@blodyn91 so funny with the McDs order as so many people messaged me on insta afterwards saying 'look at your body you clearly don't eat McDs' as if I'd make that up to sound interesting 😂 hope you're not bruised from your fall and I think no more group rides is a good plan. I love that pregnant and screwed IG 👌🏾

@Bl0ndi3 I'm obsessed with reusable nappies but have no idea if I'll just give up as soon as baby is here 😭 really want to give it a good go though as disposables aren't great for environment but not putting pressure on myself... funny a couple of us are considering it as my friends think I'm barmy 🤪 you can definitely stop testing now xx

@FairyLights2 glad all went well with the scan today bet you are so relieved x

@LittleRa so glad the childcare issue has been addressed x

@zippityzip it is so tough my friend gave birth in July and hubby was only allowed to stay with her 4hrs a day and no other visitors allowed, she had an ECSec and was in hospital for a week 😭 it's so hard on everyone involved, but 10weeks down the line she has already forgotten about it, fingers crossed for being in and out. Also @Sausage1990 my friend had NCT online but they all meet up weekly now anyway x

@Sophi123 this all sounds positive, hoping it is just a little bleed and all is well with your little bean in there on Wednesday x

Love all the shopping/ purchasing tips - the less time I have to spend shopping for baby stuff the better... @Bl0ndi3 your list looks very similar to the one I made 🥰 @Sausage1990 don't think I'll do a baby registry but for close friends and family I'll probably just tell them what I need x

@mrsmummy1111 sorry no personal advice on the situation but we're all here for you, as you said odds are still well in your favour. Hopefully the results come through even quicker than 2 weeks and you can go back to just being excited x

@SmileyT I am similar when it comes to the reusable nappies but everybody I've spoke to who has used them says that as soon as you get into a rhythm and a routine they're great and a million times better than disposables in terms of leaks and stuff! I was talking to OH yesterday and we basically said that we would always have some disposables on hand so that we can always use them if we need to and like you say not put too much pressure on ourselves to have to use the reusables always and for like family if they're babysitting etc or even out and about.

My favourite so far are little lamb and tot bots oh and the wizard uno And I think I'll try all 3 x I've read that buying a one or even a few on eBay is a good option so you can try them before you buy.

My friend at first thought it was gross and was really judgmental but was explaining how they work in more detail yesterday and she was like oh right ok that doesn't sound so bad haha and seemed to get it haha!

I'll use my last clear blue weeks test this week and hopefully seeing that 3+ will be the final test I do! I'm 5 weeks tomorrow based on my calculations so maybe Wednesday I'll do it just to be safe as I got 2-3 last Tuesday...

@Sausage1990 I feel the same way ☹️ I'm already lonely where I live and I thought NCT f2f would really help with making mommy friends 😩 maybe as @smileyt said even if online we may benefit from some extra buds

I defo agree with you a registry would be fab.

I'm going to sound horrible but me and SIL don't have much in common so I think her talking about what is the best of the best for the baby is her way of bonding with me which is really nice but overwhelming when I'm very sensible with money

I can't deny them the luxury of giving gifts but people who have kids have given me the opposite advice lol and at the same time my in laws need to be a bit wiser with their money for their own sake instead of stretching themselves - I should be grateful but it just doesn't seem worth it to put them through the misery 😩

my close friends/relatives will however be getting me things I need and anyone else close enough I think il ask for money/something useful if possible! 😬 quite sad at the thought that I would get so many clothes as gifts that I won't be able to buy any myself so thinking if anyone asks I will say we have soooo many clothes already lol 😂

@mrsmummy1111 i don't have any advice sorry but can only be here to offer as much support as you need..I'm sorry that you had to hear the news on your own and can imagine the agonising wait for 2 weeks- I can only stress that there is a 58/59 chance everything will come back okay 🥰 so hoping that optimism can get you through and whatever the outcome little one is a happy blessing

@Sophi123 so glad the bleeding has stopped and that EPU will scan you 😬 seeing a sac is the beginning of your baby and most they might call you back in a few weeks anyway when they can pick up a heartbeat so you have that to maybe look forward to as well ❤️

@SmileyT that's good about the NCT group meeting... Thats maybe what will happen, hopefully anyway. Yeah I wasn't sure about a formal registry, more just a list of things I need/want so it makes any gifts more useful.

I was thinking about reusable nappys but I think I'll just start with disposable ones but try something like Kit & Kin which are meant to be biodegradable... And then explore reusable ones once I've got my head around actually changing nappies etc. I'm definitely going to use reusable wetwipes tho, I've been looking at Cheeky Wipes & think I'd like to use those as I love the fact that it's like a kit. For ease of getting started and stuff, a kit is right up my street.

@cathertinettc oh I am with you on the nausea front today 🤢 i had a 2.5hr meeting with my team today in my big boss (all women) and trying to not dry retch in the meeting was such hard work. Thank god for my ginger boiled sweets 😩

Thanks so much ladies for all your lovely supportive messages, truly they mean a lot as we are waiting for some more clarity before telling people (other than family and close friends, I need their support!) so it's nice to have some virtual hugs to get me through!

I feel a lot more positive than I did when they first told me. I think I was just in shock and didn't get a chance to process it properly and ask any questions. One of my NCT friends from when I had DS went through this and she's been sending me lovely reassuring messages sharing her experience and other people she knows and I know the odds are absolutely in our favour. But regardless of what happens, all we can hope for is a healthy baby and the rest will work itself out.

@mrsmummy1111 I'm so sorry you have to go through this awful wait for results like the others have said the odds are in your favour ❤️ and you have all the support you need from us!

@Mococo1 oh I absolutely love planning and researching haha I've got an extra note app for just pregnancy stuff with like different post it notes for stuff so I've just got loads now haha different lists of stuff 😂

I also have a pregnancy journal that I started before the miscarriage and I've restarted it but it's all drawn and set up in pencil so far and I'll go over it all in pen when I've had the 12 week scan!

All this sort of stuff makes me happy haha and then the actual shopping after planning and researching makes me very happy too ❤️❤️😂😂

@Bl0ndi3 I'll be hitting you up for tips when I feel like giving up 😂 yes I'm sure you'll get that 3+ you're so positive and so deserve this x

Scan at 15weeks today and the sonographer asked if we wanted to know gender and we really did, I'm so bloody happy I'm having a little boy 🥳
