Oh no @JTB123 will feel like a long day, you’ll need to keep yourself busy! How you doing about yours? Is this your first baby? It’s my first and I’m so nervous I don’t feel very pregnant, I’ve had some sickness etc but nothing major

Anyone know how to delete the pic and repost should’ve hid my personal details Confused

Tomatoandbasil · 21/09/2020 11:41

@s4r4h84 you can report it to Mumsnet and they will remove it.

@Enjoy07 I'm in the boat, I said to my husband I've ballooned already! I was eating so much in the first trimester to ease the sickness and like you said lockdown as well and it's all just caught up with me!

I'm just thinking of all the walking I'll be doing when the baby arrives, it'll soon drop off (it did with the first).

Enjoy07 · 21/09/2020 11:54

@ChilternsHan completely get where you’re coming from with the attention on your stomach, literally where I’m most self conscious. I can’t imagine having to deal with comments like that from my parents, but my best friend has been through that too which wasn’t nice for her.
Thank you, I’m going to buy some new clothes and see if that helps, also we will be telling a lot more family and friends on Saturday after my scan, I’ll be 17 weeks on Sunday so thinking I’ll start to have a more pronounced bump soon xx

Enjoy07 · 21/09/2020 11:56

@c24680 I was exactly the same with the sickness- I felt horrific from week 6-14/15 and all I could eat was carbs- pasta, crumpets, crisps so I’m now feeling that and feel huge!
Yes that’s true, lots of walking to be done when baby is here! Xx

s4r4h84 · 21/09/2020 12:41

@s4r4h84 what a beautiful scan! You must be full of adrenaline now! I can't decide on gender? Maybe boy.x

Rosehips89 · 21/09/2020 12:58

Thank you, all. I'm shattered from the worry but I spoke to a midwife who said that I could book into the next clinic for a face to face chat and for some routine tests. She was really reassuring but didn't brush me off like I thought she would.

I whole heartedly recommend anyone going through the same get in touch with their GP or midwife. Totally worth it

holb54 · 21/09/2020 13:23

@s4r4h84 I'm going to say girl 💗

@Rosehips89 glad you're getting sorted 😊

@Enjoy07 that's exactly what I was eating! Everything was beige 😂

The sickness has mostly gone now so I've gone back to eating less but still put off by healither foods.

Enjoy07 · 21/09/2020 14:27

@c24680 yes anything beige! How far along are you? I’d say in the last few days I’m back to eating normally (except meals a lot slower?!) and I was 16 weeks yesterday xx

s4r4h84 · 21/09/2020 14:37

@Aurora124 ah thank you my husband thinks it’s a boy he reckons he saw a little winky hahaa And he did guess our other two right! Yes It’s all starting to get a bit exciting now I’ve seen a real live and kicking baby on that screen Smile
@holb54 that 2 guess for each so far then!

I can definitely relate to the all beige diet -think I had A greggs sausage roll for lunch every day for a week and a half at one point!

LottieX · 21/09/2020 15:12

100% agree with everyone on living the beige life!! This week I ate some salad again and I was so proud of myself!

Enjoy07 · 21/09/2020 15:42

@s4r4h84 well done for actually making it to greggs! Xx

@LottieDot you should be very proud of managing to eat a salad! Xx

KatieG200394 · 21/09/2020 15:51

@s4r4h84 I'm going to guess girl 💖

BatKat · 21/09/2020 16:14

Hi all. We had our scan this morning and due date is now 29 March. We were in there for quite a while as baby was not playing ball with having it’s measurements taken. Lovely to get some extra time to spy on the baby though :) Everything is looking good so far, just need to keep our fingers crossed for the screening results x

LittleBrownBaby · 21/09/2020 16:15

I ate only beige until 10/ 11 weeks! Now I'm back to wanting normal food, fruit and veg and luckily wanting much smaller portions.

Scan on Wednesday so counting down the hours. I'm having a c section at 39 weeks so should be due for that in the last week of March I think.

aureliacecilia · 21/09/2020 16:16

Great news @BatKat!

Has everyone had their scans now?

c24680 · 21/09/2020 16:40

@Enjoy07 ah we're at the same time near enough, 16 weeks today, due date is the 8th :)

Phie04 · 21/09/2020 16:54

Totally with you all on the beige food front! I'm still the same now although I'm managing fruit and veg more. My BF put avocado in my salad the other day and was nearly sick. Its the only food I've decided I hate during pregnancy, although I wasn't a massive fan to begin with. Had no cravings really apart from sweet foods which wont be good for my arse lol!!!

SnickerdoodleSnek · 21/09/2020 16:57

@Rosehips89 So glad your MW is supporting you. Fingers crossed for you!

In terms of food I've made myself stay healthy! I haven't gone off anything really (besides tea until recently) so I've packed healthy lunches for work so I have no excuse! I don't want to put any more weight on that isn't going to be from baby, just to keep risks reduced (as I'm higher risk for gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia). I totally get the beige food thing though! Love my carbs 🤣

Rosehips89 · 21/09/2020 17:53

Im with you all on the beige front! I keep waking up mega early, absolutely ravenous for toast, which means at 10am I'm hungry again. I'm trying to choose healthy meals and snack on fruit and veg, but it's hard when you look at what you've got for tea and gag.

I've gone right off dark chicken meat, and it used to be my favourite. Lamb smells like an unclean farm animal, and pork is icky.

Guess it's a cheese sandwich then...

Babafarmer · 21/09/2020 18:28

@aureliacecilia I think there is a few scans tomorrow.

I feel huge at the moment. 15+5 and first baby.
