15w 1day. I've been feeling the same thing for a few days now but shrugged it off as wind/gas. This is the same type of movement, same location, usually brought on after the usual triggers (orange juice, cold fizzy drinks, lying on left side).

holb54 · 17/09/2020 19:17

@Phie04 the wii fit did me dirty a few times so I can relate 😂

@Rosehips89 sounds like it could be!

@Rosehip89 aww it really is the best feeling ❤ can't wait to feel this one start moving!

Rosehips89 · 17/09/2020 19:22

I can't stop quietly screaming. I've wanted this for so long. I can't believe we're here.

Sussexbysea · 17/09/2020 19:47

@SnickerdoodleSnek I had my results on Tuesday, it was such a relief. Did you hve to wait long for them?

NoGinNotComingIn · 17/09/2020 19:56

@Rosehips89 I was just over 15 weeks when I felt it move, my husband felt it too, full on kicks and movement not just flutters, it’s nice. I was about 14 weeks when the flutters started. Don’t panic if you don’t feel anything again for a few days though, I don’t always feel it every single day and I’m 17 weeks tomorrow, so it’s been a couple of weeks. I usually feel it at night when I sit on the sofa or get in bed, not much during the day really. There isn’t meant to be a pattern until 25 weeks plus.

SnickerdoodleSnek · 17/09/2020 22:04

@Sussexbysea my scan and NIPT was last Friday, so not too bad!

Sussexbysea · 18/09/2020 06:34

@SnickerdoodleSnek did you get your NIPT results same day? Mine took a week, longest week of my life

SnickerdoodleSnek · 18/09/2020 07:50

@Sussexbysea My screening test was Friday, my results came yesterday (Thursday). So just short of a week. 😊

Sussexbysea · 18/09/2020 08:05

@SnickerdoodleSnek thank goodness they didn’t make you wait too long. Have you got to have any additional scans etc?

Baby has to have a heart scan when I’m 22 week but from what we’ve seen already, everything will be fine.

SnickerdoodleSnek · 18/09/2020 08:43

@Sussexbysea No extra scans thus far! I've booked a private scan at 16 weeks though, just to keep an eye on baby's health (and try and find out the sex if we can, haha).

I hope everything will be okay with your scan! ❤️

ValidUser · 18/09/2020 09:14

Baby Chris is doing great! We saw both sides of his brain, two feet, bladder and stomach. So excited!

aureliacecilia · 18/09/2020 09:50

Lovely scan of baby Chris @ValidUser. How many weeks are you now?

chloxhunt · 18/09/2020 09:55

@ValidUser lovely scan!!

ValidUser · 18/09/2020 09:56

Thanks @chloxhunt!

@aureliacecilia 12+4 today 😊

holb54 · 18/09/2020 10:49

Amazing news! I just found a Subway that is in a Petrol Station (Not marked on Google maps) less than 10 minutes away from work so I can get a Subway for lunch, Woo hoo!

@ValidUser lovely scan picture!

Sussexbysea · 18/09/2020 11:39

@ValidUser oh so lovely!!! Xx

aureliacecilia · 18/09/2020 12:08

Thanks for the earlier reassurance re telling work about the pregnancy. I've told my line manager who was lovely and very nice. I feel much better now. My last line manager pretended to faint when I told him I was pregnant with my son so this was a nice change! (He did then give me a hug and say congratulations!)

Enjoy07 · 18/09/2020 13:06

@aureliacecilia glad it went well for you, do you feel relieved to get it out in the open? Xx

aureliacecilia · 18/09/2020 13:29

@Enjoy07 I do, thank you! She seemed totally unphased and genuinely pleased for me whereas I remember feeling like a massive inconvenience when I announced my pregnancy in my last job. I've asked her to keep it to herself pending my consultant appointment in a few weeks as when I tell other colleagues I'd like to have a bit more information in my mind about when I might be going on maternity leave and that kind of thing. I suppose I can start telling wider friends and family - school mum pals and those kinds of people - now! Grin

SnickerdoodleSnek · 18/09/2020 14:02

@aureliacecilia So pleased it went well for you! I was so nervous about mine too but staff were very supportive, especially as I'm still quite new. Have you got to have a risk assessment?

aureliacecilia · 18/09/2020 14:18

@SnickerdoodleSnek Probably at some point when we engage with HR but I work from home and there are no particular hazards!

Enjoy07 · 18/09/2020 14:40

@aureliacecilia how exciting!! I work for myself so I don’t need to tell anyone at work which is lovely so still only immediate family know. It’ll feel very strange when we start to tell everyone else! Xx

aureliacecilia · 18/09/2020 14:47

I've told immediate family, three friends from university, and a couple of local friends (who sadly I haven't seen in ages because of lockdown/life getting in the way). All people I would want to turn to for support if I need it. I haven't done a big Facebook announcement. I put up a couple of lines last time after my 20 week scan and may well do the same this time but I'm a bit more sensitive now to how upsetting these can be for people who are struggling with infertility, etc.
