I completely forgot about the likelihood of infection, I was prone to them in my last pregnancy and right enough, they were super intense pain too. Hopefully they get to the bottom of it soon!

Thank you everyone. I'm just waiting for the midwife to do all the tests. They put me in the quiet room because I didn't want to upset anyone by crying in the waiting room.

@ChilternsHan I still have to go for the dating scan because she couldn't get the measurements because the baby was sat completely upright and flipped everytime she tried to get a measurement.

Convinced the baby is on the right keep feeling pressure on my groined on the right

@KatyCherry23 great news, hopefully the bloods will get to the bottom of it and you'll get sorted 🧡

@Phie04 exactly, you're expecting it to glide over and instead the dig their whole body weight into you 😂😂

@holb54 trust me I get it, when i for my annual check up for my heart they proper press on my boob with it and omg

@KatyCherry23 Aww great news! So glad that everything is OK for you and you got to see wriggly baby!

I was surprised at how hard they pressed! It was uncomfortable at the time, but I actually felt bruised the next day from it. The baby didn't want to lie in the right position so she was really digging around!

@ChilternsHan same with me I was so sore and tender the next day. It worried me at first thinking shed hurt the baby but I know they know what they're doing!

@ChilternsHan I noticed that too, was sore the day after.. funny since I'm half afraid of knocking anything against my stomach for fear of damage and they're shoving on in 😂

@Phie04 hahah that's true! My friend recommended that i ate something sugary before to make them wriggle lol

Had my 12 week scan today - thankfully everything was looking perfect. Such a massive relief, after two losses I’ve been convincing myself all the way through that something was going to go wrong. Moved me forward a couple of days so due date is 20th March now

Have a few pictures but don’t think I can see a nub on any of them - I do love a good gender guess! Although I’m convinced atm that it’s a boy. So impatient to find out!

Is anyone else having an early gender scan?!

Fellow Friday scanners, are you all as nervous as I am?? I've got a full day at school before my scan, and we've got a trip out for half of the day. I'm going to be exhausted by the time I get to the hospital! 😩

@SnickerdoodleSnek yes I'm so nervous about mine! I'm lucky that mines at 10am so it's practically first thing, think I'm more nervous about the blood tests😂
