@Sam202020 and @jopotter hopefully your scans go well today! Mine is at 6pm tonight, it's been torture trying to get through the day as I'm so nervous!

@chloxhunt I had brown discharge twice now and as you've said it's probably little one jabbing some old blood out the way. Hopefully Friday will come around quickly for you x

To those that have had 12 week scans do they take blood at the same time? I had bloods done at my booking in appointment so not sure if they need more as my veins weren't too happy about it last time!

jopotter · 09/09/2020 15:22

@LottieX Thank you, scan went well this morning. I had worked myself up so much so I had a headache and was teary. Anyways little bean was wigging around so much that our photos are a bit blurry but so relieved to see baby. My due date has changed to the 21st of March now.

Sam202020 · 09/09/2020 15:27

All seemed well with wriggly little bubba!
Had to be sent for a wee because my bladder was too full so Bubba was squashed and couldn't get measurements. Once my bladder was emptied a bit, they were happily wriggling around ❤️

Feeling so relieved and shattered from stressing!

Any guesses on sex?

@Sam202020 I think boy!

DSP21 · 09/09/2020 15:37

@Sam202020 lovely scan!!

Interesting that you said baby looked squashed as mine did (which left me with a rubbish scan) and now i'm wondering if it's just because my bladder was too full!

Wren1986 · 09/09/2020 15:37

@LottieX they took blood at my 12 week scan, it's only for the screening tests though so it depends on if you have opted for those.

Taylortyler · 09/09/2020 15:41

@Sam202020
@Rosehips89
@EmzG20
I think you're all having girls but I don't think I've ever guessed a baby correctly yet! Lovely scans and I am so excited about mine tomorrow now!!
I also had to order some maternity clothes- as much as I don't have a bump- nothing fits anymore! 😫

holb54 · 09/09/2020 15:41

@LottieX aw that's late enough, I'm sure it'll go well and you'll be so relieved when it's done 🧡 they did my bloods after the scan.. You'll have drank plenty for the scan which usually makes it easier for them to get blood!

@jopotter lovely to hear your scan went well!

@Sam202020 love the pictures!

@LottieX yeah they look more blood from me at my scan for screening for downs but it was optional

Sam202020 · 09/09/2020 15:42

@DSP21 Maybe then! She said baby was too squashed so couldn't stretch out enough to get any measurements. Soon as I'd been to the toilet they wriggled around!

chloxhunt · 09/09/2020 15:43

@LottieX yeah that's what it probably is! I thought i felt the little one move yesterday but i was only 11+6 so I don't think i did but it felt like it turned round or something I don't know how to explain it lol

holb54 · 09/09/2020 15:43

@jopotter great news on your scan 💜
@Sam202020 lovely scan pic! I think boy

Hello, I've not been active at all lately because I've been really stressed and struggling.

All those who have had bleeding/spotting have you noticed it has lined up with when periods should have come?

I've had bleeding and cramping at 5 weeks, 8 weeks and now at 11+4 weeks. I normally have horrific periods that can make me sick and I feel like my body is trying to have a period still.

Last night was so bad the cramping woke me up and I've had more bleeding then before red and brown so the EPU have booked me in for tomorrow morning. Bleeding has stopped for now but cramping is still all over my back and round my tummy which is worrying me more than the blood. Also complete loss of symptoms, no nausea or sore boobs.

I'm so annoyed because my dating scan is Monday at 12+2 days, I'm so gutted because I kinda know what they will say tomorrow morning.

Rosehips89 · 09/09/2020 18:15

@chloxhunt I don't want to give bad advice, but if that were my discharge, I'd assume it were normal. Maybe if it continues get a check up, because even though it could be healthy, it's a change from what your normal is and it's always good to be told it's fine and not "you should have come in sooner"

KatyCherry23 · 09/09/2020 18:16

@chloxhunt mine looks like that most the time. I think it's due to the increased blood flow. I think it was like that in my first pregnancy too but it was so long ago I can't quite remember.

ChilternsHan · 09/09/2020 18:23

I'm not surprised you're stressed @KatyCherry23 have you had any scans so far?

It's good that they've booked you in for tomorrow morning, although I'm sure an agonising wait. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you Smile

chloxhunt · 09/09/2020 18:28

@Rosehips89 my scan is on Friday anyway luckily so I don't have to wait long any ways
@Rosehips89 ahhh I'm glad I'm not the only one! I was really worried about it at it's the first time i had something like that! I feel like I can relax a bit more now!

chloxhunt · 09/09/2020 18:30

@KatyCherry23 I'm glad it's not just me! I was quite worried as it was the 1st time I've had it like that! Thank you for reassuring me!

@KatyCherry23 yeah! I had mine at 8 weeks when I should've been due! I hope everything's okay though!

KatyCherry23 · 09/09/2020 18:32

@ChilternsHan I paid for a private scan at 7 weeks for bleeding and cramping and they said everything looked fine and saw a little heartbeat but couldn't confirm where the bleeding was coming from but I thought we were fine after that and tried to ignore the bleeding and cramps, midwife didn't seem bothered either.
I was hysterical on the phone this morning so EPU booked me straight in, I'm dreading tonight as it always seems to come over the night.
