx

booandbumpp · 23/09/2020 22:30

@BntTowers ah snap I'm 37 weeks tomorrow too!

@Treacle81 Sorry baby gave you a scare but glad they picked up! These little ones like to give us a run for our money - I'm always on monitor for 2hrs+ cos she's either sleepy or won't settle so heart rate is too high!

@HerondaleDucks Congratulations! Such a sweet photo. It's so hard to think that there's one of those inside us haha! I don't think I've quite got my head around it, despite this being my second pregnancy!

SkyBlue20 · 23/09/2020 22:33

Aww congratulations @HerondaleDucks, he’s lovely! 💕
